Update: so turns out there was an internet outage. Wish the cashier had mentioned that. The lack of any explanation or further interaction was what gave the bad impression.Original post: Ive enjoyed coming here for almond milk lattes w/ option for decaf espresso. Just struggling to feel motivated to go again after today. Went in and was told only cash right now by the cashier. No explanation why. As soon as i said i didnt have any cash she turned around with her back to me and said nothing more. She looked like she was rushing to get everything packed away. It was about 4-6 min til 4pm and Google says they close at 4:30 p.m., so i got the impression she was trying to shut down early & had shut down the register ahead of time. It felt really awkward and i felt disappointed.

Empanadas were delicious and full of meat. About $3 per empanada.

Wow! This place is awesome! I decided to try a new coffee spot and was so amazed how good it was. I’m picky about cold brew, and this place had one of the best cold brews. My favorite thing there is their caramel macchiato. If you stop in for coffee, be sure to try their empanadas. I would suggest the chicken and cheese one. The ladies who work there are so kind and friendly, and the drinks/food are great. Definitely 5 stars!

Great atmosphere to have a coffee and chat! Great vibes and environment! Music was playing and it was great! The empanadas was very good. I enjoyed the acai bowl. My only suggestion would be to make a smaller size of the acai bowl. I would definitely return again!

The most wonderful hazelnut cold brew OF MY LIFE. You have to try it when you go here! I don’t even drink iced coffee, and when I do it’s rare, but I was talked into this and I’m sooo thankful. The baristas are the sweetest, and are so friendly! Make sure you start up a conversation with them.Also the lemon bars are to die for, get one of those too.

I dropped by for a quick coffee while waiting food my ride. Service was prompt and polite. I didn’t order a pastry, but they looked delicious. My iced americano was delicious too. I sat outside, and while I was waiting, who I think was an owner stopped and gave me a generous sample of their cold brew. Delicious hazelnut flavor!! I’m definitely planning on coming back!

My family and I LOVE Espumoso! In the last week, we have tried 2 other Empanada places. They were good BUT Espumoso still has the top empanadas. The beef & potato and chicken & cheese with the red sauce are the best savory empanadas. With that said, the Romeo & Juliet is amazingly delicious! We’ve tried the Romeo & Juliet (guava and cream cheese) in 3 other places, and Espumoso has the best one! Try the R&J with a cafe con leche and you will be in a state of bliss! You have to try this place if you are longing for the R&J!

Great coffee and friendly service however they are SUPER slow. It took them 30 minutes to help 4 customers on Labor Day morning. I will give them another chance but very disappointed with this experience. 👎🏻

Very small cozy place. Not very loud or busy. Would be a good place to study, do homework, or just relax. I had a meeting there and it was fine. I had the Espumoso Frappe which is caramel with espresso. It was pretty good. I should have added chocolate.

The Latino twist on this place gives me hope: It’s excellent! The smoothies, inspired by Hispanic roots, are made employing modern techniques that make them taste natural and fresh without sacrificing how delicious they are. They also have the traditional fare for any coffee shop worth its salt, including pastries, different coffee blends and a relaxed setting.I highly recommend their Guayaba smoothie!

Staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and the food and drink are all yummy. As a vegetarian non-coffee-drinker, I enjoy drawing and reading here for hours sipping on a fresh smoothie and having their veggie empanada. A go-to spot for me when in Bishop Arts and good place to meet people.I really appreciate their book on Vermeer I dive into a little more each visit and how they always have soccer on the TV. Very nice vibe of culture and home.

For several months, Espumoso was my treat whenever I did something hard and it was super motivating because of how great this place is! They also have ice cream, which makes it a great spot for groups where youve got a mix of palettes you are trying to appease (coffee, tea, ice cream, empanadas, smoothies, etc)I also highly recommend their cafe con leche (espresso, steamed milk, raw sugar, and cinnamon)

OK place, a bit expensive for the quality and service but they are in an arts district so it’s quite understood. Coffee is not bad but not much to write home about. Empanadas on the contrary are pretty delicious!

I love the coffee here, and the empanadas are great for a quick lunch. My friend always gets the strawberry smoothies, which are fresh and have no added sugar in them.

Honestly the food is amazing, tasteful, Mouth watering, and would go there everyday if I could but just the downtown location inside the plaza of the Americas not the one in the Bishop district. The food/menu isnt the same, the service is rude, people that dont even work there go behind the counter when they shouldnt be. Long story short dont go to the location in the bishop district just the one in downtown Dallas

This long-standing coffee shop is in the heart of the BAD. Good service, nice seating. Sometimes the line is ridiculously long, and most often the music is too loud. They also have ice cream.

We were staying near this cafe and had to try it while we were in town. We ended up going both mornings we were in town!The empanadas are sooooooo good! The Romeo and Juliet was yummy if you have a sweet tooth! The beef empanada was great!My friend says that their white mocha is the best she’s ever had! Customer service was great! Personally, I loved the little Latin vibe this place had!
