Pretty cool place and atmosphere. The ice cream was good, but the other options werent as plentiful as youd desire. Nonetheless, worth a visit.

I highly recommend going here there’s ice cream, candy, and fidget toys. With a nice seating area it’s perfect for hanging out.

Music was too loud so you can’t actually hear the employee and there’s no price list for scoops or cones?! Just spent $10 on 2 tiny cups of ice cream and it was literally the smallest possible scoops ever. I don’t even know what to say other than I won’t make that mistake again. #bummer

Love supporting local and always had a great experience here in the past so not going to completely down star this, but not sure if the remodel, pandemic or time of day I came in buy quality was not as I remembered. Menu was more limited since pre remodel and ice cream had a lot of ice freezer burn instead of usual creaminess. Will try again in case it was time of day because I went close to close, but disappointed

Delicious variety of very unique flavors that include elements like honey, real coconut flakes, whiskey, espresso, tres leche, and so much more. My point is, go there if you want something other than the usual chocolate, vanilla, strawberry bunch. Super friendly employees, fun old fashioned atmosphere. The prices are up there so be prepared to drop some cash! About $8 for a 2 scoop sundae.

The guy working at the stand was ridiculous. He became irate and was rude when I asked him about pricing and he began arguing.

Small selection, ok quality ice cream. The guy was wearing a mask but NO gloves(!), hands dripping in ice cream, grabbing a waffle cones, touching credit cards, paper receipts, repeat…

Some of the best ice cream I have ever ate, excellent staff, was an awesome way to celebrate passing my comps! Had the The Dream with a scoop of Salty Dog and Texas Honey Whiskey, topped with whipped cream, pecans, and caramel sauce at the suggestion of the server, and it will be very hard to order anything else after that because of how awesome it was! 5/5 I would recommend everyone give the Hypnotic Emporium a shot!

One of the best dessert shops Ive ever been to!Staff were really nice and energetic. Clearly love their jobs. We really appreciated that they accommodated us close to closing because we got stuck in traffic and it was my husbands birthday.Their ice cream is fantastic! Would have gotten a picture but we scarfed them down!Wish I could have gotten a shirt in my size.Cute shop with lots of nostalgic candies and treats.Wish we lived in town just to come here more often! Will definitely stop in again next time were in DFW.

Fun ice cream parlor style shop! Grabbed a couple of shakes, though a bit pricey, we definitely will go back. Staff was quick. ICE cream delicious. Didnt cause stomach issues. Lots of fun candies and throwback feel.

Very very disappointed in the way we were treated this last time that we were in. we had been craving this ice cream place for days and we were very excited to know they were open on the 4th. unfortunately we will not be coming here anymore due to how rude the staff lady was, not only did she completely ignore us while waiting to get our order taken after we asked her if they had bananas. washed her hands and went to the next guest as if we were standing there waiting. got mad when we brought it to her attention and started taking our order with an attitude so we just walked away and she wanted to be funny and say have a good day thank you for coming in. ive worked at food places myself and i know what that meant. not giving my money to a local if they want to act that way just because it was brought to their attention. we had just had a very good convo the last time i went in so i couldnt believe she acted that way. ice cream is very good but that was very disrespectful as we are very frequent customers paying a high amount for ice cream just like others were.

Hypnotic is all things delicious. Their ice cream is perfectly creamy and always perfectly done, and the other offerings surprise and delight. Even walking through the candy section is sure to make you laugh as you see old candy from your childhood and a great selection of sweet favorites.

A definite must visit.Weve been here a couple of time and each trip has been a real treat. The folks working here are the nicest people, dressed in retro soda fountain uniforms and so patient to help all the kids. It was just great service.As for the ice cream, every flavor we had in our group of six was amazing. Nobody was disappointed.

My family calls Hypnotic Emporium THE Ice cream place. Imaginative flavors and the usual classics. Homemade cones. And the ice cream sandwich made with donuts. Youll wanna try it with a buddy. It is tasty. They also do sodas and shakes and Sundays. Go. You wont be disappointed.

Flavor selection is weak and weird. Can I get a simple cherry flavor? A little over priced as well, shaddy scale method is not convenient for the costumer. Why not have set prices by the scoop like normal ice cream places? Im not trying to buy silver here.

The Bees Knees is a must try flavor if you like lavender. The ice cream is not too sweet, and the mix of lavender and honey is so well balanced. Words cannot describe how delicious Bees Knees. Try the blueberry cheesecake flavor too.

When searching for vegan donuts in DFW look no further. I enjoyed all of the options. Raised glazed, chocolate covered with coconut and dont holes! I think its only on Mondays and Tuesdays but maybe they will do all week if more people knew about them. I will be back for sure!

We had the pleasure of eating there tonight as a family. My youngest daughter has a lot of allergies and they went above and beyond to sterilize and make sure there was no cross contamination and all the staff was so friendly. It’s nice to find a place our whole family can enjoy!

My husband is a dessert addict. I usually unenthusiasticly agree to go along when he suggests we try ice cream stores or I just stay home. However I did agree to try Hypnotic Emporium for his birthday. I loved it. I so appreciate the old time soda shop atmosphere they have created. While I havent purchased any candy (yet) I enjoy walking around and thi king back on childhood memories some of the candies remind me of. I love that the flavors change and the quality of the ice cream.

Seriously. SO GOOD. And my husband made a recommendation for an ice cream topping they didnt have, which the owner actually took and implemented, which was pretty awesome. (The crushed cone sprinkles!) The flavors are all wonderful and unique, the service is excellent, and when you walk in it just smells like the most wonderful stuff on the planet.

Fantastic treat after a fun day at the Dallas World Aquarium. I was taken here for Fathers Day and a DEFINITE must for any treat lovers out there! If anyone is looking for great customer service and awesome desserts at a good price, come here.

Their staff is not friendly at all and they refused us service on a Saturday night at 9:03pm even though the doors were open and their published hours say they close at 9:30pm on google and 11pm on their own Facebook page. We had family with us from out of town too! The girl behind the counter was super snarky and condescending when we told her about the published hours.
