Staff was super friendly and low pressure helpful, but the best part was the complimentary bar. Nothing makes you feel more like a celebrity than complimentary drinks just for shopping in a spot.Also once I put the boots on there was no way I was leaving without them so that helps. I immediately wore them for the next six hours walking around a museum and shopping/dinner, and they were amazing.Bottom line: boots: great, shop: great.

If you go ask for Chase! Had a great experience today and everybody in the store is extremely helpful. Walked in and was immediately asked if I would like a beer or water to start off my shopping, you even get to keep the koozie. I am an extremely picky person with boot fitment and chase was extremely patient with me as he went back and forth grabbing me multiple sizes and pairs at a time. He was extremely knowledgeable about the whole boot line and even made the recommendations for what I should get. Great experience with him and the store. If you are as picky as me dont be afraid to ask for the multiple pairs of the same boot and size to pick out the exact feel and finish you are looking for as all the boots are handmade. Great experience and will specifically go back in the future to shop with chase.

This place is amazing! Its a cozy, retro feeling, old-timey, chic interior with a bar. They offer a wonderful selection of styles in different types of leather (calf, monitor lizard, ostrich, cayman, and alligator). The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly too. I love that they offer handmade boots ranging from $200-800ish. Whether its a gift for yourself or a loves one, these boots will make a lasting impression for years to come!

I recently moved to Texas, and, well, like any good new Texan should, went to go find a new pair of boots! I had seen Tecovas advertised online but was skeptical and a lot of local friends had never heard of them so I went to a boot chain store and tried on over three dozen different boots and couldn’t find the right fit. I decided to drive across town to visit the Dallas Tecovas in person and wow I’m glad I did! After checking out lots of other boots, I instantly noticed the quality and craftsmanship of Tecovas boots, and I could feel the difference in comfort as soon as I put my first pair on. The customer service experience was top notch and the staff and super patient, friendly, and helpful. Being able to enjoy a cold beer on the house while trying on boots is a nice touch! After several times wearing my new pair of “Earls” around the house, I decided they were a little too tight. No problem... took them back to the store and was out of there within 10 minutes with the perfect fit. Maybe they’re not the MOST expensive boots out there, but I’ve never paid more than $150 for a pair of shoes so this was a big purchase for me and I believe you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and go see them in person for yourself.... you’ll be glad you did! I certainly plan on buying another pair when I’m able to!

For work I have to dress at least Business Casual, which means slacks and button down.  I have been going through dress shoes left and right lately (no pun intended).  The problem is that after a month of wearing dress shoes (even if you rotate them) they start to look raggedy. Even if you polish them they still look bad, even though you can still use them for a while longer.A lot of my co-workers tend to wear boots so I was checking out what they liked.  One mentioned Cavender’s, so I checked them out but every single boot was different, I couldn’t get a consistent size or anything, I know boot sizes are different than normal shows, but I was being fitted in 3 different sizes with each boot.  I did not like the lack of conformity, even though the staff was super friendly.Next day another co-worker mentioned checking out Tecovas, he has been wearing them for years, so just orders online.  My wife and I were going to dinner in Dallas so we decided to swing by and we are very glad that we did.  The staff was AMAZING. Everyone was so nice, even when the baby started to get upset.  When we walked in we were offered: Water, Beer, of Bourbon.  I took some bourbon, and it was Garrison Brothers!!! My wife snitched mine so they gave me another one.The boots felt amazing! The salesman was super knowledgeable and showed me which one to get, and they didn’t work on commission either.  Sadly the one pair they had in my size was a tad to small on the right foot.  Thankfully they are opening a Plano store in 2 weeks, and we met the manager of that store while here.  We will be headed there once it opens and getting a pair of boots.  They are a tad more expensive than some of the other boots, but the staff was awesome, plus hearing the story of how this place was founded was just as cool.Another great thing is you can get free monthly Leather Conditioning of the boots if you buy them there. So that is just another reason to get a pair shortly!

The staff was very friendly greeted me when I enter and they have a mini refreshment bar. But I am glad I had a chance to try on the boots I wanted. Never knew I needed a double E size. But love my boots and the service. Will order from them again. I had the boots shipped from the store on a Thursday afternoon via Fedex and they were at my house in Michigan by Sunday morning.

Wow how could you not like their service! I walked in yesterday and wanted to see the boot I had seen advertised on Facebook with no intention of buying anything. My sales associate was genuine and new his product. He offered my wife a drink while I tried on the one and only boot I looked at. I have worn cowboy boots since 1978 and never have I put on a boot that felt and fit like a glove. Sold Sold Sold and as a bonus he shined the pair of boots I came in with and made them look like new.

Tecovas sells great boots from their location at Henderson and Central. I have short, wide feet and thick calves. Teo suggested the Jackson and they fit like a charm. I dont think Ive ever had such comfortable boots. Great store, great staff, great boots

I couldnt get my mind around buying boots online, so I flew there from Phoenix to get them (and a family visit). Im so glad I went. I got a pair of Ostrich ropers and my girlfriend also got a pair - in calfskin. Our sales guy, Kent, was awesome and patient as I tried on several pair. He made the experience even more fun and pleasant. He told me these boots would be totally broken in within 1.5 hours - he wasnt kidding. The most comfortable boots Ive ever worn. Amazing boots, cool store, great folks. GO THERE! Tecovas for life!

I have been a fan of Tecovas for over 2 years and have purchased more than 4 pairs for family members including wife, father-in-law, father. This is over and above the 4 pairs I have bought myself. A life long cowboy boot wearer, I was amazing with quality a d comfort of this brand. I can even say these boots fit me better off the shelf, than my Luccheses and that is saying a lot. I cannot stop singing the praises of my exotic alligator Austin boots. It not an exaggeration to say I get compliments when ever I wear them.The new store in Dallas is perfect. Location is great and the staff was just as I expected, helpful and knowledgeable. I am excited to see what styles come next and what new exotics. Maybe one day even a pair of stingray or elephant. Until then, Tecovas keep it up!Note parking standard for this area, worst case you have to valet, but it is completely worth it.

I ordered a pair of Shanes in honey suede, but they didnt fit so I decided to exchange them for a pair of Johnnys in the same color at the Dallas store. Day took care of me and got me exactly what I needed. The quality is impeccable and Day was awesome! Kudos to the Tecovas team for a great product and to Day. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. In short, shes exactly the kind of team member that reflects the passion for quality and customer service that is Tecovas! THANK YOU!!!

Went on a Saturday night, wasn’t busy at all. I wasn’t happy with the service I received. I was greeted at the door and that was it. I was able to look around and I was there for about 15 to minutes just looking around. No one that worked there came up to us to ask if we were doing ok or anything. The service was just awful. I will still buy a pair of Tecovas. I really liked the layout of the store and how everything was laid out. My review is mainly for the service I received while I visited this store. On a positive note I was able to have a small hands on experience with their product. I’m still interested in buying some, but will probably do it online now.

Anywhere that a can drink a bourbon and talk about boots is a place I want to be. I had a great experience here, Kent made me feel very welcome and took his time answering my questions, giving me advice and just talking about boots. I was looking to buy my first pair of boots. After reseaerching what i was interested in i decided Tecovas was the best choice. I read the reviews and was ready to make my purchase. I was reluctant to purchase online so imagine my surprise when they opened a store in Dallas. I was greeted immediately and asked what brought me in. I was directed to the boots that I was interested in and offered a bourbon or a beer. Then when my drink arrived, I was helped with picking out the right size. Never owning a pair of boots before, i wanted to be sure that i had the right fit. Needless to say, i was pleased with my choice. The staff here was amazing and attentive. The store was clean and organized. i recommend Tecovas in Dallas if you are looking for a great boot buying experience.

Went In today and purchased a pair of boots. Had a hard time deciding on which one to get, ended up getting purchasing a pair that wasn’t really for me. Called and asked if I could come on in and exchange my pair and they were more than happy to help me exchange. The swap was really fast and easy, and the service is so amazing! I wanted to wait a few months before I gave a review. Before the Dallas location opened I bought a pair of 11 1/2 black Austin alligator boots that fit perfectly right out of the box. When the Dallas location opened I bought a pair of black Dillon caiman boots. The 11 1/2 were much too small and I had to purchase a size 12. They were tight but after a few months of breaking them in with leather softener they fit well. I have a pair of custom bias cut crocodile boots also made in Mexico so I know my true boot size. Overall satisfied with the quality of Tecovas,but sizing may be off on certain styles.

Bought a pair of gators when this company had just started out advertising on face book, I must admit I was a bit skeptical, the boots were beautiful and the most comfortable boot I have ever worn, and the quality is second to none ! I just purchased a pair of full quill ostrich at the retail site in Dallas, I was helped promptly, staff was nice and accommodating,I will never purchase a pair of boots anywhere else, except my red-wing work boots .

Really, no packaging or bag for a $225 alligator belt??? I just came back from making a special trip to buy a belt for the hubby for Christmas. Everyone was friendly and helpful, until I checked out. That person wasnt unpleasant, per se, but after I paid, he said have a good day or some other pleasantry and was about to turn around. Im like...uh...this is a Christmas gift. Could I at least get a bag? So he fished out a perfectly decent bag -- its not like they didnt have any, or all their bags were extraordinarily big, or anything like that. He just expected me to pick up the $225 belt and mosey on out. [shrug] Weird.

I wore these to my daughters wedding and they really hurt me. Theres no support between the heal and the toe. It was like having a wood block attached to my heal. After 2 hours I couldnt stand up anymore. By far the most uncomfortable boots in my 50 years of wearing boots. Im past 30 days and after wearing them to the wedding theres scuff marks on the sole so I cant return. I complained to Tecovas and they thanked me for my input and said that I picked the wrong size so its my fault.

Great Store, great collections, the staff was awesome, there was no parking but I just drove to the next block and walked to the store and shopped. I am a happy customer. I would never try to destroy a companys reputation over lack of parking on a busy day and on a street like Henderson where parking is limited. This guy who gave you guys a bad review over lack of parking space is totally unfair. in his attempt to ruin ur companys image over parking !

I tried the Ostrich Dukes on and immediately fell in love. The fit, the support and the craftsmanship were all exactly right. These guys know what they’re doing and I’ve decided to wear only Tecovas from now on. Best boots I’ve ever had! Big shoutout to Rodrigo as well for being so awesome and helpful when I was there!

I absolutely love this store front. I made my first purchase on line 2 years ago & made several attempts to go to the Austin location but nerver did. Nonetheless, I stopped in today for a leather wallet. I made my purchase and was offered free engraving. If I could give this store less than one star - I would. We are Tecova fans at our house (after many years of being exclusive to Lucchese). We entered the store around 6 pm (open to 8 pm), knowing exactly what we came to buy. The store was moderately busy. No employee greeted us nor offered us help. Two men working there were idle and leaned up against furniture and commented that 9 pm would be here soon to themselves within earshot. We finally had to ask for help in order to buy a pair of boots. One of the tall bearded guys (ironically outfitted in the boots we came to buy) finally came to help, but warned us that the stock was ravaged by Christmas and that he was low on all sizes. He was able to produce the boots/size we wanted, but the sizing was off and we needed to try smaller. He said they would get their stock replenished Tuesday or Thursday with their next shipment, but he was unsure if the shipment would have what we needed. There was no effort to secure the size we needed or an offer to call us when it was in. He said we could call ourselves if we wanted to check on it. The 5 star customer service noted in other reviews for this store was notably absent, and it makes me question our choice of the Tecova brand. Lucchese has a similar, more expensive boot (the Lincoln, $495, check it out). Perhaps Lucchese should have our business!

Love the brand, but would have appreciated better customer service. In summary, I went into the store and was offered a refund for a defected product immediately, but then they refused to give me a refund once I couldn’t provide a receipt for a gift from a year ago. There aren’t any Tecovas where I live and was finally in Dallas for the first time in a while, so this was just a huge let down all together.I received a bag from the store last year that had a defect and took it in to ask if they could fix it. Unfortunately they don’t sell the bag anymore but offered to provide me a credit with what I paid for the bag. Minutes after that they switched their position and refused to provide me with the original offer unless I provided my receipt from Tecovas. Well unfortunately this bag was a gift so I wasn’t able to provide a receipt.
