They half fix your stuff and when your car break down when its there fault they will not give you a rental. They will tell you to rent the car and they will reimburse you your money but dont fall for that. I contact the Better Business Bureau on them. I finally got my car back from the shop today. I hope i want have anymore problems out of the transmission. There is a guy name Luis that work the front desk and he is nice

The whole process was professional and detailed from the initial call of inquiry to picking up my car. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Tony and Gabriel kept me informed and made me feel at ease the whole time time my car was being repaired. This shop quoted me the best price and got the car repaired fast.

My 2004 Avalanche decided to kick the bucket during the wonderful snow and ice storm that we had. Unfortunately it was my transmission but the good news is that I called around to many different places and wound up getting the best price with the best deal here at Texas transmission repair. The owner himself actually partakes in working on the Transmissions. Free pick up for my truck and a good price on the bid and they kept to their part of the bargain. If I have any more issues with any other vehicle that I own I will definitely take it to them.

My son and I drove frm Amarillo to pick up his car August 7th I believe its almost a month later and they still havent fixed it and they have our hard earned money 🤬🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️😡 A whole lot of waiting with no good communication frm the shop! VERY disappointing....

I have a vehicle that has a CVT transmission that has been known to be problematic before reaching 100,000 miles or less, so guess what? Just reached 100,000 miles and yes the transmission is going out. Not knowing if i should spend money doing a transmission rebuild knowing this is type of transmission is a problem and how many miles would i get before having to do it all over again. If I could give this shop 11 out of 5 Stars, I would. They dont make places like this anymore, and they certainly dont make people who pride themselves in their work and are accountable / stand 100% behind their finished product anymore. What transmission shop offers a lifetime warranty, and stands behind it? Not weasels out? The family at TX Transfusions...thats who.TX transmissions rebuilt my transmission 26,000 miles ago. Their price for a 4L80 was $1,600 INSTALLED, better than everyone elses. I was supposed to come in for a 25k mile check up but I forgot. So technically they had every right to send me home packing. But they didnt. One of my seals blew out north of Ada Oklahoma, 126 miles from the shop, in Aug at 104F. A tow truck would have easily cost me $400 to $500.Raul was already on a pickup near Tyler but he told me to hold tight and hed come get me. Sure enough, he towed me back to the shop and we had a very pleasant conversation on various transmissions the whole ride back. Learned A LOT.Turns out my trans seal problem was a b**** to troubleshoot, and they ended up changing every part twice, but they didnt give up! They stood behind their warranty and they made it right! Turned out to be a wonky flywheel.I picked the van up; they handed me the keys with a handshake and a smile. These guys deserve everybodys repeat business! This should be THE role model for American businesses!Raul, Gabe and team...THANK YOU again.

Raul and his Dad Tony are awesome! I brought my work truck (2000 Dodge Ram 2500) in on Wednesday evening and picked it up Saturday morning. Gabe was great to work with also. Tony warned me about a issue he noticed under my truck, above and beyond I thought. The truck drives great. The customer service is great. They also rebuilt the transmission in my 1999 Chevy Silverado about 3 years ago and did a great job. Highly recommend them to anyone.I got another work truck that Raul and his guys rebuilt the transmission on. These guys are top notch. Nobody else will work on my transmission. I had a solenoid go out on the 2000 dodge ram 2500 and they honored the warranty. It was in and out and back to work in a day.

Went in for a TV cable adjustment since my transmission (4 speed AOD) would not shift into 4th. Told me they adjusted, but it would not work and so needed to rebuild it. I said I would pick up. Turns out, it was working fine and I think they were going to try to charge me 4 a fake rebuild. Very poor follow up also - never return a call.

I have a project truck that I have been finishing up over the past couple of years. The transmission was leaking badly from pretty much everywhere and was flaring under load when I got it, so I shopped around for a rebuild.You simply cannot beat the value of Texas Transmission Repair. I was towed to the shop, got the rebuild done, and out the door quickly, and for a very fair price. They have a LIFETIME WARRANTY as long as you get your scheduled transmission maintenance performed there.I will say that upon getting the truck back, I had a couple of issues with a faulty pan seal leaking, and something else. I was upset about it, but remained calm and gave Raul a call. With no hesitation, no blame directed at me, he told me to bring it back and they would handle it. They did exactly that.Raul is very knowledgeable. When I elected to do the rebuild I wanted to get everything upgraded. He was extremely honest with me, let me know which things would be beneficial, and pushed me away from costly parts that he felt I did not need, but would have most definitely put extra money in their pocket. The honesty amazed me, as everyone knows transmission shops are notoriously dishonest swindlers. That is not the case here.I have directed several people to this shop, and will continue to do so. Thiefs stole everything out my car. Radio, car jack, interior lights, 3 new wheels, and other things. When confronted I was giving the run around. This will never be forgotten. They owe me big.

My regular Lexus repair shop did a free diagnosis and gave me a quote for a rebuilt transmission. I checked around online and found TX Transmission repair and was impressed with their reviews. So I called to get a price quote and it was several hundred dollars less than my repair shop and included pickup and delivery. Raul was very courteous and maintained communication throughout the entire process. I want everyone to know upfront that the lifetime warranty included on the TX Transmission Repair requires you to service the transmission at regular intervals at TX transmission Repair. Something to think about depending on where you live. The car drives great now and I will be driving the 25 minutes to keep my lifetime warranty.

Ever since we called him to tow the car from the house (free tow) he told us everything what could have been wrong with the transmission, and he knew everything he was saying! Left my bmw there for transmission repair after so called fixed they call me to pick up my car and had the same issue. 4 times and what they charged for the job was supposed to be new parts not used I will never bring my bmw ever again since it was just sitting there for around almost 4 months... very unhappy this is not the shop for bmw transmission repairs if you dont know how to work on bmws then dont accept german cars...horrible service.....

I will give an honest review for those thinking of using the services here. On Friday, February 15th, 2019, Ive brought my car to Texas Transmission because my transmission was leaking. First of all, Raul was very professional in dealing with me from the get go. He gave me different options on how to fix or replace my damaged transmission on my 2013 Kia Rio. I went with the cheapest option since money is very tight and I dont make much money. Raul, clearly stated to me that it will be ready on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019. Ive called on Tuesday and to my disappointment, my car was not ready, but Raul told me it will be ready on Wednesday. I personally visited the shop on Wednesday and spoke to Tony and another mechanic. They told me it was still not ready and that they are working on it. So finally, Raul gave me a call and told me it was ready for pick up on Thursday, February 21st, 2019. Mind you, I have only one car. Ive had to use Uber/Lyft to get to everywhere. So on Wednesday and Thrusday, Ive had to shell out around $50 to use Uber/Lyft to get to work and get back to home. Ive explained this to Tony and he didnt want to hear none of it. He said it wasnt their responsibility for my financial needs. He failed to understand if my car was ready on time on Tuesday I would not have incurred additional transportation cost. I did ask for a little discount and it was immediately rejected by Tony. I do not feel Ive received excellent customer service from Texas Transmission Repair. I wish they would understand more from a customers point of view how their cars are important to them and how it affects their daily lives. Raul, if you say a car will be done at a certain date, please deliver on that date. Please be a man of your word. $1300 may not be a lot of money to you guys, but it is to me. I hope this used transmission youve put in my car last a while. But I want to finish this out with a positive note because I try to be a positive person. Thank you for replacing my transmission. Had originally given a 5 star review but now have to retract that review based on new information. My transmission that was rebuilt by them 2 years ago failed while out of town. Broke it down and pulled the transmission to fix it. I find 2 bellhousing/engine bolts not more than hand tight. I discovery very quickly that this isnt my transmission (unique identifying marks mysteriously vanished). It was replaced with another rebuilt unit where as it was supposed to be my unit rebuilt. Further more my bell housing bolts were all ruined upon being reinstalled and had to pass it off to my master mechanic to fix who had to weld nuts onto the bolts to remove the bell housing from the transmission. Torque converter was likely out of my old unit but I cant prove that. Im now replacing a torque converter and oil pump 2 years after their shotty work. For 1500+ I should expect that I get a proper rebuild in better time than I could do it myself. What I got was a half-assed rebuild that I would have been better off doing myself or buying a remanufactured transmission. I will not be using Texas transmission for any further work on my vehicle. Their lack of care is costing me an additional $1000 in tools, parts and fluids and this doesnt include the time Ive lost to working on it. Would have been another 1500-2200 had I taken it somewhere this time but I learned that lesson already.
