If you own a Honda, THIS is where you need to take your car. I had a Honda dealership tell me that my A/C compressor was bad and it would cost around $2,000. I knew I wanted to get a second opinion, and I knew that Marshall was the guy for just that. He is honest, hard working, and unbelievably detailed in his trade. It just so happened that my 2016 compressor was fine, and it was a couple leaky valves that needed to be replaced. He saved me well over $1,000. Its so hard to find people like Marshall, with an honest shop like his. Wish I would have found him years ago. Highly recommend all around!

Marshall and the crew are so good at what they do. Being a car enthusiast Im picky about who works on my familys cars and they do excellent transparent work and are able to diagnose problems very well.For instance my wifes MDX had a steering wheel vibration that would not go away even with multiple efforts from other shops. A couple places said they fixed the issue and it wasnt any better. Brought it in to Hondew and I got it back running like it was brand new but had over 100k miles. I highly recommend them if youre a Honda or Acura owner and want your vehicle to feel as close to factory maintained as possible without paying dealer prices.The last thing I have enjoyed about having our vehicle maintained with Hondew is that they dont do superfluous repairs or replacements if they determine its not needed.

I have a 2014 Honda accord, I had my 100k mileage timing belt and sown other work done. Marshall is super knowledgeable and him and his team did great work. I would definitely only let him and his crew do work on my Honda!

When I went in to get an oil change, he mentioned some extra items I should keep in mind since folks are coming in less often due to covid and driving less. That attention to detail is priceless! Marshall, what a man. Took care of a stranded out-of-towner, priority service, communications. He did not take advantage of me like so many others would in that situation. In the end, I felt like I took advantage of him. Good Samaritan. Total respect.

Was interested in this business due to it being a Honda specific shop. First thing, they never specified on the website that they dont service pre - 1996. Second receptionist had a complete attitude whenever I told him my Honda was pre 96 and slammed the phone. Obviously cant work on vehicles that dont have OBD 2 LOL. horrible employees / mechanics dont take your Hondas or vehicles here.

Marshall was very nice to a woman with questions and a senior besides.We live about 45 minutes away in heavy traffic and he had the Element checked out and estimate by the time we arrived home. It was finished by 10 30 the next day. What a great place. He also had it checked from front to back to make sure it was safe for my 83 yo husband for his lunch trips.

Marshal and his team are great. I live in Frisco and will not go anywhere else. I hope I dont need them in the future, but if I do I will only take my Acura to these fine men.

Excellent repair shop. Ive taken my Honda accords here since 1992. They have saved me a lot of money over the years that a dealership would have otherwise stolen. They diagnosed and fixed a friends Acura fuel relay problem that multiple dealerships couldnt solve.

I went to get service on my honda civic on 2 separate occasions. Great service, staff is upfront and honest. They do their best to get you the best price. Thought i had ignition issues on my honda but i was told that there was nothing wrong with the car and didnt get charged. Honesty like that is hard to come by these day. This shop continues to be a great place to go. Dependable and professional. They do such a thorough and complete job without prompting--its comforting to know your car is in the right place. I do the majority of the work on my car b/c its old and it would cost a fortune if I didnt. That said, sometimes I get over my head-I recently did a lot of suspension work but was flummoxed as I had a tremendous grinding and clicking noise when I was done. I had literally put in something close to 20 hours over several weeks and I was cooked when I had it towed to Hondew. Marshall and his guys found the problem in about 2 hrs, fixed and it and made sure I had the needed alignment-something I knew I needed, couldnt do myself and had neglected to ask for. The cost was super reasonable and something I was glad to pay as I had been told by 3 mobile places that they didnt want to take the job on and I was ghosted by a 4th. They were afraid to take it on and Hondew took it all in stride. So grateful for a place like this. If youve got a Honda or Acura dont go anyplace else.

The Hondew shop on Floyd Circle just north of 635 is a Honda specific repair shop. Ive owned two Hondas the past and the Hondew shop was the only place I took them for repairs. Its a little bit of a drive to get to, but totally worth it for the Peace of Mind Ive having great repairs at a reasonable price from people that you can trust. There were a few times when other mechanics told me that I needed a repair and I take it to Marshall at Hondew and he examined my car and told me that everything was fine. The repairs werent always inexpensive, but I always felt that I was getting value for what I paid and I never had to go back a second time to get something worked on. I could trust that the repair was done right the first time and my car wasnt going to let me down.

Repaired my Honda Accord for $800 less than it would have cost at a dealership. Manager was really helpful and respectful, and talked me through what their diagnosis was and what work was needed. They also are good about not up selling, even letting me know that there was another slight problem they could fix, but letting me know that it probably wasnt worth the money I would have to throw at the problem. Definitely will be going back here for repairs in the future.

Did the work I requested on my Acura TSX wagon. Work was done when they said, for the price they quoted. Marshall was very straightforward to deal with, and prices are comparable to other independent shops. Would definitely use them again.

I have been bringing my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid to this shop since the extended warranty ran out (around 2011). I have always received great service at about half the price of the dealer. They use genuine Honda oil and parts. Most of the mechanics are Honda certified (many having worked at Honda dealers previously).. Marshall is very knowledgeable and spots trouble areas before they become a major problem. Even when I buy a new Honda, I will bring it here!

I have a 2000 Honda Civic with over 180,000 miles on it. I had taken it to various places to find out what was wrong with it and they kept charging me and nothing was fixed. I took it here they told me what it was (it was little more than what other shops quoted me but they used Honda parts) well it was been 8 months and no more problems. I hate I wasted money at all these other shops. I am happy to pay a good price for reliable and dependable service.

I own a 2008 Honda Civic that has had tricky AC problems for years. These guys diagnosed the issues right in front of me over the course of a couple of minutes and subsequently repaired my vehicle in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend this place.

Had my 04 Acura MDX with 128k miles serviced - Valve Adjustment was performed at a very reasonable price and I can definitely tell the difference; they did a great job (motor sounds so much better). I was even provided specifics on which valves were problematic. Will definitely be back for any additional work and I recommend Marshal and his team.

This shop is trash. They will put your car on the street of not working on it where it could possibly be towed by the city. I received a parking ticket and car towed because the owner Marshall out car on the street. Then he didnt even call me about the car being towed. I called to come get the car to be informed it was towed and had been in the pound for 24hrs already. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

My son is in Dallas working the summer as a College Intern and noticed a strange noise coming from his 2001 Honda Accord. We quickly researched shops near him and found Hondew. My son took his car by today and they did a free check and found nothing wrong. Rather than just start replacing parts these guys did the honest thing and checked out his car and told him to come back if the sound returns (no charge). My son will definitely bring his car back if the sound returns and we will update this review. These days its hard to find good honest auto repair shops, but it looks like Hondew Shop is one.
