Prices a tad high even for a consignment shop. Although if you are looking for the right aesthetic and dont want to drive to 100+ thrift stores/antique shops to find it, this place is extremely helpful. Very cool retro items and interesting finds. Cool furniture, and some great talking pieces. Great place for home decor / interior decorating finds. Type of place were everything is cool, no junk. Decent vinyl selection and the guy sitting at the front seemed nice. Browsed and left empty handed but will certainly be back, and would recommend to someone looking for this type of stuff.

Im not sure if the lady with the black eyeliner out to there is an owner, manager, or what, but she looks totally weird. She also got huffy when I asked the price of an unmarked item. Excuse me, lady, this is a store. We need to know what the vendors are charging. Ill save my money for better shopping experiences.

This store is amazing! Just setting foot in the building is like stepping back in time, and the most fun I’ve had in a long time!! The staff was engaging and very helpful. One of the best experiences I’ve had in an Antiques mall/vintage shop I’ve ever had! There’s one vendor that has amazing custom painted furniture!! From what I was told she does custom at very reasonable price! I will be contacting her in the very near future!

I am really DISAPPOINTED with the NEGATIVITY and HOSTILITY expressed to me and my little girls by the owners. I worked retail for many years and I realize dealing with the public is not always easy. I really strive to be a good customer, establish relationships and really support businesses, especially small businesses. Unfortunately...We had driven by many times and finally took a moment to go in. We found several items we LOVED and wanted to purchase. We are redecorating our home and I planned to bring my husband back for possible larger purchases. I left with nothing, but a feeling I had been ganged up on and confused at why a merchant would be so openly hostile to a potential customer. My 7 1/2 year old Montessori schooled daughter touched a stuffed animal at the front of the store and came to me a bit upset because she was told to leave it there in a sharp and angry tone by the female owner. I asked my daughter if she were being careful and respectful with what she had touched. She said, yes. But the way the woman had said it made her feel bad. We continued to shop and went to the front of the store to look at some other toys. The female owner then snapped at me that the toys were her childs and not for sale- I now saw for myself what my daughter experienced. WHAT she said was understandable, HOW she said it (with surprising and misplaced hostility) to potential customers was a bit shocking. As she turned away, she shook her head and rolled her eyes. Trying to understand her actions I said, are you shaking your head at me? She said no, but again her body language and tone were still hostile. I then asked her why she didnt just ask my daughter nicely to put back the toy. She said she did but then continued to escalate, raising her voice, squinting her eyes, flipping her hair. She said, I have a child that age. I know how to talk to kids. Why would I talk to your kids in a bad way?, etc. This felt like a complete over reaction to a simple question posed by a CUSTOMER. I responded that judging from how negative and irate she was being with me, I dont doubt my childs experience. I shared I didnt feel like that was how you treated customers, in fact, that isnt how you treat another human. The male owner then raised his voice, she didnt say anything wrong and you need to leave the store. And then as I was walking away to gather my girls, he said that is what happens when you dont keep your kids with you. (So now Im being punished???)First, my daughter was with me the majority of the time in the store except for the few moments she admired and touched a stuffed dog that was for sale in the store. Secondly, when a customer simply asks for what happened, especially with a young child, it might be wise to just calmly answer the question and try to clarify and come to a peaceful understanding. ANY kind of conciliatory comment or gesture would have send me happily purchasing (and recommending) as I first intended.I gathered my girls and as we left I shared with the owners how unfortunate I thought this situation was because I really did want to support them by buying from them. More combative behavior. They even turned it on me as they YELLED at me that I was the one being hostile and volatile. I let them know I would be writing a review to reflect my experience. The female owner said she would be ready for it. Who knows what kind of response I will get for sharing this. As my children and I exited, the male owner commented on what a terrible example I was setting for my children.Berated, ganged up on, yelled at, my character questioned, all because I simply and calmly questioned the actions of a grown woman business owner in an attempt to get a come to peaceful understanding, so that I could support her business.I so wish this werent the case. Very unfortunate.

Me and my two roommates visited and found the store clean, friendly and the staff quite fun to talk to! One of my roommates (someone who went to a Montessori school btw, so hes quite qualified to say), thought that there were a number of pieces that were interesting. Everything was well labeled and sectioned out nicely, each vendor having very cool products. It was well conditioned and was a bit of a relief from the hot day, and the owner was quite pleasant to speak with! Will for sure want to go back and buy something. :)

If you are on the hunt for cool vintage items from jewelry, records, housewares, magazines, coffee tables, couches and other soft goods...without being ripped off on ridiculous mark ups (such as places on Riverfront/ Irving Blvd) go to Top Drawer! Family run, with a huge selection of well curated booths, ample parking in front you can find yourself spending a good half a day there enjoying shopping the variety of styles and eras of the items they offer. Regular there since 2014

This was not the store I expected. However, I was very pleased with this treasure we found! Everything reminded me of my childhood and all of the amazing decor from back in the day! This place is also color coordinated. I was lucky to find a classic Neiman Marcus pin (with the actual name engraved on it). What a gem!

I came to this store about a 18 months ago & found some really great items reasonably priced. I was excited to find and MCM antique store that actually had fair prices. Unfortunately, Ive been there a few times over the last several months and walked out empty handed. It seems the vendors have gone the way of the many Design District antique stores and started overpricing. They still have cute stuff, but the prices keep me from buying. :(

Top drawer antiques is a quaint little shop tucked away in a unassuming spot on northwest hwy. It has alot of nice furniture and nick-nacks and things from the past that are in very good condition. If your looking for a good piece of furniture at a lower than wholesale price this is the spot for you. I bought a nice oak headboard and rails and paid less than $100 bucks. Good deals and nice stuff to be had

Definitely slanted towards the 1950s through 80s. A fair amount of consignment lots, many with firm prices that seem...ambitious. Overall, a typical antique store - whether a given item is trash or treasure depends largely on your point of view...

Loved poring through every booth here to find some gems! Very spacious, clean, with lots of variety by booth. Limited selection of metal tins (what I was looking for), but still managed to walk away with this retro looking boomerang dish that I didnt need, but couldnt pass up for $6. I still dont know what to do with it. One mans clutter is another mans clutter. Love it!

This place is beyond words! Walking through the doors of Top Drawer was like stepping back in time. They have such a wide verity of items, but it is obvious that they are known for and love their Mid Century and Danish Modern home decor and furniture. (Which didnt hurt my feelings a bit!) They had some of the most beautiful painted furniture I had ever seen, and needless to say most of us have seen a ton! But this was all so different and gourgous! When I say this store had it all, I mean they had it ALL!! Western decor, sports & movie memorabilia, art, paint, handmade candles and bath products, jewelry, furniture, fabric, vintage clothing, shoes & hats for guys and girls, purses, Pyrex, records, light fixtures and lamps, vintage toys and barbies, planters with airplants and aloe, metal and neon signs, taxidermy mounts, Art Deco furniture, one of a kind and handmade items, I could go on forever with all the stuff they have under one roof, and everything was reasonably priced considering the quality! I have never in my life used this term, but it was seriously like being a kid in a candy store. From the moment I hit the door, I was greeted with a warm welcome (by who I later fiund out were the owners.) They were so warm and inviting you couldnt help but feel at home. They were beyond willing to help anyone with any questions they may have had. I actually iver heard them telling another lady that was in at the same time, that they are a family owned and operated business and have been in business for themselves in this location for 2 years so on and so forth. Then the women who owned the place said something that really caught my attention. The women in which she was talking to kept saying what a wonderful place she had, and how she had such wonderful taste in such a wide verity etc. The owner genuinely and very heartfelt, kept telling her... We appreciate that! But we cant take the credit! We have been really and truly extremely blessed with amazing vendors! We are nothing without them! They have made this place what you see! Each individual that rents a space goes out and hunts each of these pieces down, cleans them up, breaths new life into them, and brings them here. We may be the owners of Top Drawer but each and every one of our vendors and customers have made us who we are. Mind you, she wasnt even speaking to me directly and it struck a cord. She was so humble and wanted no credit for being the mastermind and/or creator if you will of such an amazing place for all of these vendors to have a creative outlet. It was just an amazing comment I thought I needed to share. Everyone working was so helpful without being overbearing or pushy. They are honest, knowledgeable and run one of the coolest places Ive ever been! After walking around getting lost in the aisles for who know how long, I ended up with a handful of treasures I couldnt leave without and had to leave a few behind until next time. I have a feeling this place has become my home away from home, and may have to buy stock in the company to support my new found addiction! I will be telling everyone I know about this place and Im sure some people I dont. I cant wait for my next visit!
