This was a mini Quick fix, lol. “I want something British”, and got a friendly guy to assist too. He has a variety of other foods from different places. I purchased some Cadbury’s chocolates, couple of Lucozades, some meat pies and bacon. If you like Bombay mix, try the Tropical Heat Chevro, it’s a good substitute for the Brit. version.

Be careful to check your receipt before leaving the store. Prices are not on the items and the rude gentleman guesses prices as you check out. I paid $19 for an item last week, same item was $27 this week. That wasnt enough, he warned me, never to come back with a credit card because he will charge me extra because he has to pay the credit card company. My bill was $61 and he was threatening to add costs. He lost a customer today. Sausage rolls were old and stale. Would not recommend this store. Food inspectors need to pay him a visit.

We went in so excited and purchased items off the shelves in memory of what we grew up eating. When we started checking out the clerk rang up a higher price for the biscuits/ cookies and when we corrected him he clarified that 2 are a different lower price and not all 3. So how did he know that, yet still charge us a higher price for the items. That’s the clerk in the picture. Don’t take advantage of people that enjoy what you sell or they will find somewhere else to go due to losing trust in your business.

The man cheats and charges higher price for items. Items are also soon to expire. I went last year and he played a numbers game. I stopped going and decided to give him another chance. This has to stop. I’m reporting you to the authorities. Keep playing this time we’re going to record it with microscopic cameras and hand you over to the police. I went as I decided to go to an actual store. I only ever shop at the cape grocer or braaitime. You have been warned. Go there at your own peril.

Always great being able to get a little taste of home when you’re so far away. I do wish their prices wouldn’t be as high however sometimes you overlook that just to be reminded of home.Their selection I feel could add a little more local foods/meats vs all the candy.

This neighborhood community store is one of the best in the North Dallas and Richardson area. It is well kept, very clean and the manager Kevin is always pleasant and treats everyone with respect. They represent the community very well. Everyone should stop in and give them your business. You wont regret it.

If only these chocolate that are so expensive where edible. Not expired but when you open them they are paper white and taste like crap. Spent $120.49 and had to open all the flake and other chocolates to make sure they were okay. Told the owner and he said that he a chocolate that was 2 year old and it tasted fine. Total idiot. Ended up throwing 52.49 in the trash. DONT BUY CHOCOLATES from here, what a waste of money!
