I usually don’t post ratings but I had to honestly because of an employee named Sam. She went above and beyond for my dad, whose first language is not English but she took the time and had the patience to make sure my dad had all his questions answered and all the assistance he needed regardless of the language barrier . That is something that I am so grateful and appreciative of!

I have been using Public storage for many years, both long term and short term. The staff has always been helpful. Ellie on Minnieville rd has always gone above and beyond in customer service. She has been very professional and helpful. I give only 4 stars instead of 5 because the property manager. They raise the rates often with little notice (even if youve been a good paying, long term customer) and, if you need to make a payment by phone they charge 20. Dollars for each payment...yes, TWENTY DOLLARS to make a payment over the phone for EACH transaction!

I’ve been a customer at this location since 2011, and I’ve had no issues with any of the units I’ve kept my belongs in. Tierra was able to assist and answer questions regarding the differences in units and which would better benefit me and my family. Great customer service and I feel comfortable leaving my items at this site/Public Storage. Highly recommended this place if you are in need of a place to store your items.

Easy check in process. Did most of it online. Ellie called to confirm a good check in time. When I go to the office Ellie explained feature of the facility, and showed me the unit. We noticed the floor was a little dirty and Ellie said she would sweep clean the unit before I move in a few hours later. Also made sure my code to the gate worked. Very easy process overall.

Great facility. Great options. Great people working. So happy all of my belongings are being taken care of by this public storage. Would recommend

Kept going up on the rent but never fixed up the property couldn’t justify the increase in rent . Place is falling apart. I moved to a better and cleaner space, less money unit is climate controlled and they have military discount. The only good thing about public storage was the two young ladies that works in the office.

I been renting unit at this property for 9 years today. I came in to the office with a question. To my surprise I was told Happy Anniversary with public storage. Sweet lady in the office Shachi noticed the date and wished and thanked me for being a loyal customer. I am very happy with property, management and location. I have been using this facility for over ten years. Derrick and Karen are the main reasons I always come to this site when I need storage space. They have always been personable, friendly, professional and just extremely great people. I have had a chance to work with Raquel and Cann, who are long-time employees and I can say the same about them. Though I am moving from the area in a few months Im glad I have always had this facility to come to. My experiences have been absolutely excellent. These folks are the best.

I got a place here. I had a lot of trouble with a facility closer to my house so I made the decision to go a little farther and I’m really glad I did! The service was very good and I’m overall extremely pleased with my experience.

I came into the Dale City location the other day and the young lady who helped me named Tasha was very polite and helpful. She was also very knowledgeable. We could use a lot more customer service people like that in the world!

Tierra was very helpful with helping me pick out supplies that i needed to protect my furniture while moving. Clean property and great customer service!

The first employee, Stephanie, I worked with was very strange. First she told us that she hadnt worked there long enough to know what the first month $1 was and then called me a week and some change later to tell me she messed up the contract. When I asked about the $1 dollar and recapped what she had previously told us, she told me, that is a lie I never said that. Then proceeded to tell me that the first month was free but then added all kinds of charges onto the cost equaling almost $90.00. One of which being a lock she added for over $20.00. She never asked me if I needed a lock and did not tell me she was charging me for one. Just handed it to me. I have multiple of my own locks and now am stuck with another that they wont buy back or refund me for. In fact, she did didnt go over a single piece of anything with us and just told me to sign where. So needless to say I was extremely upset by the time I got off the phone. She had scheduled for me to come in so they could fix the contract, but when I showed up no one was there, the door was locked, and there was no sign on the door. I waited as long as I could for someone to return before I eventually had to leave for work, which can be confirmed on their security cameras. Then about another week and a half later another employee called me asking me to come in to fix the contract but didnt tell me who he was calling from and didnt explain what he was talking about. Nor could I understand him through his very thick accent. After we finally sorted that out, he informed me that although Im moving on the last day of the month, if Im not moved out by the end of their business hours of 5pm, that I will be charged for an entire month more. Over $100 dollars more. This is not a company that I will ever recommend to anyone else and I will never use them again. Terrible service. Very deceptive and devious.
