Very nice staff!! This store is very clean and organized. They also have an amazing BBQ section. I recommend trying Papa Bruces BBQ sauce from here.

A standard home and hardware store, more akin to a mom and pop shop. I visit here out of convenience, but I prefer a less crowded home improvement store. You can always find an employee to ask for help, but more often theyre proactive in providing you with help. Its so nice to not wander aimlessly for 20 minutes hoping to find an employee for help. Prices are competitive. I would give 5 stars but they dont always have a good selection, but at least you wont spend 20 minutes looking for something before you learn they dont have, or dont know what your looking for.

I always prefer ACE over Home Depot or Lowes just because of their customer service! Its local, easy to find a parking spot and i am in and out with what i need in less then 5 minutes!! The most friendliest staff in town! LOVE IT!! LOYAL ACE CUSTOMER!!

Dont know why this is called Dale City Hardware its got a big sign over it that says Ace Pitkins Hardware, but this is a small home improvement hardware store. Friendly professional staff, store location is older and has a little bit of everything. Quaint and comfy

The facility is a refreshing experience of the personal service and aid from the local, family-owned hardware stores of yesteryear and in great contrast to the impersonal big box outlets. Their prices are either less expensive or comparable to the big box, but the personal service and knowledge cannot be compared. Tyler is super and is very knowledgable of the technologies and the ins and outs, and is a great asset to Dale City Hardware. Good work!!

Yesterday afternoon I went into the Dale City Ace Hardware looking for a gasket for my lawnmower carburetor. I asked a young man for help and he confirmed that they did not have what I needed, but he thought for a moment and offered me a solution. He walked me to a different part of the store and suggested Form a Gasket Sealant. It worked perfectly! Even if it had not worked, I appreciate that he took a moment and actually tried to help me and that he had enough product knowledge to do so. Who knows, maybe this young man will be your next Doug Deem. Thank you!

We stop here for a quick purchaseWe need a bag of conkrette in and out and the item it is located outside it was little difficult to select because some of the bag was solid like a rock already ha ha ha ha but we got what we need very fast

The neighborhood hardware store is a rare thing these days. Those big box stores can make it hard for the smaller stores. Dale City Hardware, Pitkins to those of us who have been here a long time, has managed to survive by having the things people need and also the things you dont always find in those warehouses. Always helpful and friendly, next time you need something and you dont feel like driving over to the Potomac Mills area to get it, check here first. Theres a lot in this store and it may take a few trips for you to take it all in!

They are extremely helpful and well priced. We always go in and find things we didnt know we were looking for. Their back section for grilling and smoking meats has helped my husband w his new smoker. They have a wide variety of rubs that has been interesting in expanding our pallets.

Ordered three of an item online for pick up at this store. The item was marked as in stock, and my order was confirmed as ready for pick up the next day. After driving nearly an hour on my day off to the store, I get told they are out of stock even though they confirmed the items were ready for pick up. So Im out 2 hours of my day and $8 in gas for nothing. Its this lack of care about customers that is killing off brick and mortar stores.

I really like this hardware store. Unfortunately my score reflects an event during my last visit.I approached the register to pay, the checker helping was great. I had to go back to one of the aisles where I dropped something. When I returned to the register to finish up, the manager(?) was standing there berating the checker that I was working with. I believe that the language used was not appropriate and honestly quite toxic. I am pretty sure I got default language since the manager didnt know I was standing there waiting to finish up with the checker.I cringe at the thought of my young adult offspring getting this kind of treatment. Seems like a toxic environment for employees.

Anything from large purchases and home projects to something as trivial as finding a handful of nuts and bolts for a simple repair - the staff here is always quick to help and do so with a smile. Dwayne was the most polite, respectful, cheerful person I have encountered in customer service in over 30 years. I shop ACE often mostly because of the customer service and great products. I also have met Sarah who is an owner of the store and she has always been kind and supportive of the community here in Dale City. GREAT people!! I HIGHLY recommend shopping there.

My #1 stop. Absolutely the most customer friendly and resourceful hardware store I have visited in 35 years. If it exists, these folks can get it for you! They provide products and service the “big” hardware stores just don’t have. If there was a sixth star, I would have given it to them.

Said that another table got our food by MISTAKE and they remade our dinners..I cant help but wonder if they just reheated those dinners delivered to another table after those people complained it wasnt their orders..then found out they were ourdinners and gave them to us after our food was in front of some other customers. I had a pretty simple question that even the electrician couldnt answer. So I googled the answer and found the correct step down power cable. When I asked again, I was given a rude response.I like the store because its close and usually its really knowledgable, but it wasnt a good experience at my last time going.

The epitome of local hardware store. Getting used to seeing the same faces as they have a friendly and helpful staff. A little pricier than your big box stores, but worth it for the ease of access. I also feel the staff they have on the floor is going to be far more knowledgeable than your average Lowes Depot grunt.

Still a bustling, good place for your household needs. They have all in&out narrowed to one entrance, patrons are encouraged to wear masks, and most do. If youre looking for cleaning agents theyre still a little bare, but thats more the manufacturers fault these days. Stay safe!

The staff know what theyre talking about. They dont just read the product label for you. They typically have actual experience and are helpful with installation info or solutions to problems. Store has a multitude of interesting and useful items making it a fun place to meander through. You can also pick up gift ideas (statuary, garden decor, etc).

Small and a bit pricey (compared to Lowes or Walmart), but it has a wide range of items.

This is my favorite hardware shop. For being as small as they are, they still manage to pack so much in! The customer service is second to none, the prices are reasonable, and the overall shopping experience has always been great. Also, theyre one of the few places I know that have an amazing selection of coal and wood for grilling!

I enjoy supporting my local businesses so the slightly higher prices over say lowes or home depot are acceptable to me. Unlike the big box hardware stores the wait to check out is minimal and the entire floor staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. I also never have to go hunting for assistance.
