Tough 4This camera is simply the best rugged camera you can buy. It beats all its competitors and is simply amazing when it comes to taking pictures. Its extremely rugged, (Ive used this camera on days that the temperature is below zero with no problems) the lens doesnt fog if put into cold water on a hot day, (even with the rapid temperature change) and of course, it is shock proof & dust proof. I threw this camera down a sand hill (that was completely scattered with rocks) to a friend below, the camera nailed some of the rocks and went through a lot of sand (obviously) but when it reached the bottom my friend picked it up and it turned on fine. No sand in the inside (only some around the lens where the ring cap is, canned air does a great job of taking care of any sand) the only way you could tell that it had just flown down a 100+ foot sand/rock hill was some scratches. For me, a few scratches arent the end of the world and after going over rocks and through sand the only damage was some scratches. This camera is amazing and it would be pretty difficult to wreck it. It also performs great in water. The Macro-Mode on this camera will blow your mind. If all else fails to impress you (which I highly doubt) there is no way you can use the Macro-Mode without being impressed. This camera is great and I strongly, very strongly, suggest you buy it if youre looking for an action camera that can take everything you put it through.
