Ive dealt with other trailer places and this is my go to now. A little pricey when comparing, but overall worth it if you want local customer service.I am not an easy customer to deal with. I want to be involved and know everything going on when it comes to my property and money spent.Wow did they deal with me amazingly! If a miss understanding happened, bamb, the understood, fixed it, and moved on! Now my trailer is like new with upgrades and all.Thanks to everyone at Shadow trailer for dealing with my high maintenance self!

Unless you have a major project, Shadow does not want to bother with you. I needed a vent replaced on the top of my enclosed trailer. Was told a number of times just how busy they were and couldn’t do it for up to a week. They also suggested two other places that could maybe help me sooner. The week time frame was not an issue and word was they did great work and they were only two blocks from my house….never got the initial call back on Monday as promised. Went back again Tuesday and again they suggested I could go somewhere else if I was in a hurry. I was told an estimated cost of $40-50 for the vent and half hour labor to install it. Sounded ok…However, the owner Fritz happened to be there and his quote for the part was higher and installation time jumped up to a couple hours. It was obvious my business was too minimal and unimportant for them to bother. Carol was very nice and very helpful, but, Shadow didn’t want to waste their time with my minor project. Very disappointing after what I’d heard about them.

I needed a rotor/hub, calipers & o-rings for my Ranger Trail trailer. Carol went above & beyond to get me the correct parts & get it out to me in a timely manner. They saved my weekend for me. In the days of less & less customer service Shadow Trailers shined bright. Carol is an asset and was a pleasure to do business with.

I damaged my brakes actuator in my trailer. I went online and ordered a replacement part from Shadow Trailers, with 2 day air shipping and the total price would be cheaper than the one offered by Amazon! The piece arrived in just 2 days. This is the first time I order anything from these guys, but defiantly will do it again whenever I need anything for any of my trailers.

I called to get pricing and availability on some trailer parts. Carol helped me out and she was AMAZING. she told me that their shipments are behind and will not have the part for the next few days but gave me parts numbers and info for other places i could find the parts. I also mentioned that it was for a water application and she made other recommendations based off of that so i get something that will not be damaged by constant exposure to water. I will be coming back here for all of my trailer needs

I just ordered a Titan Model 10 and 20 Drum Actuator from Shadow Trailers today and I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the people were, especially Carol who took my order. This part was backordered from the factory since the first of the year and I was unable to get it from any local sources, but Shadow Trailers actually had (1) left in there stock and they made sure that it was marked for me! Ordered a part from them on 5/22 which was schedule to deliver to me on 5/29. On 5/28 I contacted them because of no tracking updates via UPS. They promised me it would deliver on 5/29. It did not deliver. UPS rescheduled to 6/3. I contacted them again to see if they could help. They said for sure UPS would deliver on 6/3. UPS did not deliver on 6/3. Rescheduled again to 6/5 (14 days after order). This was too late for me. To return my part to Shadow they are deducting what they say was the original cost of shipping (shipping was free at my order amount >$100). Poor customer service, not helpful, did not disclose in returns policy that un-published shipping costs would be deducted on a return.

Go see Fritz when you need trailer work. The professional approach and guidance from Fritz was outstanding. He answered all my questions and did what he said he would do. Honest and quick. Thanks Team Shadow.

This company does build nice trailers but Does not care how they treat your property I havent taken my boat out in 4 years because of the damage I received after this company built me a new trailer I would not have them Build me Dog House

I called for help to schedule trailer maintenance, I was told Fritz would be happy to call back because he was with a customer. 24 hours later I called back, he was busy again. Super nice Lady apologized deeply felt bad. Another 24 hours passed with no call. I called back because they didnt bother to help me. Needless to say, Ricks Trailer in San Clemente helped me right away and Im scheduled for maintenance. Bummer bad service travels fast.

I went in for a grease cap and the nice lady at the front desk was more than welcoming to help me find what I need. Jaime, one of their workers was also a great help. Everything was going good until I met the owner. Somehow it was a mix up and they went ahead and installed the cap for me out of kindness I believe. I was talking with the owner about his German Shepard and he began fussing at the lady about installing the cap. I dont think it was her fault and she was very helpful. Maybe check your management style and skills to do this after a customer has left. Now I feel bad for this nice lady being scolded over 10 bucks. Thank you for the great customer service 5 stars there and 2 stars for the owner. He wouldnt even tell me his name. Poor management. 😐

Great shop for your trailer needs. Fritz was able to beat internet pricing for my 5th wheel trailer tires and his staff installed them in no time. While I waited, the office staff was engaging and couldnt go farther out of their way to help me. This is now my go-to trailer shop!

The parts guy is very knowledgeable and the price is reasonable .

Sold me a trailer lift for my boat, came in after a few days and appeared opened prior to receiving it. I called for the simple reason i was sold something which did not fit my boat trailer nor would work and had obviously been opened before i got it...Not accusing anyone but, i did call to report both the fit and the package received previously sold. Very politely was asked to return which i did on my dime. They did not offer to pay, there was my mistake, they now claim unit was scratched, and are giving a hard time to issue me full credit after spending $40 to ship it back. They want to shift the responsibility to UPS for credit...I will see what happens and either retract this or leave it up as a warning.....No one called me back day one and left two messages with Jeannie or Jamie.keep you posted

We’ve owned custom trailers before and can say that this is the best trailer quality I’ve ever seen. High quality welding, incomparable materials and a staff that goes above and beyond the call of duty.

My boat trailer needed all kinds of parts. Went to Shadow Trailers and talked to the owner and some of the service guys. They walked me through everything I needed. The best part is they had everything in stock at great prices. I replaced the wheel bearings, disk brakes, brake lines, actuator, lights and wheels. They had it all and prices compared to the lowest on the internet. The front office folks were great too.

Great place went to the shop had all the parts I needed in stock at a fair price. Boat trailer was back on the road that day. If your in the area dont hesitate to go buy they probably have what you need in stock..

Ordered UFP parts for my boat trailer. They were priced right, fit perfectly and shipped to me in Canada reasonably and incredibly quick!

We bought our boat and trailer 2nd hand and we were amazed at the looks of it at first then traveling down the road we were amazed at the weight disbursement, could not feel it behind us. The best buy weve ever done.

Ordered the wrong part. Sent back. Called and told I forgot the paperwork in the return box. they said not a problem. After a month of no contact. Would not acknowledge the return. Although Amazon shows it. And would not refund or ship back. Basically stole the $130 in hope I would not notice. In my opinion. Do not do business with them. Terrible customer service.

I needed some parts and I ordered online, after finishing my order I called them and ask them to ship it fast since I was not able to use my trailer and within 30 minutes I got my order confirmation and tracking number, they could not be any nicer, Thank you

Dont buy from these guys if you live on the east coast. First, they dont have great prices and they use the cheapest delivery method so youll have to wait 8-9 days from when you order. If you call their customer service, they tell youthats the way it is and if the item you ordered is delivered broken or defective, you have to pay the shipping back.

Very poor attention to detail, worked with Fritz and Shadow Trailers for over a month to design and order a custom jet ski trailer to replace an existing trailer, sent dozens of photos, exchanged emails, quoted me a price over $10k, thought it was high but he assured me the trailer would be awesome, gave my deposit and was quoted 60 days to build, Fritz called me 45 days later and told me they were starting my trailer and asked so what are we doing, that should have been my first clue this was going to go wrong, after reminding him of the photos and emails, he said he had this and they would start building,, six weeks later he sends me pictures of the completed trailer, the color was not silver that I requested originally, it was white, somehow the color was changed and on the final contract and it was white and I missed it, Fritz said he noticed the discrepancy but figured I knew what I was doing so they powder coated it white anyway. Fritz had also taken the liberty to change the design of the trailer in case you want to add another Sea Doo in the future I told him I was not happy with the trailer, every issue I pointed out to him he either turned around on me or he would just say its a great trailer, youre going to love it Fritz was completely dismissive and made zero attempt to resolve any concerns. In the end he threatened to lien sale the trailer if I did not pick it up. I had a transport company deliver the trailer to me, the trailer already had rust around the stainless hardware, the mounting bunks were wrong, the design of the storage box was wrong, where his staff riveted the aluminum panels to the top box they did not even hit the metal studs, the rivets were loose. Instead of using one solid 8 aluminum panel for the top they used 2 4 footers, so there is a seam in the middle. I immediately had to modify the trailer, cutting and welding and painting so that it would work for me. I had to spend close to $4k to make the trailer work for me.I have had the trailer for a while now, and waiting to write this review, The basic frame work and axles are nice, and the trailer tows well, but the attention to detail was very poor, and I did not feel that I received the value for what I was charged.
