I go to this safeway between 11 pm and 1 am on regular basis. The bakery here has awesome French bread and sourdough fresh baked every morning. The guys filling the shelves late night are always helpful and courteous. Checkers are usually in good mood and the shelves are always stocked. Excellent selection of produce ad well. Love this safeway.

Overall a good experience, but they refused to vaccinate my avocados. Seems like false advertising.

This 3 ⭐️review is specifically for their self-checkout counters and the rep managing it.I would give 4-5⭐️for other aspects of this store.They have 6 self-checkout counters. Invariably 2 are down and 1-2 will have some issues, thus resulting in a really long wait with only 2 fully functional counters.Yesterday same thing happened, but on top of that I saw a few of the counters were out of pay-for plastic bags, so customer from those counter had to take the bags from other counters.The store rep was watching all this but did nothing to rectify the situation. She was not even aware of how long the line had grown because of 2 (out of 6) functioning counters were occupied by 2 consumers with cart full of groceries. The manager here should go to Sunnyvale Costco and see how their reps efficiently manage the line waiting for the 6 self checkout counters. Those reps are very attentive and if they see a long wait, they proactively navigate you to a full-service counter so that you can finish check out early.

Usually there is not enough cashiers but it’s easy to get what we need and the vegetables and essentials are easy and quick to get. We like that they have cakes and cupcakes when needed

Easy access from Hwy 280 and DeAnza Blvd, friendly customer service, no waiting in line, self-check out available, bakery and deli on site, hot soups ready to be served at very low prices compared to other like stores.

Clean, friendly staff, well stocked and more options than any other Safeway Ive seen. Safe and easy access from parking lot. One of my favorite Safeways in the Bay Area.

I am giving this a four star because the store was really clean and it wasnt really busy it was fully stocked the meat department person was really helpful and I was able to get everything that I needed and the cashier was l very friendly but he did make a lot of mistakes on my order but the manager came over and fixed every one of my mistakes quickly and got me in and out really fast they were really friendly I had no quarrels no problems no nothing I really appreciate it all the help that I got so thank you to everyone there

We placed an order for delivery today before noon, around 5 pm we received any email that the order had been completed and was out for delivery, which was due by 7 pm. I waited until 7:40 pm but I wake up early so I just called to see if it could still be switched to pick up or was the delivery already out. The gentlemen who answered the phone, whose name was Sergio, stated to me well you did this.. so I dont know... before trailing off... and me then stopping him and promptly ending the call as a paying customer I do not have to be spoken to that way and I will not tolerate it. I am not sure what his intention was or what he felt could be gained by approaching this situation with rudeness.. but it was rude and completely uncalled for. This store is next to my house but I will just drive a little further and go somewhere else.

Have you ever had a rotten day and someone went WAY out of their way to help you? Sergio did just that today when I needed emergency cash to pay a mechanic for replacing a stolen catalytic converter. He is a prince. He hooked me up and Im back to work in a hurry. As an RN, I dont have much time off. He got me in and out the door in 3 minutes. Thanks buddy.

My visit last time was to complete my Coronavirus SARs2 immunization. I regularly shop at Safeway but I was out of the country in Puerto Vallarta.I would like to mention that Safeway was the only location I could get the BioNTech-Pfizer vaccine. I had been dead set on that vaccine because I have kept myself updated on the vaccines since their release.So Safeway did me a great service by providing the vaccine I wanted and their service was impeccable. I didn’t wait anytime at all, and the service is professional.

I took this picture on December 31st. Baby food was expired on OCTOBER 31st 2019! For god sake, it’s for babies! Shame on you, Safeway!Another picture was taken the same day. They were selling milk that was expired almost a MONTHS ago!!! Are you kidding? And the second bottle was expired on December 29th.Need to mention that Safety often sells expired deserts and other stuff.Do you have at least Anything fresh for people???!!!

Plenty of parking in the plaza. The interior is nicely designed compared to most safeway Ive been to. The prices are are a little higher to comparable grocery stores in the area.

You always stand in line for 15-20 minutes at this store while the managers stand in the corner and talk. I will go elsewhere.

I miss the PW Super that Safeway put out of business and replaced.

Tri-layered custard cakeSafeway cakes are the best cakes! Let me stop you right there. Safeway for cakes??? Yes! Im a big fan of their bakery. My brothers and I were considering getting their tres leches cake for my dad but when we saw this beauty in the display, we had to get it! It had three layer of white cake with creamy custard in between. The cake was super moist, not very sweet and totally satisfying. Best part, we got this tower of a cake for $20!

Convenient and well stocked.

We shop every week and used to spend 300-400/week for the long years until the management screwed. The new manager doesn’t know what he is doing. He refused complaints from customers, this store needs someone who is up and knows what to do. Too bad for Safeway to experience as such. Until they have a good management we will be ordering from whole foods, Trader Joe’s or sprouts.

All the staff at this Safeway are so helpful and nice. Im a regular here since I live practically across the street and they always recognize me and say hi, especially Monica and Noemi. You can tell they are hard workers and go the extra mile for customers. I am grateful to have them there especially during this difficult time of sheltering in place. They are my essential workers heroes.

They are definitely not closed at 23:00. I was there at 22:15 but it was closed already and didnt see any business hours signs anywhere.

Safeway has everything one needs for groceries. The ad specials, and Friday $5.00 are good buys.

This Safeway is just okay. High prices of course, but its a clean environment. I personally only shop here only for convenience or as a last minute thing. Or when they have specials. If you are looking for great prices stores like Food Maxx and Walmart will stretch your dollar a lot more than Safeway.

I shop here every other day or at least once a week. They have a starbucks, staff is friendly too!

Great beer selection and the staff who work here are all really friendly and amazing. My only complaint is that there are never enough checkers/registers open, but despite that there are a few employees who consistently keep the line cruising. I have been to many safeways, and this is one of the best!

Well organized store and has labels with price mentioned correctly. The sign boards placed inside the store for aisle information is pretty neat and self explanatory. I always buy fresh chicken from here, theres a butcher available in store to buy fresh meat and sea foods if you dont like frozen foods like me. Theres always some music/song coming out from the speakers in a low volume to boost your shopping mood. I found some bakery products (pineapple pie, cake) not having a good taste. Other products I brought were good. Sometimes they put really amazing deals when the shelf life of product is near to its end. Veggies and some fruits I find them expensive in here than local farmers market. Bananas are good, I always get them here..fresh !

This Safeway has great parking and a better selection of products than most Safeways in the area. Their produce can be a little hit or miss but their employees are very competent.

I love Safeway. They always have good prices and helpful people. Im giving it 3 stars because I always go there with my 2 year old son. He loves the kids cart/shopping carts the ones for the kids. The only problem is that almost all the time theres someone smoking next to the front door. It would be nice if there were at least no smoking signs. So Safeway get those signs and you get 5 stars from me. Thank you.

They had a two day special add with very few items on the add and when we went the evening of the second day they only had a few items left and the rest were all sold out and they said there were no rain checks. One would think that they would be able to carry enough inventory to satisfy two day sale. Whats wrong with the management. They couldnt even bother to put out signs on the empty shelves that they were out, we had to go find an employee to ask and the way they acted you would think that we just ruined their whole day. Sorry for being a customer. I wont let it happen again.

I was shopping in my local Safeway around 1000 am, and I felt that I dropped money in the store. I called the store, and the store manger response me and helped me with the problem. Very clean really enjoyed the layout of everything and options. Cashiers however were more interested in talking to eachother than attending customers. Had to wait twice while trying to finish transaction as she was busy messaging her lover back. Very unprofessional. Otherwise Store was great.

Just had one of my best experiences at a grocery store. Walked out with a gallon of milk and as I was getting into the car it slipped and fell, smashing onto the asphalt and creating a massive mess.I went back in to get another gallon and was joking about how I had created a mess in the parking lot, and the very friendly cashier immediately offered to replace it for free.In addition to being my local Safeway and being open 24 hours, this friendly and helpful attitude is just what I need to put a smile on my face. Big thanks and keep up the great work!!

The staff at night are cool, but this Safeway doesnt keep stuff in stock that well anymore. Plus their discount prices are garbage lately. Safeway prices are a rip off now for their products, even their generic brand isnt worth it anymore. Consistently increasing product prices. I wont be using Safeway at all anymore unless its an emergency. Period. Looks like Amazon may claim another person for online grocery shopping.

I love coming to this Safeway after theyre renovated the place. I usually find myself stopping here to grab something for a get-together with friends since the location is so convenient, just a block from the 280 on-ramps. They also have wine and cheese tastings sometimes when Im in there.
