Donut Wheel is my absolute favorite. The owner is super friendly too. Been my favorite donuts for 35 years and thatll never change. Blueberry twist has no equal anywhere in the country. Apple fritter is best in USA. Plain cake is perfect. Buttermilk bar is ideal. Donut Wheel forever.

I loved it! They were super sweet! The lady who was there around 1:30am was very welcoming! She made my first time experience unforgettable, mind you Im not from the Santa Clara area. This will be my main go to for donuts!

Swung by to pick up some treats on way to visit Mom and Dad. While doing the usual give me a few of these and a few of those, I asked what flavors of jelly donuts were left. (It was 9:45 am, in Donut Universal Time, half of the day was gone) The lady said she had some unfilled ones in the back that she could fill for me with anything I wanted. OMG....an item Ive had on the back burner was to locate unfilled jelly donuts. An unfilled jelly donut with a generous dusting of powdered sugar is a first order approximation of a Disneyland beignet.Could I please have two lemon jelly donuts and three unfilled ones?This is going to be a surprise for the kids when I get back tonight. 🥳🍩😀...and of course, I had to get a large black coffee.The store now has a Square payment terminal, you can pay with a credit card if you forgot to bring enough cash. I think there was a $0.50 surcharge....well worth it when donut shopping. I was so giddy in finding unfilled jelly donuts! I get to cross Action Item off my mental todo list.

This place is open around the clock and I went on a random weeknight, many many donuts were there. I got a half dozen and some were hot. They had really good twists including a chocolate, cinnamon, and a blueberry twist which is never had but was delish

This is a great 24 hour mom and pop donut shop with friendly service like the good ol days. Once you walk in you can smell the fresh donuts and see a little bit of history. Every time I went during the odd hours the coffee was still fresh and hot. I ordered the glazed, chocolate, and coconut sprinkled donuts. For three donuts and coffee its a little over $5. The people here are friendly and helpful as well.

My second time and wont be the last!Supporting the local mom and pop shop while getting my fill with very soft donuts and not overly sweet, which is a big plus for me. Creme filled donut holes are 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 $10.05 for the whole box! Very clean inside. Tables and chairs are stacked so no dine-in. Employees are very patient with us while we choose our sugary vices.Bring cash to avoid the $0.25 or $0.50 transaction fee.

Simple and straightforward! I am easily obsessed with their coconut donuts! Specifically the cake donuts. Go so well with black coffee as you can imagine! It’s fun watching them dip the donuts! Pretty solid little family establishment right down the road from Apple‘s headquarters. They have Apple Pay so you can totally get in and get out without physical contact!

Been going here since 1987. Back then my favorite was the apple fritter. Currently it is the chocolate/maple Buttermilk. All of their donuts are consistently good every single day, fresh. I hope they stay in business for another 30 years. I dont mind traveling far away to stop by here, their donuts are that good!

The bear claw had apple filling inside and omg it was DELICIOUS! My friend loved the blueberry twists, besides that all the others we tried were pretty good like long john and the raspberry filled donut hole. I picked up donuts around 7-8am The old man behind the counter was very kind and patient as he explained every kind and I was asking for which I admit took a while as I was deciding on what to buy via a video call lol. This place was recommended to me by a local and I was told nothing but good things about it. Donut will did not disappoint me at all. This place needs to be more famous than what it already is in my opinion. Quick-service and the donuts are delicious. I will be coming back here to conduct more research in the future. This place is awesome. See below for a picture of a raised crumb donut (actually I ate it almost in one bite since it was so delicious). Theres also a picture of a Cronut, which was also very satisfying and disappeared somehow equally as fast. For the price of what Starbucks charges for a single Venti coffee, I had all THREE! (Large coffee with cinnamon and chocolate, large Cronut, large raised crumb donut). Anyone complaining about this place really needs to evaluate their outlook on life. This place will make you and your family happy. Enjoy!

No matter what donut shop I go to, I usually dont have strong opinions about the quality. A donut is a donut. But even to me, its clear that the cake donuts here are very special... Get the chocolate one with nuts on top, pop it in the microwave at home for 15-20 seconds (not sure because I did 30 and it was too much), then sit back, enjoy it, and be very satisfied with your life choices.

This little donut shop seems to have been around forever. The donuts here are among the best Ive ever tasted. In particular, I am fond of the apple fritters.A couple miles south is another donut shop that is very good, but the Donut Wheel is markedly better.Seems to be run by a family who are trying to make ends meet during the current pandemic, heroically providing an uplift in spirits to those of us who get a bit of sweetness into our day with their treats.

This is my go to doughnut place and I love the sweet lady there. I once went in and told her how it was my sons birthday the next day and it is our tradition to wake our kids up with candles on one of their doughnuts on their birthday and she gave me several free ones to celebrate with 🥰

Doughnuts are good, but the woman that was helping us had no personality. Date August 6th, around 5PM. Seriously no customer service, she needs to get better then that. Since customer service is a big part of any business, 3 stars.

Weve been coming here since the 1970s. Consistently great doughnuts. Love the owner and staff. And the chocolate glazed bars. Paradise for preschoolers who can learn the drill at eye level.

This is the best place to get donuts. Theyre made fresh every few hrs. No matter what time of the day or night you go there theres people there. Students are there even after midnight studying. The donuts just melt in your mouth theyre so good.

High quality donuts are sold here. And yes, donuts are not the same everywhere. They use the best ingredients for their donuts, resulting in delicious products. Donut Wheel employees are very nice and helpful, the place is clean, as are the bathrooms. The parking lot has security cameras and it is clean and free of trash. I visit this place once or twice a month and have never had a bad experience there.

A donut place needs their stream of customers to be equal to their stream of donuts. The best Ive been to are making donuts as fast as theyre ordered, so every donut is fresh. Here, no matter what time of day I come, there are never fresh donuts to be ordered. I fear that theyre always selling the oldest ones in a misled attempt to reduce spoilage. Really they should be making fewer donuts, and the donuts will be a lot better.
