I’ve been using Culpeper Tire and Auto for a couple years now. Kaila and Chris are great! This is a business I am proud to support! They are always friendly and efficient and I believe they are truly looking out for their customers. My most recent visit entailed A LOT of services. Chris went over everything with me and helped me prioritize what NEEDED to be done for safety and what I can wait on to help my budget.They offer a free loaner vehicle (if not being used by another customer) and the only thing you need is insurance, a drivers license and you take care of gas.I can’t explain enough how much I appreciate all their help and patience. In addition, they support their first responders and that is huge thumbs up from me too!

Dont usually leave reviews, but for this shop, ill make an exception.This is our go-to shop for any work my family or I need done on any of our cars/trucks!These guys are always there when we need them and have always provided exceptional service at a fair price and theyre pretty quick too (even more so, when compaired to some of the other shops in the area).The staff and owners have been nothing but friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I called them on my way home from work, I wasnt able to work due to the weather, and they were able to get me in 30 minutes later. I got there early, but their waiting room is very comfortable, so it wasnt too big of a deal for me. They took my car back and did a free inspection of it, which I didnt know they do, and they gave me a detailed list of possible issues that may need attention in the near/immediate future. I got an alignment done, and it was cheaper than I was expecting it to be. All in all I left with a smile on my face.

I was able to get a PROPER A/C system diagnostic after some issues I was having. No frills no scare tactics and fair pricing.Very friendly environment and staffing especially compared to most mechanics in the area!

Replaced starter. Up charged me 401.86. Called Napa and they said the part only cost 222.00. Also charged 49.83 for job supplies. Definitely will not go back!

I went in for tires and a wheel alignment after the dealership told me I needed them but did not want to pay an arm and a leg. Chris and his associate were very sweet and got the job done incredibly fast! Their honesty and integrity as a company are wonderful. I was also told by the dealership I needed brakes done but after doing their own inspection they even told me I didn’t need to change my brakes for probably another 10,000 miles! I told my husband about the incredible service and honesty I received and we both decided “No More Dealerships!”. Culpeper Tire and Auto have new customers for life!

My husband actually took the cars for an inspection and he was so pleased with the service. He said it may cost a little more to have them fix something we needed to have done but we are happy to pay for the exceptional service and we trust this company will take good care of our cars.

Customer service was excellent. Friendly and attentive. The work they did was great as well. I had new tires put on, an alignment and an oil change. I work during most of the day, so I was unable to return before they close. But they provide a convenient way to pay online from your device. I love that feature. Also, they send you an inspection report with pictures of your vehicle that you can look over and assess what you would like to have done, based on their recommendations. Overall, Im very satisfied and will be returning.

To not take your vehicle to Culpeper Tire and Auto Repair would be a mistake! Chris, the owner, and Corey, one of his top mechanics, were knowledgeable, honest, and worked quickly. They were both kind and answered all of my questions professionally and thoroughly. Chris was considerate and generous when it came to pricing out all the work I needed done to my vehicle and CTAR even provided a loaner car at no extra charge. My fiance and I are consistently pleased with their services and abilities and plan to return for all of our vehicle needs.

Got us in quick for a flat tire, allowed drop off and after hours pick up with great service and great price! Also performed a complimentary inspection while they had my vehicle.

The staff is very nice. I went in for a nail in my tire and they do a free inspection to look for issues your car may have. Several showed up that I had already suspected, and a few that I had not. Those things they recommended that I was surprised on are in my recommended maintenance schedule on my car and I was indeed overdue. Something our previous car place never even mentioned. They gave me an estimate of everything they recommended and left me to decide. No pressure to do anything that day, or to schedule a follow up. I went back a week later to have the issues all addressed and get a state inspection. They are flexible, get the job done quickly, and don’t push you to do more than you want to do. I will continue to do service with them in the future.

This place was very nice and professional. They helped us with our car that we had bought just the night prior, and was super kind and helpful. They helped estimate the cost and was very giving on future advice. They went over the vehicle and gave proper advice, on how to go on about this. They take pictures of what was wrong and did a great job of explaining the situation. I reccomend this place 100%

So after 13 years in culpeper and using several different auto service providers, and today gave Culpeper Tire and Auto the opportunity to do a state inspection of a vehicle of ours. I have to say that for just an inspection I was utterly impressed. Yes, due to COVID we had to make an appointment but was okay with that and understand. Called on a Tuesday and was in on Thursday, no big deal. What a pleasant shop and very professional. To say the least, this will be our service center from now on. Highly recommend.......

We needed to hunt down some slow leaks that were getting worse as time went on. The Culpeper Tire & Auto staff were able to get us in swiftly, found the problem quickly, and fixed it for a very fair price. Not only did they fix the original problem, they looked over the major systems while it was in. They did find a few items of concern, but there was no pressure and no scare tactics, it was all informative.A great experience and well be going back.

Great people, and the tech that did my alignment was very knowledgeable and fast. Highly recommend, far more than Precision Auto Care. No wait time for me whatsoever. They take pictures underneath the car to show you if something needs to be replaced. They will send them to as well.They dont push repairs either. Very professional and nice honest people.

Got new shocks and struts replace on left back rear and right back rear. Still hearing same noise from before I took to this place . Was overpriced, check model number online and store they charge more than expected . Than told me other stuff that was wrong with my vehicle that was lie. Took to Kia place wear brought my vehicle say all things that they say wrong with it wasn’t . I will not be going to this place because same issue with noise I’m still hearing it when drive . I feel like something wasn’t put on right why still hearing the noise on same side I addressed

They turned up a pretty significant issue that warranted us taking back to dealer, saving us a lot of money and hassle a month down the road. Only shop around that didnt quote a huge rate to take a look at it and worked us in same day. Also, rates/quotes were cheaper then other places we checked for specific issue found. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a mechanic that was trustworthy. I had been searching high and low and, unfortunately, my van broke down and I needed to find someone quickly. Through reviews online and word of mouth, I find Culpeper Tire and Auto. Let me tell you, I was blown away by the level of customer service and support that I received here. Not only was my vehicle fixed, but I had several other convenience problems with it that were fixed simply because I brought them up in passing conversation. The level of customer satisfaction that I have is beyond a five star rating and they have gained a long time returning customer for as long as I live in Culpeper. Not to mention I received a discount for being a prior Marine. Love this place.

Bought tires for my Jeep. Very pleasant folks. Took me in at my appointed time. Ive always been leary about going into shops for tires or something simple due to the fact they are always looking for something else to work on. These guys did look things over which was expected, but did not give me a sales pitch or some gloom and doom diagnosis. They had some suggestions and also showed me something I had not noticed, but backed it up by allowing me to watch them hook it up to the machine. The mechanic noticed the steering wheel was a little out of alignment and suggested but didnt push it, to check out the alignment. All 4 tires were out. What a difference. They got me out of there by the time I needed. I was impressed with the treatment. Most shops will treat their customers like they dont know anything. I have a good feel for people, an ability I have needed to develop that I use professionally. I definitely feel like these guys are an honest shop, and will treat you with respect and courtesy anyone deserves.Im glad I found them

Quick, cost effective and thorough. They definitely Won me over.

Just had 2 tires and a wheel stud replaced and the gouging was ridiculous for the wheel stud. They have a sign in their lobby that states $83/hr for labor and charged $102 for the 10 minutes I watched them change the stud. Tire prices are comparable. Good service though which is why I give them 2 stars instead of 1. Couldve had a customer for life but instead gets the gouging review.
