The store is too big for my taste. The staff is great. The prices are great. The walking sometimes can be too much

Its very good place to shop their deals are pretty decent it sold much better store than the Walmart Harvard Harvard Store Walmart at place I really tell you it stinks not enough products in the store Woodstock store has the products that youre looking for

Wouldnt it be wonderful if every Walmart had the same layout. Then I wouldnt have to wander around the store for hours looking for 3 items. Of course, nobody bothers to ask you if you need any help. I wanted to test the managers that were by me talking about moving things around. So for about 5 minutes, I kept walking around them. Looking up and down isles. Obviously need some help. Did the managers come over to help? No, they went to the other end of the store.

Clean organized and spacious !!......There were onlyb2 available cashiers at 745 pm but hey other than that it was awesome!!

Not pleased with my car service. I’m a graduate student right on money and I’ve come to Walmart in the past for car services as they usually do a good job and are more affordable. After leaving from having new tires put on there’s cosmetic damage to all the rims. Mechanic claims it wasn’t him and that they use plastic crowbars. Buyers beware, make sure to document your rims before hand, they did not do anything to help. Additionally my tire sensor went off 10 minutes after leaving the shop. They tried claiming it was old but it’s been working properly up to them touching it, no signs of it going bad. Brought it back for retorque and they are checking the tire sensor.

Prices do not add up. Found a toy that I could do pick up for on the app $19.97 in store $23.97. Only worked for 30 minutes. My daughter was very disappointed. They also have a huge clearance section do to the remodel which is great. If they actually honored the prices they have posted. Employees have a horrible attitude when you ask why its coming up a different price.

Really good customer service, but kind of slow curbside pickup wait time. There were only around 2 cars, including me, and it still took the works (Which I saw 4 of them walking around) 10 minutes to bring me my order.Other than that, love the store.

Terrible experience. There was a spill that wasn’t marked at a check out and people were walking threw it. There shelves were horribly stocked, missing products everywhere. So sad that Walmart’s have been going downhill like this.

Nice, big Walmart with huge selection. Probably the biggest one in the area with the most products and best selection. Is always clean and tidy whenever Ive visited, staff is typically helpful and friendly (not that Ive needed much). Has lots of self checkout and even ones with the full belt if you have a full order to get through, makes it super easy. Definitely seems like corporate takes the best care of this Walmart, always has the nicest and newest stuff to offer. Have always considered this the best Walmart in my area, just wish it were closer to me.

I called to ask if they sell Bob Ross wigs for Halloween. The lady who answered sounded very annoyed, then said she needs to ask someone. She put me on hold and I was randomly transferred twice. I know I was transferred because I heard the phone ring. At one point some guy picked up the phone, made a weird noise, and then put me on hold again. After 10 minutes, they hung up on me. No wonder this Walmart has bad ratings.

I go during their 3rd shift and its never the same experience but the staff is helpful and they really do a lot restocking those shelves. I find it a good time to shop

I only use grocery pickup since March 2020 but they have really nice employees.

Costumer service was very effective. I forgot one bag with groceries and called to see i they could help me. And they did!!! They keep my bag . Im please with this action

Aside from the stores layout being backwards and nothing is easy to find I purchased the one and only Power Acoustic 2000w amp from here and when I got home and Installed it the amp was stuck in protect mode. I returned the amp the same day and explained it was a broken electronic. The very next morning I came here for groceries and a few other items. Lo and behold the same exact amp I purchased and returned as a broken item was back on the shelf! No wonder it was already blown. Buyer beware!

2 employees, when asked where something was, instead of helping to find, gave me rough directions to 3 completely seperate departments. They narrowed it down to like 60% of the store. Asked a third employee who walked half way across the store with me to show me exactly where it was.The question was posed the exact same to all employees. That third guy? Was awesome. The other two were not interested in actually helping.

Multi billion dollar corporation yet they cant read the barcode to cash a check. Great technology

Visiting here from Az. Noticed low stock or none of several items. Asked for fried chicken not available until after 11. Went to check out and all but two lanes self service. I will shop elsewhere from now on. They are taking jobs away from many people. I do not shop to wait on myself. Just had contact from person in Seattle. She ran into same thing with cashiers and agreed. We will not shop there.Very disappointed.

I recommend going to this store 1-2 hours before they close due to grocery pickup not being anywhere in site. If you happen to go during the day be prepared for grocery pickup workers to be in every aisle with huge carts. This location has a great clearance aisle to the left of the store by garden.

I always go to Walmart. Its my go-to for any easy snack or when I need something random.

Alot of shelves were empty. It seems to be a pretty consistent problem.

How about Walmart employees scan the items at checkout not me! Will take my business to Meijer and Woodmans from now on.

Alright....as always it all depends on what day, what time and who you get behind the counter. But I have to say overall tis location have improved on being organized. Good work WM team.

This used to be open 24 hours, I stopped in at 9 pm, and it was advising people to make their final selections!!! Wake up Walmart! Everyone is back to normal hours!!! You close at 9:30!!!????? I need to drop this store from my list!!!

Super friendly staff. Came to the store today looking for some Easter plush, and an employee, Heather, was super helpful and went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for. Even though this location is farther from me than other Walmart locations, I’m definitely going to make the trip here more often based off of the great staff, as well as the store was clean!

You can find just about what you need at this Walmart. I know some other ones its difficult to find stuff. Most of the employees are friendly and will help you find what you are looking for.

I work at Walmart in crystal lake and I am in cap 2. I like it a lot. I always get along with the other people I work with including my coaches and my team leads for the most part. I also always get along with customers for the most part and assist them if they need help finding something if either they ask me to help them or I ask them do you need help finding anything. I’ll try my very best to find what their looking for. But then otherwise I’ll say have a good day or have a good night and I’ll also just say hello to people because it’s a nice thing to do. I’ll always get my stuff done before I leave for the night I worked even if I have to stay a little long to get it done and I’ll try to make everything I stock on the shelves as neatly and organized as best as I can including the top shelves. This is me but I would recommend Walmart. Otherwise, I like it and I hope anyone that reads this review likes it.

What a Difference this store is from the Woodstock one! Such a better variety and it’s clean. I felt I was in another world the staff was so friendly and helpful! The kid in the Electrics was super awesome!! Wish I got his name, thanks!

New to area so this Walmart Supercenter was a really pleasant surprise!! Its clean, neat, well stocked and the employees were super friendly!!

One of the better Walmart stores. Large selection of everything and a a comprehensive selection of food and beer. All of the average items are available for purchase. There is a large self checkout area if you dont want to go thru the regular lines. They generally have better staff versus other stores.

Typical large Walmart Supercenter. My shopping trip a couple of weeks ago was slowed a bit finding things as the general merchandise section seemed to be going through a redesign and relocating some departments.

Very nice place to shop. Large selection, can get most of the groceries I need.

Every single time I go there, an item I need isnt available as one or more aisles or cooler sections is completely wiped out.

I should be aloud to give Negative Stars for this store. Dirty, dusty and sticky! Half the shelves where empty and the only employees I saw where at a few registers.

Place is a joke with the trading card issues. I went in today to grab a comic book which no one was rushing to buy and unrelated to what everyone was waiting in line infront of the vendor for. I was told I wasnt allowed to get what I wanted until the card shoppers were done. I will no longer do business here considering there are grown men filling up the girls clothing section just to get Pokémon cards.

I ordered this two person patio glider and had it sent to my home, but there was no way I could put it together. I spoke with an assembler, Mason, at the Crystal Lake store, and I was told to bring it into them this morning. I brought the box with all the pieces to the store. Tony, one of the cart handlers, helped Mason transfer it into the store to be assembled.After only a half-hour I received the call that it was ready. Mason did a fabulous job putting it together, and Tony was again a great help in loading the glider into my car!Additionally, they once put together a bedroom set for me that I had ordered online. Mason, Tony, the other assemblers, and Walmart assistance employees are the epitome of customer service and do their job with great care, attention to detail, and friendliness!! They should be commended! This is what brings customers back! And they are appreciated!! Thank you all!!

I am getting to the point of never shopping at this Walmart. I am a handicapped Senior and cant push a cart. I need to ride on an electric cart. These stores are very big and I have a lot of trouble getting a cart. They need to have more carts available and fix the ones that are broken.

In the garden center there was a table and chair set I wanted to buy and the color I wanted was only available in the display model. They would not sell it to me, I was told I had to go to another store to get the color I wanted. The manager was very rude.

Excellent pickup service, got my covid vaccine here. Has some organic produce but could expand on that. I often go other places to fill those gaps. I often buy tech things here, my phone, iPad, tvs. Even a tire... overall solid 1 stop shop.

Well stocked, friendly staff. Great help when you cant find a specific item. Smooth checkout, you never have to wait too long.

Great grocery pick up service today. Quick, efficient and friendly service. I also had an eye exam appointment. Dr. Porter is very informative and kind. The optical staff is friendly and efficient as well.

I was there looking for a Bleeding Heart plant. Their system shows that 5 were available. However no one could help me find them.

Low on some groceries but clean and nice

90% of the employees filling online shopping orders are rude!! They cut right in front of shoppers and park that big blue cart right on front of people to get what they need- its absurd! In addition, they go the wrong way down the isles even though they are clearly marked with arrows and say enter this way and do not enter at the ends of each isle. This store is like the wild west and Id rather drive further away than deal with the rude online employees fulfilling online orders. They should seriously do this overnight!!

Decent size grocery, but I wish it was larger. There is a limited selection consisting mainly of staple items.

I like the fact that they are always stocking the shelves. Helping us shoppers finding what we need faster and easier. Keeping their workers busy. If you want to shop there you have to wear a mask. 😷 You have to protect yourself and your loved ones. Covid is not a hoax people, take it seriously or you’ll regret it.

I was trying not to go into this store, order the item I needed online and have them load my car. Online it said it was in stock and could be picked up same day. I went to order it and they wanted to charge me the $100 shipping fee even though I was picking up the same day. I was confused so I called. It took a long time for someone to pick but in these times it is understandable they could be short staffed.The woman that answered seemed to be annoyed she had to answer the phone. I asked if she could check to see if they had the item in-stock that I had the item number..... She quickly cut me off and asked me if I checked online. If she didn’t cut me off I would have been able to tell her that. I continued and stated I did. I saw it in stock and the aisle but the website wanted to charge me the $100 ship fee. She jumped in again and said that if it showed in stock and The aisle, that the item was in stock. I explained again that I understood but the Site still wanted to charge me a shipping fee. She then huffed and said if it is charging me the shipping fee it wasn’t really in stock. I then asked could you please check and she cut me off again and repeated herself. I just said Ok, thank you and hung up. It would have been ten times faster if she would have just looked it up for me. Ugh! I still am not sure they actually have the item in stock or not. I’ll have to make a trip. Sigh. Hopefully the rest of the Crystal Lake Walmart crew aren’t as rude as the woman on the phone.Saving grace, I went to the store a gentleman working in the aisle near by helped take my item to the front and answered all my questions with a smile in his eye. (He was wearing a mask)

This Walmart has an Esports Arena! They have gaming computers as well all the current generation consoles for all your gaming needs. Currently the only Walmart with an ESA in Illinois so check it out!
