I would highly recommend Napleton Buick GMC of Crystal Lake. From the initial call (checking on inventory) to signing on the dotted line, the level of communication was very transparent. Jessie Brie, and team took a collaborative approach to managing my purchase. I have purchased several new cars throughout my lifetime. Napleton Buick GMC of Crystal Lake is the only dealership to include me as partner in the sale of a new vehicle. All other dealers refused to listen, and took the approach of take it or leave it! However, this is not the case at Napleton Buick GMC of Crystal Lake. They set a new standard for car buying!***Kudos to Jessie Brie for coming in on his day off to ensure my new vehicle purchase met my expectations, and kudos to Marci Zavala for the assist.

Having a loaner vehicle certainly helped with having to wait for a diagnosis on my check engine light being on. Was not pleased to find out it was the battery I just replaced last year, but happy that it was able to be replaced without purchasing a new one. I still do not understand why I had to pay for installation, though. The service guys are the best and make the experience as pain free as they possibly can.

I traveled from 700 miles to purchase a new 2021 Acadia. While I was there Jesse noticed a piece that fell off inside and just put it back on, stating “that happens sometimes it’s not broken.” 30 miles away from the dealership the piece fell off again and I then realized that the piece was broken and put back on with DOUBLE SIDES TAPE. The SD card for the navigation was also displaying an “error” sign on the dash and Jesse assured me that it would be fixed next time I turned the car on. When I got home I called back to say it didn’t work, and I was told “we can’t do anything about that, it must be a default.” Also purchasing a new vehicle I figured it would be ready to go but on the way home a light said that there was no windshield washer fluid. There was also a tear in the leather seat that I was not made aware of. The service was very unprofessional and they are not willing to work with their customers to make sure they have the best possible experience. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

Went to look for a car and was not pleased with the first salesman and wasnt going to go back. The manager, Nancy called and assured us if we come back she would set us up with another salesman. We gave it a try and Benny Alvarez was our salesman. He was more than accommodating and met all of our needs. We were happy to leave with the car we wanted and all of the accessories we were looking for at a fair price. If you are looking for a car ask for Benny!

Horrible Practices. Went in just after my Warranty Expired because I had a Check Engine Light on. They said that the code stated that it was a faulty catalytic converter. They said that the code requires GM to 1st download a an update which was not covered because my warranty was out. That cost me $250. It fixed the issue for an entire day and a half and the Check Engine light came back on. I took it back in and guess what? My catalytic converter still needed to be fixed. So It wasnt a faulty computer issue at all and I feel I got robbed out of $250.

Car was filthy when service was completed. Attempted to talk with a salesperson (my lease ends in several months) and was blown off with: Im busy with a customer, when in fact I was the only customer in the building. He then proceeded to walk around the building and appeared to be killing time with other employees. While I most likely will either purchase my Terrain or lease another one, I can assure you it will not be at this dealership.

I just bought my car on Monday and it is great. I got everything I wanted out of it. It was a great experience at the dealership all the way around, from sales to finance and even just hanging out. The staff is all so nice and friendly. I also have to mention that I have been here looking for a car under both ownerships and the new owners are by far better than the last owners. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to come here now that the ownership has changed hands. Much better experience.Jesse was my salesman and he was great. 1st let me say I was undecided between two cars. Chris was very patient with me. Went through both cars with me and explained the difference. Was so helpful and in no way pushing me or making me feel uncomfortable. I spent most of the day there (not their fault but mine), I purchased my car and they walked me through it. I am old school never had a car with all these options, they showed me how to use them but, when your buying a car you only understand half of what they said. Bob told me to take it home and if I have any questions to come back and they would walk me thru it. Thank you guys for all your help. Would recommend you guys.

We bought 2 cars here in 1 week. Day 1 went fine, as Jesse was our salesperson. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and not pushy. Day 2 was Jesses day off, and we had another salesperson. We already knew the car we wanted and had test driven it. But this day took 4 1/2 hours to buy a car was already knew we wanted. Sales Rep. was not as knowledgeable as he should have been, and excessively pushed an extended warranty plan we had already told him we didnt want. He even had another associate try to push it on us. We came VERY close to leaving without making as purchase that day. Totally unnecccessarily drawn out process. Im only giving 4 stars, but Jesse is the reason you are getting this many.

Best deal to have with this company is to STAY AWAY, take your business somewhere else.I dont know if its arrogance or lack of business acumen, but whatever it is its a combination that resulted to the worst experience Ive ever had purchasing a car.Despite my experience, Jorge was very helpful although he was constantly trapped between doing the right thing and pleasing his boss, which included providing me with half information about the car, not forgetting those hidden costs that will be slapped on after you agree on the price.Overall take your business somewhere else, otherwise be prepared for disappointments.

This place is pretty rough.... staff are smoking nonstop which fills up their ENTIRE showroom. I left with my hair smelling like smoke for the next two days. (Fine if you’re used to that but as someone who is not exposed to that on a daily basis, it was disgusting) They are pushy, not personable at all, and just want their paycheck at the end of the day. Definitely will NOT be recommending this place to anyone I care about

The service representative that we spoke to about getting our tire replaced never bothered to check our service history or if the tire needed was in stock before scheduling service. This forced us to come back after showing up to a pointless service appointment. Further, I’ve had my car serviced here many times before and has always been ran through the car wash. This last time that did not happen as was expected.

Your prices are too high, $165 an hour for labor is absurd. I was quoted $1100 for a 6 hour job with a $100 part. I called three other places and the next highest quote was $775, a couple even said that if the repair goes quicker than 6 hours they would do it for less than the $725 to $775 they quoted me. Also your oil changes with tire rotations are now $15 higher than what they used to be. Unfortunately I won’t be using your dealership anymore and I used to really like you guys. You weren’t the cheapest but you were fair but that isn’t the case anymore

The salesman was courteous and responsive. Management offer on my trade in was a joke. After I told the salesman to look at KBB did they come up on my trade in, still a little on the low side. What surprising was after the deal was made and, partly my fault, because I did not look at the purchase price because I assumed that was what I was working on did I find out that there were additional costs that were added to the initial sticker price that were not explained to myself. These additional costs should be added to the initial sticker price as they are automatically done with out the customers permission. Can be considered a deceptive practice.

I was really excited to finally get my first car after finding the perfect Acura. I was ready to finance the car on the price we agreed on, but when Bob brought out the final invoice sheet, the price didn’t add up and we found out they added some hidden fees. The financial advisor came to talk to us and explained the fees, but they were ridiculous charges that made no sense. These hidden fees made the price go up about $2000. They were trying to add an $885 fee for warranty even though the car already had factory warranty. The financial advisor also had a very bad attitude and was very unprofessional. They should be ashamed of themselves for trying to scam people.

Horrible service! This service department is a nightmare. New ownership, but same service team. The people are friendly but overall have no idea what they are doing. I took my vehicle here in February for the check engine light and was told they knew exactly what the problem was, and it would cost $2,500 to fix. After many calls with GM, I got them to work with me on covering the repairs. I paid 500 dollars on top of the 155 dollars I paid for their diagnostic fee (which ended up being incorrect). The repairs they completed never actually fixed the problem I was having. After taking the vehicle back multiple times explaining the vehicle was still not running properly, I was told it was bad gas and not a problem with the Turbo. The check engine light kept coming on with the same code. I had to move to Tennessee for work in June, and the check engine light again continued to be on with the same code. Finally, I was able to take it to the dealership here in Tennessee, and they are confirming it is a problem with the Turbo, and the repairs will cost over 1,000 dollars.

I brought my car in for an oil change at 8:35 and didnt get out of there till 10 am. Although they put a new wiper blade only on the left side which I requested and that seemed to be a long time. I was a little surprised they didnt top off my fluids I didnt think it had to tell them that. I also brought in a dozen donuts for your staff as a courtesy. When I bring my car in again I will be sure to mention that they top off the fluids.

I purchased a vehicle on 12/7/20 from this dealership. When negotiating price, there were repairs negotiated into the price dealership was supposed to take care of. We owe I owe form was filled out with promised repairs upon financing. Per sales rep, and manager, I was supposed to get a call same week to schedule when to drop off the vehicle for repairs. Never got a call. I called the dealership on 12/14/20, and spoke with Rich, told me hell call me back by 12/15. Never did. I called them again on 12/17, Rich wasnt there, spoke with another Manager, didnt catch his name, but said hell have Rich call me back Friday 12/18. Rich never called, I ended up calling Friday evening. Spoke with Rich, he apologized, said hell call me Saturday. Never did.... Do not trust this dealership, especially the we owe I owe form. They do not honor their part of the deal. I will be going to next level since I have the repairs as part of contact.

Came back with it and ran some numbers with Marci (if you go there go see her). She helped me right off the bat and worked with me until I was completely satisfied. Not only did she want to make a deal but she did want to help, along with Kasey (finance department). They both worked with me until the end. Got a HUGE deal from them and couldnt be happier.
