So I recently wanted to trade in my cellular device (Galaxy S10) and I was told my phone had too many scratches, My phone company recommended that I stopped by battery plus to get my screen fixed. I’ve stopped by and they gave me a quote of 200 dollars. I thought that price was ridiculous due to the fact my phone was in great shape the only issue was some minor visible scratches. Well I almost settled but I’ve done my own little research and came across this company, conveniently it was 2-3 minutes from my house so I stopped by and the owner (I’m assuming, didn’t catch your name my apology) greeted me and I gave him my phone and was expecting to pay some outrageous price and he looked at me and was like nothing is wrong with the phone, he simply wiped the scratches away and I walked out in like 5 minutes like literally! I highly recommend this company it’s very personal and welcoming. Not slandering the other big name company but this company is the absolute go to! Frank completed a very difficult repair that a few other computer stores said they didn’t have the tools or ability to do. It was done within a day, and for the exact price that he quoted. (Which was pretty cheap all things considered)

Brought in an Honor G6 with a swollen battery for repair. There was also damage to the frame from being dropped. I believe it was Frank I talked to. He warned me that the phone might not be fixable once it was taken apart due to the damage from the swollen battery and being dropped. He was able to get it apart, replace the battery, fix the broken frame, and get it all back together. Looked like new. The price for the repair was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Brought my laptop in with water damage, and the gentleman was so helpful and upfront about what the potential issues could be and the prices. When it was ready he called and explained what it was and was very honest and fair with pricing. I was expecting to have to get a new laptop but he fixed it in a jiffy! My iPhone X had broken glass on both sides. I’d even taped the broken glass back on the back. I’d had it repaired in Los Angeles from guys on Craigslist twice before. Frank in the 911 Tech repair office was GREAT! He was understanding and not condescending at all. He fixed both sides, explained how bad the previous work was so bad, and even through in a temporary gel case.

Having to get your phone/computer repaired is similar to having to get your car fixed. You dont know who to trust or if youre going to get ripped off. On my first iPhone screen crack, I called a couple places and 911 Tech Repair had the best price. Not only that but the owner is very knowledgeable and reliable. Over the last few years, I have used them to fix at least 4 screens (for my 3 kids), water damage phone repair, and a brand new laptop accident. Last week I discovered by 35mm digital camera no longer had power. Since my new battery would not solve the problem I took the camera to the 911 Tech Repair in Crystal Lake. My laptop had two separate spills on it. One on the keyboard and one where the battery is located. The laptop wasnt taking a charge and the keys were sticking when I typed. I took my laptop to 911 Tech Repair and told them I needed the laptop fixed ASAP. They were able to fix it in about a week and called me right when it was ready for pick up. The owner has rescued us more than one time. This time we needed a new WiFi card for our Crome book. He didn’t have one in stock for our model, so he gave us a loner, at no charge for the week. He had the best price around, as always, my daughter had made a few calls already. Even if he was a bit more money...it’s worth knowing that your equipment is in the best hands. The other day I was at this place to have my glass replaced on my Iphone 11 as I thought it was cracked. After the tech looked at my phone he took off the plastic protective cover I had on the glass (High-Definition Tempered Glass by Puregear) and showed me my glass was just fine. It was the protective cover that was cracked in several places. He could have been dishonest by taking my phone in the back room, replace the cover and charge me for a new glass but he was honest. He saved me $159 that it would have cost to replace my glass. I highly recommend this place for phone repairs. Honest and professional.

Dropped off a computer it was diagnosed by end of a day and repaired and ready for pickup in a week.

I had to leave a message this morning, received return call within the hour. Brought my Motorola phone in to have the screen replaced. Parts were in stock and I received my phone back same day.I do have another phone that parts were not in stock but they were willing to order parts, with a deposit. Another place I called didnt offer ordering parts.

Frank has great prices on fixing everything. He has replaced my sons ipad screen, my MacBook Pros whole housing and other issues, and now is replacing an Iphone screen. Got my phone back Saturday after getting the screen replaced. Over the weekend my phone was pissing me off jumping to sites Im just trying to scroll past. Today, Monday, I noticed my screen was not even glued on the phone. You can lift it up away from the phone, it is not even glued a little bit. The person that I met at the front seemed nice, but the work that was done on my phone is disappointing.

Went in with my phone not playing an audio out loud. The man knew exactly what was wrong with my phone and got it fixed in an hour! Definitely recommend if you dont wanna pay crazy prices anywhere else.

Our desktop computer recently had some major issues. It would not stay up, and we were sure that we were going to need a new computer. We were concerned about losing our data and pictures on our almost 9 year old machine. We took the machine in to 911 to have it checked out. We have used 911 before for an iPod that had issues, and were happy with the quality of service.Frank at 911 in Crystal Lake, IL is a great resource, and always very helpful and friendly. He took our machine, and worked on it until he had it fixed. He ran into several issues, and parts needing replacement. Our PC was also full of dust, and Frank cleaned the entire inside. The PC is now immaculate inside ! The PC runs better than it has in YEARS !!If you want quality work, and great customer service, go to Frank at 911 ! This guy knows his stuff. I had a 2014 macbook pro with water damage. I replaced the battery and keyboard but I didnt have the tools for a full repair. I saw the reviews on here and sent it over. After some.l complications and persistence, he finally got my laptop working even better than before. Will definitely go back if I need anything else. This store is truly amazing! Frank was very nice and knowledgeable. He fixed my screen fast and for cheap. However since I got my screen fixed my phone has been tweaking. It scrolls on its own, and doesn’t press certain buttons when I try. I also can’t press and hold on the screen or it will lag and stop recording. Is there anything I can do for this? But I would really recommend Frank.

To give comparison, I brought a Dell laptop to Best Buy Geek Squad because it had a cracked screen, Best Buy quoted me $700.00 to repair!! The laptop cost less than $400.00. 911 Tech Repair fixed it for less than $170.00! Great service, fair price, what else can you ask for.

Frank at 911 Tech Repair did a fantastic job communicating the problem, projecting the results, and finishing the job. I dropped my iPhone in water, and it was shutting on and off and the LCD was damaged.Frank gave me a good expectation of what hed find and what it would cost, as well as chances for success.Two days later and for much less money than I expected, my phone is in great shape! He pulled a considerable amount of water out, removed corrosion, replaced the LCD and battery. Good as new, and Ill keep this place in mind for any further trouble I have.

I came here with a rare chip for an obscure cars ECU with broken pins on the mating socket and was hoping this shop could fix or replace the pins. The original socket that was broken apparently was nearly impossible to find a replacement for so I ended up bringing in the closest thing I could find. Given this wasnt a phone or computer or anything remotely common, I realized I was being a difficult customer, but after talking for a bit, it was clear he took pride in the quality of his work, and agreed to fix my weird electronic. His price was very fair and work was excellent. I came back with this chip later with some questions because I was having issues with it, and he helped me figure out that the pins were flipped for my application (no fault of his) and offered to redo it with the pins flipped at no cost. No issues since. I absolutely recommend this shop over all others in the area! Great guy, great work, great price.

Paid for my phone screen to get fixed and 3 weeks later the screen went black. Owner said it would be no charge to fix it since it was under warranty. Ended up having to pay for the screen all over again and was told I would be refunded (and if i wasn’t he would still call to let me know)I never received a phone call back. My phone screen recently went black again for the 3rd time & decided to pay for a different phone rather than going back to replace it for the 3rd time.

Customer Service was outstanding! They replaced my cracked iphone screen in under an hour for $89 (tax included!). Hopefully I will not be replacing my screen again any time soon, but if I do need to replace it, I will not be going anywhere else. The store was clean and comfortable and they even warranty all their work for at least 90 days!
