2013 f150, 102k miles, 27k, 2010 f250 138k miles, 26k just a couple here. high mileage, high priced vehicles that need inspection. lol no thanks. not paying top dollar for a vehicle with over 80k miles on it. just looked at website a truck wit 122k going for 30k lol. over priced seems like these guys look for desperate buyers that will pay to end their search. keep looking around youll eventually find a decent priced vehicle. geez for those prices just take 2 monthly payment and save them to buy a brand truck. wow man price gauging at its finest.

There’s a difference between buying a vehicle from a used car dealership “as is” and being deceitful about selling me a doctored vehicle that won’t pass inspection, I was given money for the repair cost to one thing they told me was wrong with it, exhaust manifold leak, had I know there was other things wrong I’d be giving a better review, this dealership isn’t good for anyone, to rig a power steering return hose is just lazy and low moral in character for the mechanic that works here, I spoke with them on the phone after placing my review before, they yelled at me and said I’m an awful customer and hung up on me until I removed my review, this company is terrible! it is illegal to sell a vehicle that won’t pass state inspection, used or as is. To top it off the check engine light came on, this is my final review in placement as I never received paperwork of the engine being replaced, who buys an engine with no paperwork of any type? Shady, I will also add that they aren’t so big and bad to yell at me in person vs over the phone, this I will be reporting this dealership to the BBB.org, and I will not recommend this place to anyone. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Be aware of this dealership and what they tell you about the condition of their vehicles.The dealership had a mechanic (apparently this mechanic conducts their vehicle inspections and works on their vehicles for sale) conduct a PA state vehicle inspection at the time I bought the 2012 Ram. I was assured the truck passed the inspection and operated well. I did test drive it and it seemed fine. However, on 9/5 a day after I bought it, I notice a screeching noise coming from the left front of the truck. So, on 9/9, I took the Ram to Midas for a scheduled mechanical check. A Midas mechanic performed an inspection and discovered the front left brake was completely worn to the metal, and the right front tire with a sidewalk bulge exhibiting obvious damage. Both conditions are unsafe (and potentially dangerously) and the Ram shouldn’t have passed an inspection according to Midas, who routinely conducts these PA state inspections.The tire damage is in the sidewall causing the need to replace the tire due to the bulge location. The rear tires were damaged due to the over worn, factory shocks still installed from when the vehicle was new - the struts also showed obvious signs of wear.The front break system was degraded due to the completely worn left front pad and required a full repair including replacing the damaged rotor.Contacted the dealer/owner to discuss front brakes having to be replaced and the owner refused any reimbursement for the cost for the front brake repair and wanted me to drive the Ram an hour up to his dealership.I didn’t feel safe driving the truck anywhere let alone back to the dealership or have their shady mechanic conduct repair - as was suggested by the dealership owner.If you’re considering buying a vehicle from this place, have it checked out by a reputable and trustworthy mechanic. Don’t trust the word of the mechanic they use or the dealership.Currently, I have filed a complaint with the state attorney general’s office to deal with the misrepresentation of the vehicle’s condition at the top me of sale and possible fraudulent state inspection.

I totaled my 2007 Toyota Tacoma but it basically was built so safe that despite a terrible accident that other vehicles may have left me dead or crippled, the Tacoma absorbed most of the impact and I was able to walk away from the accident with just a broken left wrist and broken right hand. My insurance company gave me a generous settlement since Toyota Tacomas hold their value very well. They also helped me shop online for a replacement Toyota Tacoma which is how I ended up at Checker Flag autos. I found the staff to be friendly and I purchased a 2009 Toyota Tacoma that is almost identical to my totaled 2007 Tacoma. I negotiated a fair price and received a 3-month warranty since I felt that if there were any outstanding issues on the truck, they would appear in the first three months. Two months have gone by and I am very happy with my first used vehicle as I havent had any issues with the truck and it may have a couple of imperfections on the body but overall the truck looks great and it was an easy transition to go from a 2007 Toyota Tacoma to a 2009 Toyota Tacoma. I would recommend Checker Flag Autos as the salesman showed genuine interest in my accident which wasnt expected and I actually like the replacement Tacoma better than the 2007 Tacoma. I searched several online used car websites but even though I say color isnt important, I ended up with a beautiful dark green Tacoma and was able to retrieve parts from the 2007 Tacoma at the impound lot and transfer them to the 2009 replacement Tacoma. Instead of being 6 feet under, Im almost completely recovered and having a replacement Toyota Tacoma gave me back my independence so I dont need to rely on Uber and Lyft. I would buy another vehicle from Checker Auto.

Had a really unpleasant experience earlier today. Very sexiest men working here. They made my partner and I feel about two inches tall. They werent helpful, didnt answer our questions and provided no resources.

We purchased a truck off of them last year...within 3 months, we already had to replace the tires, the battery, and the radiator. Now, the leaf springs broke right in half because they were so rusted, the catalytic converter went, and the undercarriage is in such poor condition that the shop refuses to even replace the leaf springs, they said we’re better off junking it. We still owe over $6,000 on this vehicle. I do not recommend this place at all.

Extremely disappointed with this dealership. We drove two hours (one way) to look at a truck we were very interested in buying. We were deceived about a few things including interest rates. The lady on the phone told me that she could probably sell me this specific truck with a 3% or 4% interest rate. When I got there she said the interest rate was 10% because of the age of the truck. (I have a credit score of about 750) I asked her why she quoted me a low rate on the phone when she knew I was calling about this specific vehicle.Once details were worked out and a test drive was done, it was negotiated that four new tires would be put on and we would pick it up Monday afternoon. We were on our way to pick up the truck with our two year old (again, it’s a two hour drive and we spend about $30 in tolls) when we received a call from the dealership asking if we were still coming to get the truck. We said yes we are on the way right now. About ten minutes later we received another call from the dealership saying sorry but they just sold the truck to someone else. I’m not sure why they think this is good business, we will never use them to buy a car in the future and will make sure none of our family or friends do either. I think the truck would have been a great buy but the problem is that these are not honest people that you can trust. They say one thing and do another.The other thing that concerned me was that I was going to trade my wife’s car in for scrap. (They said they would give me 300) the only problem was that the title was in my wife’s name and my wife couldn’t come for the deal. They told me to have my wife sign the title and then I could bring it for them to notarize. I called Runkles (a titling/notarizing agency) who said this is illegal and my wife needs to sign the title in the presence of the notary.It is obvious that this dealer cuts corners and does not have the buyers best interest in mind. All they want to do is make a quick deal. That is why they offered it to someone the same day I was coming to buy it after agreeing on a cash price with me.

The price was competitive and the customer service experience was solid. It was an easy buying experience. I bought the car with 85k miles and there have been no major issues so far (see below).Used cars in the lot were parked with physical bumper-to-bumper contact. This didnt appear to damage my car, so I bought the car anyway. The car was also dirty inside, so no vacuuming was done.The car had a couple undisclosed issues that required $150 in DIY fixes (to avoid hundreds of dollars more in shop labor and repair). Dont expect the dealer to disclose problems, youll have to do the examination work yourself or have a third-party do it.According to online reviews, the included third-party 90-day warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on.

This is the true experience, you gonna pay alot more then advertised. So they posted a vehicles for $11000, i put down 2000 thinking ill be financing 9000 with a high 6% rate. Not the case after tax tags and a financing fee I end up paying 16000. The manager Tommy was 100% professional id have to give him that. There was a issue with the struts and battery. But I understand its used and they not try check every little inch. which they should since ppl safety is at risk. All in all I rate the experience a B

I went to finance a 2008 Ford Focus for $4499 cash. When the guy inside informed the mechanics that Id be test driving the car, they brought a whole bunch of equipment out to the car. Before even getting in the car, the mechanic came up to me and told me that the rust on the tire will fall off as [Im] driving and that Ill hear a weird noise, which was sketchy to begin with. Then as Im driving down Bristol Pike, the tire pressure light pops on. Okay. We get back to the dealership, the guy tells us our options for payments. Did the math for the payments, Id be paying $10,000 PLUS my $2,000 down for the car. The guy starts arguing that we wouldnt be paying that much for it, implying that I cant do basic math. The car was dirty on the inside and, because I was planning on getting it, the guy sighed when I asked if they could try to wipe it out, as I had dirt on my pants after I had gotten out. If youre paying cash for a car, its worth it to go there, but just be careful. If youre financing, forget about it. Run.

With any used car dealership, you are going to be purchasing a car thats been owned and driven before you buy it. You should not expect that youll get a like-new vehicle at a used price. Its hit and miss. Maybe you will and maybe you wont. Just be smart and research and then hope for the best. Also, an as is car means just what it says...youre buying it as it is and with no guarantees. People need to stop crying foul and feeling so victimized. I just purchased a used car from this company and was treated with respect. There are a couple of things that need to be dealt with but theyre mostly esthetics, not mechanical. Phil is the man who sold it to me and he gave me an awesome deal. He paid for the safety and emissions inspection out of his own pocket. If something goes wrong with my vehicle in the future, Im not going to whine that I was sold a vehicle (which I chose to purchase used and as is) that was a lemon. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy a car. Just do your research and know that theres no guarantees on the current or future mechanical soundness of the vehicle you choose.

Very happy with my purchase car runs great and the price was right. They took care of two minor issues. Will highly recommend Checker flag auto Sales. I first posted this because they were so nice to deal with. After two weeks with the car I have now spent 1700.00 in repairs. The rear tires exploded and needed to be replace, I had the brakes checked needed front and rear brakes and all new rotarers. Also front lower ball joints were unsafe for driving. And I to replace the rear calipers. And to be safe I replace almost bald front tires also the hood latch would not work that had to be replaced also. The car had a new inspection sticker on it there is no way this car was safe for sale in this condition. I do plan further action against this company and will never buy another car from them nor recommend them to any one. I realize it was an older car but these repairs should of been made before this car was sold. very disappointed.

WARNING Do not come here!! I came here early December in hopes of financing a car for my fiancée for Christmas WRONG I came here all the way from jersey in hopes to drive off the lot with the car the same day. Everything went great with the deal even though they forced the deal through so I could get accepted and raised the price of the car two thousand more then originally what it was listed for okay weird but I didn’t sweat it I kept through with everything. I couldn’t take the car the same day because I didn’t have insurance OKAY that’s fine. Attempted multiple insurance agencies trying to get this car insured with full coverage because of course you can’t drive off the lot without it. none would give me a low quote no matter what I tried. Okay that’s my problem but the problem with these guys are I attempted to come in to them that next Saturday morning (couldn’t make it all the rest of the week because I am a working individual and I work 12 hour shifts throughout the week so only chance i do get IS Saturday mornings when I can come with some one else) when I came in on this particular morning I spoke with the female at the front desk telling her that the insurance companies weren’t really giving me any low rates. She was really not having it she wanted the deal to go through so bad she jumped the gun telling me don’t bother talking myself out the deal because it’s already done and my deposit wasn’t refundable!! Told me if I didn’t want to pay for the full price of the car (over 15000 for a 2006) then buy the car out full price before the term is up. Okay that’s not what I came for I literally came to tried to improvise another option since i wanted the car so badly) I was already skeptical about these guys but this made it even worse! So I drove all the way back home after she told me that her insurance guy can come up with a better insurance quote for me okay that’s fine. Called me later that day to tell me they found a better quote deal I was perfectly okay with that!!! That insurance company told me I couldn’t have TWO different agencies so I attempted to add my other two vehicles under that policy but that didn’t work either the price went up wayyy too much for my budget. So with what she told me stuck in my head I continued to search for insurance as low as I could get it but NO LUCK. It took time because I really don’t get free time to do anything so i searched with what little time I had. I attempted texting these guys about my deposit and calling NO ANSWER. I never drove off the lot with the car and never read anything stating my despot wasn’t refundable and yet they still don’t want to give me MY MONEY back. I was already skeptical about these guys because they LIED on my application to get me approved. Probably LIED to the insurance company for me to get a low quote. Called me allll throughout the day while I was at work working 12 hour shifts 5+ days a week asking me to get the info for the car. They have you sign papers stating if anything go wrong you can’t take them to court!! Really I never heard of that before I should of walked out when I seen that part!!! But still me being young and not knowing much about car lots came here and got ROBBED for my hardworking money and they are just getting away with it !! And all I want is my deposit back !!! They don’t care about your situation all they car about is gettin the deal through !!! PLEASE do not come here what ever you do if you don’t consider any review please consider this one !!!!
