This place was amazing they had my car repaired the same day I took it in, had all my suspension work fixed and alignment done, I will definitely be taking it back for maintenance, they test drove it and looked it over thoroughly. I knew I was gonna pay some money for the year and type my car is but it was no where near what I thought! Definitely a decent price for all I had to do to it! I will definitely be using them from now on for all car repairs they explained everything it needed and even told me just the maintenance work it needed. Very pleased with the work that was done and I have had no issues since I had it fixed and I’ve driven everywhere since then.

New in the area and one of my tires was giving me trouble. My car is an all wheel drive so i decided to do all 4 tires. Did not regret it since the tires all terrain looks more beefy. Work was done as soon as my tires came in. Was happy with the look of my car.

Great experience at J&R. I had an appointment for an oil change. Work started at appointed time completed in a few minutes. Staff was friendly and informative. They pointed out early wear on rear brake rotors. Some shops would have pushed for immediate repair but J&R said that wasn’t necessary and only recommended monitoring wear and making repairs when needed.

Brought my Trailblazer in for an alignment as I’d just replaced the rack and pinion. They told me that they couldn’t do an alignment because my control. arm bushings were shot. They even kept my work ticket open until I replaced the bushings. Did the work in a few hours. J&R is now my go to repair shop. Thanks, guys

The guys at J & R are great. Sam is very professional and accommodating with appointment scheduling and gets you in as soon as possible. They check your car out thoroughly and give you a report on what is needed, however I’ve never felt pressured to get any work done. Any work that they have done for me has been done right the first time and their prices seem to be in line with other shops. Love their coupon program! A great place to do business and I would highly recommend J&R for servicing.

My air conditioning in my Mazda quit putting out cold air. I called them and they fit me in in the morning. In less than an hour they were able to diagnose and fix the problem and refill it with freon. Great service.

Our car died on I-40 near Crossville, TN on a Sunday afternoon. After getting it towed to Advance Auto Parts for a new battery and finding out the alternator was bad, we dropped it off at J & R for repairs. I would give this place 0 stars. Trying to take advantage of a single parent. Told me my brake on the right side was locked up and said almost $700 to replace. Got it home, and nope. Just needed new brakes. Wow just wow how pathetic.

If you aren’t knowledgeable in mechanics, the price of mechanic work etc or seem like you may not know, don’t come here because they will try and scam you. My boyfriend and I brought our car up because it was having a front end issue, overheating issue, and an oil leak. We get called back with a list of things wrong. Told our breaks were metal to metal even though they had been replaced 2 months prior etc. Billy tells my boyfriend it’s $1,700 in work before tax. We can not afford that so we ask for a small amount of things to be fixed that we cannot do ourselves. Billy calls us back the next day to tell us it will cost $2k before tax to do less work than the list he quoted us $1700 for the day prior. My boyfriend responds “so it was $1700 for a list of things, but $2000 for less than half?” And Billy says “yes sir”. We asked what all was done, they say diagnosis and Bearings. We say we’ll just pay for that and get the car. Billy tells us it’s going to be about $1000 for that little bit of work. My father in law came with my boyfriend today to pick the car up, and had a talk with the manager since they have used him several times before and they lowered our price to $600. We will never use them again and make sure everyone we know doesn’t use it either. We’re a family of truck people, we know how this business works. You don’t scam innocent people. Billy was a sweet guy and seemed really caring, but he didn’t care to try and take as much of our money as he could.

After calling multiple mechanics in Crossville, they were the only one with the manpower to get me in the same day.Service was very fast. Prices were reasonable.One of the few places left that know how to operate a business.

I had been told at a dealership that my car needed a very expensive repair and they adamantly said that my wheels might literally fall off if I didnt schedule the repair asap. I called and spoke with Bobby, he got my car in the very next morning and told me the cost of said repair, which was half of what the dealership quoted. After looking over my car, Bobby called to tell me that it was not in fact the wheel bearings, I only needed new tires and an alignment. My family and I were stranded in Crossville for the 4th of July. All other mechanics had a 3 to 3 week wait (some refused because I was a new customer). J and R had our vehicle fixed and we were back on the road within 24 hours. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We are incredibly thankful for their quick turnaround time and quality of job. My Subaru Tribeca runs better than it did before I dropped it off. I would highly recommend this place.

I do my own work but certain repairs Im forced to take the truck in to the shop. The ac compressor went out so a full service was needed. They quoted me the cheapest price out of 4 places I called in town. They also were able to fit me in that day, and finished in a few hours! The quote was accurate and no surprise charges when I came to pay and get the truck. (One minor mistake when quoted price, but he called me back right away to inform me he made the mistake and was sorry. Wasnt something I liked to hear, but it happens and I appreciate the call and honesty.) Also I was assured if there are any issues with the repairs to bring it back to them and they will make it right. Very satisfied with the service I received.

Wonderful experience! I was on the road from Nashville to a dog show when my minivan started clinking, decelerating and engine light flashing. I had our two dogs in the car, and barely made it off I-40 to AutoZone, who recommended J & R down the street as a reliable mechanic. They were very kind, professional and most of all, correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They even have me a ride to Enterprise to get my rental turned in! I was so happy that they were honest and very reasonable. My only regret Id that they arent closer to home !!

I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with J and R. We were stranded out of state on the side of the highway with no clue who to call. Thankfully we called J and R - they had a wrecker out to us in less than an hour, and got us back on the road in less time than that, all on a Friday afternoon. The gentleman who took our call and handled everything for us was so kind and caring - I wish we remembered his name. I highly recommend their service. I would give 10 stars if I could.

We live in Indiana and were vacationing in TN. We had a sudden brake problem. We own old cars and spend a fair amount of time and money at repair shops. I can honestly say Ive never felt so satisfied by other mechanics than I did with the work done at J&R. From the top down the experience was honest, timely and friendly. Had an oil change from another establishment that went wrong and went to J&R to get everything fixed up right. J&R staff were fantastic, fast and even took the extra step of degreasing underneath the car and washing the oil off the hatch. They also followed up with me a couple days later to make sure we were doing ok. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

I have been to J&R twice since I moved here, with two different cars. On both occasions, one being just last week, I ended up with a flat tire from a slow leak. The first time it was a small nail used in furniture repairs. This time a small piercing on the tire. My coupon also said I would have a 27 point inspection, which I did not receive and they did not do, or they would have filled the tire. They reset the oil gauge but did not reset the tire gauge. it was reading the front tire was low but it was actually the back tire.When it happened the first time I was suspicious, the second time... you have lost my trust. I am a single woman who takes care of her vehicles and want and expect what I pay for. I drive 60 miles a day and dont need to be stranded on the side of the road because someone who I paid to do a job, failed to do the job completely.

Recently bought my ‘07 Silverado and brought it in to have the oil changed, battery replaced and check out the mechanics. Great customer service! Had to get a last minute oil change before a trip. I called in the morning around 8:30 am and they said they would squeeze me in sometime during the day. Dropped off my car and took their loaner car (free of charge) back to work with me. They called me back around 11:30 am stating my car was finished. Sam took very good care of my car. Since I would be traveling, I needed to have my car running smoothly with no problems. It was going to take overnight to do all the work so I was provided a loaner car to use.As far as I know everything was done properly and I had no problems on the road.

I forgot my laptop down there.. in the lobby while waiting on my new alternator when they were done just jumped up, paid the bill and left. And left my laptop there in the lobby. Its hard for me to find time to leave the house, my fathers caretaker so I cant leave the house, theyve had it almost a year now and I just got off the phone with them theyre very polite theyre very polite and understanding they still have it in safe keeping very trustworthy

Was passing through Crosswell on a delivery when my alternator bering decided it had enough. Called AAA and was refered to this shop. I have a very hard time walking, some days worse than others and it was one of those days. The employees went out of their way to assist me even driving me to a local hotel for the night. I hadnt arrived till after 2 pm and knew that my repair would not be started till the next day. Every day my van is not rolling Im losing money and the added expense of a hotel cuts even deeper so I was worried that my van would be finished late in the day or the following day. They promised and delivered my van back at 1030 am the next day. They picked me up at my hotel and I returned to pay up and take possession of my van then was on my way. The cost of repairs was about average at best but being away from home you are at there mercy and my bill reflected only the actual work that was required with no questionable add ons. I always wait 4-5 days before reviewing a repair shop just in case you never know, and I highly recommend J and R Automotive. Above and beyond customer service, diagnostics and repair. Also no gouging you on parts.

We were on I40 and received a dash notice of a required oil change. I found J&R Automotive on Google. We didn’t have an appointment and needed to be back on the road ASAP. J&R took us without an appointment and had us back on the road quickly. We also got a 25 point inspection at no additional cost. Great customer service. My last oil change in DC at a Jiffy Lube forced me to visit a tire dealer to reset the tire pressure at an additional cost to me of $40. I’d return to J&R any time.

I thought I had totally trashed my transmissionFrom hauling a 24’ enclosed car trailer full of house stuff for a total of 2100 miles.The fluid was dark brown. When I called Jim he said I could bring it in the next morning.I didn’t need a rental car so Sam gave me a ride home. He just happened to live just a few houses away.To my surprise I received a call later that morning and was told no codes and it looked like it just needed a fluid change plus my front wheel hubs were bad that happened to be one of the noises I Hurd thinking it was the trans. They are a little more expensive than some other local places but the extra care with my transportation has always been worth it. I had just got to town on a Sunday for a golfing trip when my ABS and Electronic Parking Brake lights started flashing. I looked in my manual and realized the situation was serious. I called J&R as soon as they opened on Monday and had the car towed. Jim gave me a loaner and let me know the cost for diagnostics and what the service plan was. They ordered the parts and was able to fix the car quickly. Very happy with their service and was thrilled to have a loaner so I could still get to my golf outing! Highly recommend J&R Automotive!
