There are a ton of liquor stores in RI,but we were making a trip here today because they had a new sangria my wife wanted to try. Could not belive the huge selection and variety. We found what we came specifically for, and some craft beers, mixers, and wine.The store is organized very well making it easy to find what you want. We were especially impressed with the gift basket selection. Prices were also excellent. Definatly our new go to liquor store.

Selection is out of this world, on craft beer. Ive never seen a store with more than these guys; Must be 3 isles. Also great selection in the fridge. And lots, and lots of wine to select from.

Nice store but delivery takes forever! I could have ordered 100 pizzas and it would have been faster. Next time I’ll just take an Uber over and back. Called and got a rude response.

Solid place. Recommend coming in by way of New London Ave to Sockanosset Cross Rd instead of by Pontiac Ave because the intersection at Sockanosset and Pontiac is H E C T I C. Good selection of wines, neat little Editors Selection and good selection on Whiskeys, Gin, Brandy, Vodka and Aperitifs. Solid go-to for the more enthused spirt mixers and drinkers. Wednesday military gets 10% off!

This store has a great selection and great baskets ready for gift giving. I shopped for wine which they had. I was looking for 3 Olives, Loopy flavor. Clerk told me they hadnt had that flavor in months. I have found this true at many liquor stores. However, they did have other flavors in that brand. They also had another fav Vodka, New Amsterdam.Side Note: 3 Olives Loopy can be found at Haxtons, Rt. 2, Warwick.

As I’m writing this on the 18th of February at 9:11PM, the Google hours AS WELL AS the hours on the front of the store read closing at 9:30PM. Wine & More always had my business as well as the many friends and family I recommend to this place for craft beer and more. I called about 10-15 before 9 and asked about a specific beer being in stock. When the gentleman told me they had it in, I went ahead and confirmed that they were open till 9:30PM as I was coming all the way from Providence. The gentleman told me they were. I pulled up to Wine & More at about 9:03 to find the doors shut. When I called the store, someone who claimed to be the manager automatically had an attitude about “already being closed” and “there’s nothing I can do.” Always went on to argue with me about it being “impossible” that someone had JUST told me they’d be open until 9:30PM. If these are the hours, maybe communicate it better by editing the Google ones as well as the ones at your FRONT DOOR. Also, check your employees giving wrong info via phone to customers driving from different cities. Terrible customer service experience and I’m shocked as the experiences before were usually the exact opposite. I definitely will not return and will be public about this experience as well.

Cider selection has improved greatly! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Anytime we have a question, the folks here are so helpful. We found a microbrew beer we liked when we were visiting PA and wanted to find it in RI... they found it for us!

I went here to purchase a bottle of wine for a dinner party. When I asked an employee for a recommendation they looked at me like I had asked them their Social Security Number. I then decided to just pick one out myself and head to the counter. When I got there, the individual at the counter was, and this is not hyperbole, the nastiest person I have ever had the displeasure to meet. Its a liquor store. Your job isnt that bad. Just be nice to people. I will never come back here again. Thats not a threat. Thats a vow to myself.

My licence was expired due to The pandemic. Showed him 3 forms of ID that were also expired. Then I drove 15 minutes home to get my passport. He almost refused my passport. I understand that expired ID. But the unfriendliness During the entire episode was disheartening. The only store that carried a specific wine for a birthday present. Then he tried to tell me my passport was Expired he was looking at the issue date. Not sure why my official ID from the government was causing him to ruffle feathers. Rude unhappy manager.

Went in with my brother just so I didn’t have to sit in the hot car and wait he got his stuff we went up to the cashier and she ID both of us. I am not 21 and was not buying anything at all so we left he tried to go back in by himself still won’t serve him. It ridiculous there should be a sign saying no over under 21 can enter. What do people with young kid do when they go here and can’t leave their kid in the car not get serve. They will not have my brother business anymore very sad

Prices are a bit high compared to other liquor stores, howeve it is made up in the fact the selection is wide and varied.

Wines & More has a wide selection of wines and other spirits. Large store, prices are reasonable.

Fast and friendly service!

I dared to step 2 inches out of the 6 ft circles on the floor and you cashier yelled at me to get back on my circle. Really!?! I am well aware of what is going on and do not need to be scolded. I was interested in purchasing some additional items you have around your register area. Needless to say i did not, and like i said i will not go into any store and be yelled at. There are many others that would like the business .

Newer store clerk with the face shield seems to pick and choose when you can use your debit card purchases under 6$ dollars. Bought under 6$ debit before but suddenly cant today? Cant even enforce there own line rules considering the lines are formed to however customers please and not based on the sign making it confusing. Lost a customer.

Massive liquor store with the biggest Organic Wine selection I have ever seen. Super friendly staff..

Stopped here for wine and beer to take to my parents home for a family gathering. Was surprised by the variety of wine and purchased wines from Portugal. Also found a couple of Labrador wines to give to my parents as a gift because they have labs in different colors. They loved the gift and the wine was very good!

Much more than wine, nice store

I was visiting a buddy up in Cranston and wanted to pick up a Strawberry wine I had recently tried to bring over for dinner. When I asked if they carried some from Baldwin vineyards in NY, she seemed not to know what I was talking about and tried to tell me there isnt strawberry wine and that wine is made of grapes (I know this, but fruit wines do exist???). either way I couldnt find it and instead picked up a merlot for dinner but when I went to pay I showed my passport card and the cashier wouldnt accept it and told me I needed my drivers license? this is a valid US form of ID. Now usually I would have my license but I I flew up here for a visit and was ubering to my buddys place so I only had my passport card as my ID for the flight. I tried to explain it to her but she told me she wouldnt sell me the bottle without a license. I had to leave empty-handed, which was disappointing because I then had to make my buddys girlfriend run out for a bottle to a different store. Super frustrating.

This was such a good find liquor store. If you are looking for a few specific beers and wines you might be able to find them here if not they are very helpful on ordering them for you. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and patient. they have a section with single beers, so you dont have to commit to an entire six pack which I found extremely useful. This will be my new go-to spot to pick up some spirits. I love this place for its huge selection of rotating beers, wines and assorted liquors!

Biggest selection of craft beer i have seen

Frequent here a lot. Left after a $450 purchase and when I got back to my house noticed they over charged me on my slip - simply transposed quantities. no big deal if they handled properly. I Called. Manager Steve was over the top annoyed that I asked the girl to speak with him as manager. Told me nothing he could do unless I drove back 45 minutes with the slip. NO apologies. I Drove back 45 minutes and got the same annoyed attitude - zero apologies. I will never frequent there again.

This is the supermarket of booze. Huge store with wine tasting kiosks and a beer cave. Prices are pretty darn good. The location, however, is tough. Two complaints are parking area too small and no place to put the carriages once done with them. Outside of that...my favorite liquor store in RI. (OK, love ONeills but not as good).

Sale prices and specials are good, otherwise their regular prices are mostly higher than other stores.

My purchase didnt ring up at the correct displayed price. They ended up owing me $12. I guess the sale was over, but they forgot to pull the sale price displays the night before. Woman at the register was a little ditzy, but that was fine. They need to retrain her on how to put the paper in the receipt printer. She told me her printer wasnt working and that I didnt need a receipt. I told her that Id like to have a receipt though, as I paid with a credit card. Printer needed paper! She put in a new roll, but still couldnt print my receipt. Manager came over and noticed the paper was in backwards! Hello??? Glad I persisted on getting a receipt, because thats how I noticed all 12 bottles of wine rung in at a higher price than what was displayed. Aside from that, my visit was fine (really didnt walk around much, as I found what I went in for right in the front part of store). First time in this store.

This location has a huge variety, you are bound to find something. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful!

It was convenient to pull in there right after work to grab my Super Bowl beer and I was happy with the service quick in-and-out nice layout friendly staff.

I used to enjoy shopping here but then they stopped selling Dog Tag Brewing. Although I was really unhappy about it I continued shopping here because of the military discount, helpful and friendly staff and vast selection. But then they changed their policy on military discounts. 😞 Now they only give them on Wednesdays. Well I wasnt in the Air Force only on Wednesdays so why should my right to a discount be limited to a specific day of the week. It doesnt make sense to me. There are other liquor stores so now I shop elsewhere.

I walked into the store around 9:45. I made my selections and walked up to the counter. There were two sales people waiting for me. I put my drink down and immediately was asked for my ID in a super rude way. I told her hold on perceived to take it out . Then one of them turns to the next customer in line and the sales person told me that we were together so she would have to check both of our IDs together, then she asked where the third person we came in went. (I did not come in with any one) I thought it was very rude and strange that they called the next person in line, check their ID, and would not give me my ID until they were finished with hers. Then to ring me out next to this person... I dont want my card number in view of anyone else.Extremely rude, odd, and unnecessary. There are plenty of other places to buy drinks, and I will be spending my money elsewhere.

They are kind of discriminatory here.My mom asked me to come to Wines&More and buy a bottle of red wine for Thanksgiving.Today I showed up to buy what my mom asked. I am 26 and brought along my girlfriend who is 20. When we get to the register, the clerk asked to see our IDs. I inform him that my GF is underage. At this point the clerk immediately starts taking everything off the table saying he cannot sell to me.I then ask the clerk if he can hold the wine bottle under the counter (so that I can come back into the store alone and buy it). The clerk responds by telling me he cannot sell to me.However, parents come in here all the time with their children and the store always sells to the parents despite them being in the company of children (who are under 21). So whats with this policy? Why are some people allowed to buy alcohol with underage people with them while some others are not? This indicates the clerk judged my appearance, without even looking at my ID he concluded I was up to no good.If you dont want anyone under 21 then thats fine; put up a sign and enforce it. But dont be subjective and allow some people to buy alcohol with minors and not allow others, because thats a dangerous area and gets discriminatory real quick. Your clerk judged me and there should be no subjectivity at the counter at the clerks discretion.Anyways, I had to drive across town to another liquor store to buy the wine we needed. They didnt have the larger bottle size so I had to buy two small bottles. Who the hell brings two bottles of the same wine to a Thanksgiving party?

Wines and More are an excellent liquor store to find great microbrews and lots of German and Belgian beer which are my favorite!

Great selection of craft beer, spirits and wines. Very knowledgeable staff but it is on the pricey side. They do have Mix-a-6 which is great for trying out new beers.

Expensive.Good selection but youre paying for it. Most selections are $2-$3 more than anywhere else.The customer service is horrible. As you wait in line you can watch 3 or 4 employees talking away all while you struggle not to drop a bottle waiting on that long line.

Large clean store, with a great selection of craft beers from all over the world. They also have tons of wines, as well as just about any other kind of alcoholic beverage you might want.They host tastings for beer and wine. Theres a decent selection of wine and beer accessories, fancy snacks, and wine and beer publications. Staff is helpful but sparse. Its a warehouse style store and I would like if they had more info on the shelves for the wines. Some info is available, but basic.

An ok selection of whiskey/bourbons compared to some of the larger stores.But as a newbie to this genre of alchohol, one of the employees, Mark, gave more than enough info and education to help me make a choice in the right direction. Ill definitely b back to pick his brain in the future.

My favorite liquor store! The beer selection is just fantastic- and changing, so every trip you find something new. They have a huge wine and liquor selection. There are tastings held in a large back room and often on the sales floor someone handing out samples.

I was assisted immediately. I needed some recommendations on wines and she was knowledgeable. I took her suggestion and the wine taste great. The store was clean and the shelves were in great order.

Bought beer from here 5 times in the past. This time the tell me my drivers license is “not recognized” it is a North Carolina ID. You should have the systems in place to identify genuine IDs, so that you do not burden your customers. Horrible experience.

This place is huge, and they have just about anything you can imagine—top-shelf spirits as well as your standard stuff, wines both commonplace and obscure, and a solid craft beer section. Good prices, incredible selection, and the staff Ive encountered have always been very nice (helpful but not pushy).

Selection of craft beer is not bad however majority of the beers have been sitting around for quite some time. As I was selecting a few of the craft IPAs I came across beers that were canned over six months ago. IPAs are to be consumed immediately and not sit on a shelf or refrigerator for more than a month. Prices are also high.

The prices are great. They have a wide range of inventory and price points. I go out of my way to go here.

They offer a Pick 6 discount, and have a wide selection of craft beers in singles. We went there to pick up a brand that wasnt available in any of our closer stores.

Fantastic selection. I recommend a separate line for people who buy lottery tickets and nips. I hate getting behind these people, they take too much time and slows the line down for everyone else.

Wonderful selection, a taste for everyone. My favorite is the Früli strawberry beer. Everyone should visit this store..it worth the trip if you dont live in the area. Staff is friendly, helpful and quite knowledgeable.

Have you heard of Total Wine & More? This is that only in Rhode Island. Great selection of beer, wine and spirits. Nice staff, too. Did you know it is illegal in Rhode Island to have chain liquor stores? Went once and will be back. Isn’t far from where I’m staying. Cheers!UPDATE (July 18, 2018): Needed beer so I went back to Wines & More. Last week 2 of the beers I bought were expired. I posted about it on Facebook and they reached out and said someone would be in contact with me. Never happened... No biggie. Tonight I was explaining my situation to the lady ringing me out said, Oh, yeah. Are you Ricky Potts? Yep! My order was roughly $56... Then she took off the 6 most expensive beers off my tab and gave me a few additional discounts. By the time I left my bill was $27. Tip of the cap to Erin and the entire team at Wines & More for truly understanding what customer service is all about. I am beyond impressed and they have a customer for life. Cheers!!!
