If you love shopping this retail store, I suggest you dont apply because youll be disappointed in the interview process. The interview was conducted on such an elementary level that it felt like I was interviewing for Sesame Street! This is clearly not a position for a person with lots of customer service/retail experience as they are looking for basic entry level puppets to fill this position.

Went to LL Bean to the return department, was basically told I was a liar over a belt with a broken buckle. Ridiculous I dont know what the lady was thinking but she had no intention of making good on the belt again ridiculous I thought they were better than that no stars for LLBean today

We have been longtime L.L.Bean shoppers i previously purchased several pairs of work pants. They were okay. But poorly made for the price of nearly 60. Before long the non USA made clothing wore out and the cheap zipper broke I tried to take the pants back for llbeans we stand behind all our products lifetime warranty only to be DENIED and told that because my pants purchase can be seen in the system and i had in fact purchased them at the Cranston location. I did not have a paper receipt for the 4 pairs of pants purchased a couple years previous and that I was out of luck !!!! So needless to say wewill not be shopping or spending any hard earned money at LL Bean anymore. !!!!!!!!!!!

They had some pretty good camping gear here. I kind of forgot they had some nice stuff, because they are so close to REI. They have a really nice super lightweight hiking tent worth checking out.

Had a great experience for my first time at an LL Bean store. The store was quite neat for being pretty busy. Being just after Christmas there was a lot of people here. The staff was super friendly. My favorite part of this was that I had seen something that I really liked online, and while I was checking the in store availability it said I could reserve it for 2 business days! Seeing how there was only one left in the size and color I wanted, I was in luck. They even send an email when they grab it and put it in the back for you so you know its there and waiting for you. This is all well and good, but the great clothes, shoes and items are the real star. They are top notch and I love them. Customer for life.

Grace was very rude. Made us feel as though we were under interrogation when first walking into the store to do exchanges and returns. Repeatedly saying there was nothing she could do about situations there was evidence of the product from being sold from your facility still would not except the return or exchange. As explained very rude very short and abrupt with us. We would not want to go back to the store again!

Long a favorite store, l visited for after Christmas sales. Found a great replacement for my hiking pants that are finally wearing out after 25 years. Picked up a Bean Bag Toss came (often called Corn Hole) on triple sale. They have limited outdoor equipment like Stand Up Paddle Boards (wish I had bought theirs) and snow shoes, some packs and dog stuff, but is mostly clothes. Staff there were all helpful friendly and polite. Nice place.

This is a very nice store with good quality clothing. It can get quite crowded and have long lines at times. Parking is good. This particular L.L. Bean is located in Garden City, which is a lovely shopping and dining area. Its easy to find. Just look for the giant yellow boot!

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Im not sure how they have the manager Erin working there honestly. I went in today to do an even exchange with a coat I had purchased within the last year because it had a small tear. I talked to a sales rep and she said it was absolutely fine but Id have to pay the difference because they couldnt apply the same sale. She told me I could apply for a credit card to get 25% off. I walked away for a moment to talk with my husband first. I came back through the line deciding to open the credit card and go through with the exchange. I got a different employee this time (spoiler alert: it was the manager Erin) who gave me the worst customer service Ive ever received in my life. She got extremely rude to me and said I couldnt do the exchange because its not within the policy. Now at this point its not about the exchange, its about needing to follow through on what you say. Ive worked in customer service for ten years and we would *never* go back on what an employee said even if it was wrong. We called customer service who told us to go back in and speak to manager. This is when Erin had her shining moment to be able to throw it in our face that she is the manager and still wouldnt do the return. As we all know this is the highlight of every rude managers day. Meanwhile Im like decked out head to toe in ll bean apparel. Ive NEVER returned something there before. And Im not a psycho customer. Just a normal person being treated like trash. It was honestly unacceptable behavior. Customer service is not what it used to be.

Purchased quality boots at a great price and they shipped it to my home for free because they did not have my size in the store. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store was neat and organized.

Nice LL Bean store. Not as large as some Ive visited. Didnt have as much camping, boating, and biking stuff as larger stores, but had great clothes selection. Clean, well-lit, etc. Very nice staff. Ill return!

LL Bean has great stuff but their 25% off sale ended yesterday. Prices are a little bit more than I can afford on my budget except when they are having a sale, but the quality of the product is very good.

I was looking forward to having this store in my area, as it is always an advantage to being able to try on clothes...for me, especially slacks. The selection is very limited, however, so the upside remains that you can return items ordered through the catalog to the store. I hope the store does so well that expansion will be necessary!

Im a huge fan of LL Bean and was thrilled to learn that they were opening a store in RI. However, my enthusiasm waned once I visited the new store. Unlike other Bean stores Ive frequented, this store is small and lacks the variety other stores offer. The employees were helpful and friendly in typical Bean fashion but the overall experience was a disappointment. Perhaps its a statement on the changing retail model where the Internet rules but if youre serious about entering a new market territory you should make a splash not I drip.

Heh, overall I dont like the chain, except to buy my dogs clothes and jackets. Its a small LL Bean, relatively new to the area. Never a sale section and not worth my time.

While it is nice to have an LL Bean store in RI finally it was a small small store. The mens department was on the left side and was lacking a lot of variations in clothes the nice employees said you can order online. I would rather try clothes on before I buy them. The LL Bean stores are in Mass are bigger. Then the shoe department takes up most of the back. They had a small kid section and the womens section was almost the same size as the mens maybe slightly bigger. I found the experience lacking like Ive seen in the other LL Bean stores.
