On the night of May 30th, I made a reservation with U-Haul to pick-up from Azusa and drop-off in Fullerton. (I was moving in my wife from Azusa)The next day, as I’m in Fullerton and ready to drop off the truck, I found out on the app that they switched my drop-off location to Covina (20-30 miles away) without telling me.I tried calling Customer Service to help me switch it back, but all she said was “I put it in the notes here” but wasn’t able to approve the change.So I was forced to either pay fees for dropping it off at the “wrong drop-off location” or pay fees for going over the “agreed 30 miles” and having to spend extra on gas.I ended up saying “screw it, I don’t have time to drive back to Covina” and dropped it off in Fullerton.And now, they’re trying to charge me $236 later for “not dropping it off”.And when confronted about it - no one’s taken any accountability or any responsibility. Just excuses after excuses and “nothing we can do about it”.I’ve dealt with all a lot of bad service over the years, but nothing comes close to this. And honestly, if I could, rate this place zero stars.There’s a lot of things I didn’t even mention like incredibly rude staff and the fact that they wasted my time by changing my selected pick-up location right when I arrived. But this is already bad enoughIf you’re looking for a honest place to rent a truck to help you move, then please, for the love of God, go to Budget or Enterprise.DO NOT go to U-Haul (and especially U-Haul in Covina).
If you value your time, DO NOT go here! Pick up and drop off were a huge production. None of the employees working the counter knew what the hell they were doing. The General Manager just sits in the office and lets them struggle. She doesn’t come out to assist them, but reprimands them in front of customers instead. I spent a total of over an hour between pick up and drop off. Absolutely frustrating and super unfriendly. I always had a positive experience with Uhaul, so I’m not sure what is wrong with this one.
Be aware of deceptive refueling practices. They tell you to bring the truck back on full when it wasnt given to you that way. Self proclaimed manager names Ceasar needs to have more training in providing clear instructions and customer service
I needed a hitch installed on my vehicle and I called several uhaul’s and this location was the only one that was able to help me with short notice. Their staff is great! They went above and beyond by finding the part and opening earlier to get the job done. I’m very impressed with their service!

Those employees are very rude. We rented a pick up truck for three hours. We were told to check the truck ourselves and no body helped us walk through any process. We asked where can we return the truck at, and the owner Amy said, Ill show you later. After we finish the payment process, we received the key and nobody help us after that. After we returned the truck after the bussiness hour, we got charged extra for the gas and the mileage, which doesnt make sense, because we refill the gas and the mileage they check was not even right. They added more because we had no prove to show them. We will never rent from this location NEVER!
Unit was broken into and we were not notified until 10 months later! Are loss was greater than the coverage we had and still we haven’t received a check from the insurance company! Employees are less than helpful and are probably the ones who took our things from storage being its a surveillanced building it’s on the third floor and requires a key card to enter!! Yay us glad we have two storages there so we can lose everything a second time!!
We rented a pick up truck for one day, spoke with Stacy we did a walk around the vehicle everything looked all right from my point of view I’m 6’3 so I wasn’t aware I should have inspected the under carriage.I Ended up buying the extra $10 insurance. We brought the truck back they did an inspection and said there was damage to the bottom of the rear bumper, the guy was on his hands and knees looking under the bumper I told him we hadn’t hit anything, and the vehicle was never parked on a public street or public parking lot. I told the employee we were not responsible for the damage to have his manager call me I received a phone call on a Sunday from Stacy He said we were responsible for the damage. I told him I was disputing it to have his manager call me and the manager Never called. They charged us an extra $150 to our credit card without our permission . I contacted U-Haul’s corporate office by email no response . My opinion they missed the damage and now we’re looking for somebody to pay for it. advice checked everything under the bumper, under the front of everything before you rent from them I’ll definitely never go back to this location again 0*
We usually used to put just the bad things about customers service, here is mine.I had a trouble in the beginning, reschedule 2 appointments and finally the third the run put with the part they need it for my car, anyway it’s easy to get upset and mad but Roger took care of the situation very professionally and his team solved everything in less than I thought, they had a lot of troubles in the beginning but I’m satisfied with the job, that’s the most important, I’ll give 5 start for the effort they made to compensate the lost time and quick and efficient job, thanks guys
I always have Roger wait on me, probably because I go in so early. He is very efficient and get us on are way in no time. Very great service as always.😊

24 hour service was cut, I have been paying for storage for over 2 years. After calling several times and being told that 24 hour service was unavailable, a representative informed me that the 24 hour service is only available for business owners. I would have gladly provided documents, had management communicated properly.
I love this place. Always friendly staff. Nice vehicles and equipment. My frequent here 3 or 4 times a year. cant say enough good things about him. I love UHAUL

The General Manager at this store is very rude.... I made a 7am appointment to have a toe hitch installed on my car. I get here on time and was told my car wouldnt be ready until 3pm because there are 2 cars ahead of me.... Hows that if your store opens up at 7am. He then say welll Im just letting you know or you can come back tomorrow ... Why make an appointment then...
Need to fill a mounted RV propane tank and it had rust on the surface so they would not fill it. 25 Mile drive here. Not a portable tank so not required to look new.
Been going here for at least 3 years renting and storageing my stuff never had a problem i perfer to go to roger dude knows whats up i just have one problem they close the storage to early i never have time to get to my unit i would like them to at least close at 9pm unlike extra space the close at 10 pm i have unit there thinking of closing this one here cause of time they close doors
Unprofessional! Its a damn shame their is a bunch of Airhead thats answering the phone calls when one will tell you one price and then the other will tell you a whole different price do not believe everything they tell you over the phone.I called 6 time one person tell me something and the other 5 time a airhead girl answering there phone assuring me of a cost and when I get their they tell me something else.After I was assure by the airhead girl who answer the phone and come to find out all the manager at this location tell me he not responsible for what the girl say on the phone n come to find out shes at home answering the phone in her p.j he said he dont know who answer their phone!but the calls will tranfer to someone elses because he too busy and mind you I called 5 time and she told me the same cost 5 time and assure me of it!
Ive had my storage unit there since July 2016. Some time around December 5 my storage was broken into. I found out on the 23 or December. Alot of my belongings are gone. I had a computer filled with memories of my kids growing up, my sisters funeral and much more. TVs are gone and thousands worth of new clothes shoes ECT just gone. We lost our home in July and Ive been working hard getting new things for a new house. Gary was the only employee that communicated with me with respect. Rodger and the Hispanic girl idk her name had some sarcastic remarks and where natilant about my situation. Im devistated. My sons PS4 he just got for his birthday stolen. My heart is broken I cant believe the attitudes. It makes me feel like they had something to do with it. In my heart I know they did. Nothing is impossible but this should not have been so easy and handled so carelessly. I would strongly recommend anyone using this storage move you belongings out if its worth anything.
