They are professionals that know guitars and what can be done. They repaired my wifes guitar and it is great. We talked about another guitar and received information different from what we received elsewhere. I checked with an old friend and found out that the Fret House gave us completely correct information and one of the people we talked to, who does repairs, is a well known guitar player/composer!

Love this place. Everyone is friendly, I bought a beautiful guitar from here two years ago that I am still very happy with, and I just started lessons with Tom that I am really enjoying.

This is a fantastic guitar store that’s been in business since 1969. The service and selection of acoustic and electric guitars, amps, and accessories are all excellent. I’ve purchased guitars here, had guitars serviced, and have attended concerts here. The latest concert I attended was with the great Peter Asher. What a memorable night! The sales people are musicians and they’ll help guide you with proper questions and information to make sure you make the right choices. When I wanted to purchase my Martin HD28, Rick helped me make the right choice. That was several years ago and the guitar just keeps sounding better and better.

Great guitars for great prices. Doesnt have a pushy sales vibe like Guitar Centers/Sam Ash stores.

We are so glad we found the Fret House! We were just visiting the area and my husband had been guitar shopping for awhile, but it’s challenging during Covid. Kevin was patient and knowledgeable as we considered a substantial portion of their inventory, and there was never any pressure, just lots of help and information! In the end, they had everything we wanted and we walked out very happy customers. After looking online, their prices were competitive with anything else we found for the same items. Great inventory and far less hassle than the big stores!

Im not a guitarist, but am a neighborhood music fan. I popped my head in, to ask when Open Mic Nights might start up again. Post-Covid, they first need to be relicensed for concerts, and the guess was maybe in the Fall. I look forward to being able to attend these again.

My son, a budding musician, was checking out different guitar shop in SoCal. Dropped by The Fret house and was greeted by the freindly staff as we entered the store. They were engaging and helpful. They guided him to the amp room and let him test out several guitars. Reminds me of a smaller version of Elderly Instruments back home in Lansing Michigan.

Went in to get my Larrivee set up due to a slight buzz. Kevin took the time to adjust the truss rod and that was all it needed. I decided to pick up an extra set of strings while I was there and added a $10 tip. Thanks for taking the time to repair my guitar on the spot, Kevin!!!

Took my Strat, purchased this guitar almost 30 years ago, very special to me, A young guy name chips came out of the store to help me, this guitar needed a lots of work, neck adjustment new strings, fret leveling, chips took care of it he did all that and cleaned the guitar made it like new just like the day Ipercheced the guitar, awesome job chips 👍👏👏 and in very short time got my guitar back, five star.

Found this place about 3 years ago and have practically been coming at least once a week sometimes up to 4 times a week. All the guys are very helpful and give great advice on how to approach and or fix any guitar problems I have ranging from soldering to fret work and even how to reglue a lifted bridge. Dudes were super helpful here and knowledgeable. Zack and Ernie helped me out with picks which was nice. But they toook time to offer me tips with my playing. Really appreciated that because I was feeling kind of lost with my playing. I picked up the 205 picks. They were also humble didnt feel the musicians pride with them thanks much guys.

Fret House has the best guitar techs and best customer service. Dont waste your time or money going to Guitar Center - if you need your guitar repaired or setup, bring it to Fret House. Theyll perform the job according to your request. Theyll call you once the job is complete and answer any questions/concerns you may have.

The Fret House has a wide variety of fantastic guitars and other stringed creatures. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable. Theyll make sure you purchase the guitar thats right for you. I really like this place a lot.

Every guitar Ive ever owned has been purchased here. They have an expert staff thats always very helpful. When you combine the amount of guitars you have to choose from with the expert advice from the staff, you definitely get more than you pay for.

Dropped off guitar on 11/3 - estimated day of completion 11/6. So its been roughly three weeks since I dropped off my acoustic guitar for what they said would be a simple 1 crack repair, that the majority of the repair would be from the inside and that the top would not need any work.Were working on your guitar in between other guitar repairs, but were not going to charge you. WTF man! What kind of business are they running?Went to pick up my guitar last week. Sure enough, they jacked up my guitar in the process of trying to repair it. This sucks!! Why couldnt they have been honest from the beginning. They have offered to replace it with a same model and I accepted the offer.Early December - waiting on guitar. The manager claims it wil take up to 8 weeks for Godin/S&P to ship one from Canada. 8 weeks?January - I have yet to receive a call with an update on the ETA of my replacement.February - Still no call back from the manager. This is complete BS. DO NOT TRUST!

For guitar players in the San Gabriel Valley, this place is a gem and more so with the closure of the Fretted Frog. While Ive yet to go to one of their performance nights, Ive had my electric guitars with trems setup here for years, purchased two Goodalls boutique acoustics, and had one Ovation with a cracked top repaired. Im looking forward to my next visit.
