Well, that was my 3rd attempt to get an oil change. All 3 times they say it will be an hours wait. I choose not to wait the 1st couple of times. The 3rd time I waited and it was not an hour. Its almost as if they wanted to deter you from sticking around.Secondly, while it was clearly posted about wearing masks and all the customers wore masks NONE of the employees wore them. Including the man who stuck his head in my cart to get the mileage!

Jiffy Lube used to be the fastest and least expensive place to get an oil change. I was told when I arrived that it’d be an hour wait time. It took 90 minutes and I had to hunt someone down to process my payment way after my car was finished. They work at a snails pace and are non-communicative with their customers. Every customer was walking around for staff asking if their car was finished. I also paid 40% more than my mechanic charges for the “convenience”. Next time I’ll definitely just take my car to my mechanic.

Employees tried to inform and show me that my break fluid was empty and leaking from an area that had/showed no leakage. When I arrived for my oil change, they tried to tell me my break peddle touched down to the floor board when vehicle was off, and while running in park. When I pulled in for my oil change service, this was NOT the case.On my drive home, all of a sudden my peddle touched the floor, and I had NO breaks when coming to a slow down or stop. SO dangerous!!!I had to take my other vehicle to work for the rest of the week until my husband could fix and address the new issue that magically appeared after my oil change. I take it they assumed, since I am a female, I had no experience with cars. WRONG!Not to mention, I was the only vehicle in the bay for at least 30 mins, while the knuckleheads chatted it up and acted like a bunch of yahoos. Very Unprofessional.I thought I was saving my husband a headache by getting a simple thing done and taken care of, but he ended up having to spend the weekend getting parts and fixing what was tampered with.Wont be returning.

1) They tried to upsell me on breaks. They said I needed a new roter when I got my breaks. I did not, and I got my breaks done elsewhere.2) My oil was dirty and low afterwords.Some less than honest places with either not change your oil or give you slightly used oil to save money.I will not go to this company again.

Was the 1st person to arrive at 9 and had such excellent service. All the gentlemen were kind and professional and explained in detail what services my car needed and did not pressure me into getting those services if I said no. Took really good care of my car while they performed the services and worked as quickly as possible to get me in and out. It took about an hour.

They always do a great job. They’re also very patient when you need clarification on services or charges.

Ive been going to this location for many years and have never been disappointed. This morning I arrived while they were opening up @ 8:00 and was out in under an hour!!! Dennis was friendly and informative about other services that are offered by Jiffy Lube. You sit outside and wait while the work is being done and only go in to discuss beforehand what they will do, etc. Back in to pay and out the back door to get your car. Went here because my normal oil change place close down by the car wash. They wanted $98 for an oil change no car wash I used to get it for 50. I can go to the dealership for $60 and get a car wash from them and the right oil for the my GM. These people are price gouging.

Everything was fine. The guy who did my oil change (unknown name to me) great service but while I was sitting in my car. this guy named Johnny started to rag on me on me because I had a Denver bronco air freshener. He said we’re all raider fans here you know you’re not gonna go to the Super Bowl you know you’re not gonna make it to the playoffs you know you’re not gonna do this you know you’re not gonna do that. Unknowns to me I did not know that he was a raider fan nor did I care but to have that kind of stuff thrown into my face was very disrespectful. The fluid in my car was not filled the windows were not wiped down but that could be because I was sitting in the car nor was my car cleaned out with the vacuum cleaner. Now I am going back to my Jiffy Lube in Colorado where there are Denver bronco fans but there’s also raider fans there but they treat all the customers with respect.

My family has been using the Jiffy Lube in Covina for several years now for both our personal vehicles and our companys fleet. Weve always experienced a high level of professionalism from their team, with a special mention to Cesar and Johnny. Our fleet usually runs 24/7, which makes it critical to have each vehicle appropriately inspected and serviced. We trust an honest opinion and recommendation when they suggest further maintenance be applied. I would highly recommend them for anyones personal vehicle or company fleet.

I have to give 5 stars even though I am stumped by what happened. I pulled in and the parking lot was packed. As I parked in the 1 available spot, I was greeted as I opened my door. I was told to pull in. A quick inspection was done and I was told 1 license plate light was out. Since I disconnected it to use the power elsewhere, I thanked them for the info. I have a 99 Corolla with 61k mi. I am a prime Target for Jiffy Lube or any shop, to upsell services. Within 8 minutes, I was told my air filter should be changed soon but I fine at this moment and everything else looked great. The reason for the cars was a district meeting with area managers. I give five stars because it was unbelievable but now Im anxious due to what I assume was a less than thorough inspection.

I have been coming here for about 16 years, but no more. I purchased a new truck last year, and up until now, I have had the dealership service my vehicle.Today I pulled up and attendant greeted me with a friendly smile and asked what services I needed today. I told him just the oil change, that the dealership changed the air filter and rotated the tires on a previous visit. I also told him that it needed to be synthetic blend. The attendant told me the service costs $74.99 and I said that was fine. I was escorted into the waiting area and that they would be right with me.Richard came in to check me in about 10 minutes later. He said the total would be $111.96. I asked for a $75 service?? Richard responded by saying the Synthetic Service is $104.99, and I told him what I was told, he responded by saying sorry, but they do not do Synthetic Blend service, and that they already drained my oil. No discount, no trying to make it right, nothing to make up the difference.I have had some small discrepancies in the past, and chose to ignore them. But not this time, I will take my business elsewhere.

Quick service, just a little expensive. $40 even though I brought my own filter and oil. Ive been able to find cheaper, but you cant beat Jiffy Lube for convenience, they are everywhere, and I do appreciate that.

This location is where I have my jeep serviced to include rotor jobs for my brakes. The mechanics are good but when I brought my Jeep today, the supervisor gave me an attitude. So I just pulled out my Jeep and have it serviced somewhere else.

Today I took my car for a second inspection of a failed Rideshare inspection I got at Jiffy Lube in Pomona (#1200) on Garey. I took it to the Jiffy Lube on Arrow Hwy and Sunflower at the request of Cesar, the district manager because he had read the review I posted on Google stating most of the issues below. He seemed like he wanted to make it right so I thought Id give another SoCal Jiffy Lube a chance.The first store failed me for a faulty ball joint and then proceeded to quote me $275.00 to repair it. The first mechanic also told me that I should be inspecting my own vehicle before bringing it in because they charge the $20 fee regardless if its lights or seatbelts or something mechanical that fails. (NOTE: The rideshare company paid for the inspection.)At that time I had also asked for my oil to be checked and topped off and was told that if it had been more than 3K miles since the last service there would be a $6.00 charge to top it off. I get my oil changed every 5k miles and was well between visits...about 1500 miles before the next required oil change. I recently moved from ABQ and had been a loyal customer of Jiffy Lube for years. They always topped off my oil even if I was passed the 5K. Their policy was FREE TOPOFFS anytime. Apparently, SoCal Jiffy Lubes dont honor that policy.Last Friday I took my car to a reputable mechanic (Tucker Tires in Covina) to check the ball joints and they said nothing was wrong. They even gave me a receipt stating their diagnosis saying the same. I stopped in to talk to Cesar at the Covina Jiffy Lube, regarding the conflicting diagnosis and I found his manner to be somewhat patronizing and condescending. He invited me to bring my car in this morning (Monday, Feb 18th) and I brought my brother who is very knowledgeable about cars to verify their findings. Again, they failed my car for faulty ball joints. They let my brother witness their findings and he said he saw no problem.Sorry, this is so long but I will not be doing business with Jiffy Lube in SoCal going forward. I will find another company. Its really sad because I loved them in Albuquerque. Such a different business model.My advice is DONT get your car repaired at Jiffy Lube without a second opinion from a reputable mechanic. They overcharge and I just dont trust them for anything other than oil changes.BUYER BEWARE!

My net on my passengers side went missing after my car was serviced. Dont know whether to go back and deal with it or not even bother.

Purchased an oil change on Groupon to save a few bucks. Upon arriving an employee quickly came up and started helping me get service. He was very nice but instantly started mentioning that Groupon does not work for 24hrs after purchase. I had a deadline to get my oil changed as I was leaving town the next day and could not wait. I asked if there was somewhere I could call to clear this up. Employee said let me check anyway and instructed me to go ahead and wait inside. He came back a few minutes later and said the voucher worked no problem and I was good. Excellent but I think the best approach would be to check the voucher first before mentioning it will not work and causing confusion. I went back to waiting for a few minutes and then was called up to the computer. It was explained that my car takes 5.7 quarts and it would cost a little extra. I agreed but remembered that the Ford manual calls for 5.0 quarts. I mentioned this to the employee and he said ok we will fill it to 5.0 quarts and show you that is will be low. Waiting a few more mintues they come grab me so we can walk over the the car and show me the dipstick. The oil reading is directly in the center of the operating range which is a perfect. I am not sure if Jiffy Lube specs are wrong for my vehicle or it is an attempt to make a little extra money but 5.0 quarts including filter is the spec directly from Ford. Overall it was a good experience but a few different choices could have turned good into a great experience.Jiffy Lube should check their loaded specs to verify they are correct and accurate.Overall service was easy and fast.

Paid for full synthetic and found out that they gave me the normal stuff when I found the 5 caps to the oil bottles under my hood when cleaning my air filter. To top it off, the did not put my splashguard properly back into place, which caused it to loosen into the tire and melt it away and my having to replace it. This location is apparently running the scam that NBC warned about where customers pay for certain services and they are either not done or they use the lowest grade parts. I paid for full-synthetic and should have gotten it!
