A great small business. Family operated. They are very knowledgeable and can offer advice regarding pets. We get our dog, chicken and bunny feed all from this location. We purchased a dwarf bunny for our daughter for Christmas and we instantly fell in love. Good prices and a great selection on different animals available. Definitely a return customer and i would highly recommend it.

Waited there 2 hours for them to open. People waiting there also told me the owner shows up when he wants to. Bought my son a young ball python. He loves his new pet. Turns out the python has mites. My poor son has been spending all his money on things he needs to get rid of the mites. Its a pain in the neck. Its been 3 weeks already and almost rid of them. Pet store was dirty. Never going back again. The owner was rude also.

Got a bunny and they charged me $70 for a small bunny. I over heard the lady say $50 and the guy said no charge them $70 I’m upset that he knew we really wanted the bunny and took advantage of the price. I did buy the bunny because my son really wanted one but I will not go back there to get a second one. This is not ok to take advantage of people.

Ive been coming to Pet Palace since I was a little girl. Ray and his family have always been so friendly and helpful. I recently bought my two Chameleons from him and he helped me find a healthy food for my dogs. Rays knowledge of animals is phenomenal and visiting his shop is always an enjoyable experience that I look forward too. I highly recommend going to Pet Palace in Covina for all your pets needs.

Aug. 14 2021 I hope everything is ok. I stopped by the sign posted said they are closed until further notice.June 2020 The owner was very kind and knowledgeable about my baby cockatiels. My tiels love their seeds and millet. This is my pet store for all my bird needs.

If I could give this place 0 stars oh believe me I would, the owners are very rude first of all and have nasty energy right when you walk in, if you even can walk in for that matter. People wait for hours outside just for them to open if they even do which is ridiculous.

Love this place and the couple that owns it are so sweet and knowledgeable and always willing to help, not sure why they would ever have bad reviews. I get my feeder rats here, my mom and I have picked up 2 mini lop bunnies, one ended up passing (I think from eating cat litter?) and they gave us another dwarf! They put us both onto the rabbit (liquid absorbing) pellets for our cats and there’s no smell at all. Great pet shop with pretty much everything!

Place is small and cute. They pretty much have majority of what you need . The owners are really nice and friendly and if you have any questions or concerns, the owner is really knowledgeable and he will tell you like it is. I come here very often to get my bearded dragon crickets and worms. They have birds and reptiles for sale as well as the food to feed them, wether its dried, frozen, refrigerated or live.

I been coming to Pet Palace since I was 15 years old to read some of these comments is disturbing. Marie and Ray are the most kindest people I know. Every time I’ve gone the cages are clean pets well fed and Ray always giving me advice. I buy many animals that were neglected or abused and the veterinarian said most of them wouldn’t survive I take down to Ray and he tell me how to care for them and guess what! They all lived...Throughout the years I’ve purchased many items from Ray or his father and never had problems with any of my purchases. In my collection I have purchased 4 juvenile snakes last summer they are all well eating good and healthy.

Do you guys sell cockatiels and if y’all do how much would one cost

Just started coming here and love it. Everyone is so friendly and the lady is so funny!!

The store is pretty old school. The animals are kept in pretty cramped conditions, however truth be told most of the animals are trade ins and are outta the door within the same time they arrive. The staff are pretty friendly and have definitely got the respect of the general area. I do recommend it for a quick stop in to see if they have something rare or exotic. However I wish theyd just increase there reptile space it make the store all the worth while as its fairly clean.

Its a nice little store they have some nice reptiles and there they had the mice I needed to feed my ball python its just really small so call if youre looking for something and they will tell you exactly if they have it or not but I would recommend this store for somebody that is wanting to buy some sort of reptile or supplies because they have a lot of stuff its just a very small store

I purchased a baby soft shell turtle from the owner. He said that the turtle lives well in warm water & with tetra fish, so I spent the $36 for the baby & brought it home. I added alittle water from the tank into his container & let him sit for a 1/2hr. He looked good so I put him in the tank. He swam around for about 15 minutes the all of a sudden he was just floating around. So I took him out & put him back in his container. He didn’t look alive anymore so I took him back to the shop & the owner told me that he was attacked by something & his eyes looked shut. So he said that my tetras bit his eyes & put him in shock. He said that it was not his fault & that he would not refund or switch out. In my opinion this guy is a thief & doesn’t belong selling helpless animals because he doesn’t know anything about them. Please be aware.

I called prior to ask if they dubias and crickets and the man said yes, so I drove 20 minutes to get there. When I got there the lady was helping someone and didnt speak to me or ask me to wait for about 15 minutes and when she was finally ready for me she told me they Dont have any roaches and only have black crickets. Then she asked me to wait 30 minutes for the guy to come back from the bank? I dont know why she wanted me to wait if she said they didnt have what I wanted. It was a huge waste if time.

Great little pet store. Mom and pop owned. Been there forever. Great prices. They make their own feed. You can tell they take pride in ownership. Very helpful. If youre ever in the Irwindale area I recommend shopping there for your pet needs and support the small guys.

I can buy 3 mice here for the price of 1at those big-name stores. The best part is, I always take my little dog with me when I go, and they give him free treats

The guy is very knowledgeable about all the animals even showed me how I could tell if my leopard gecko was a male of female! I got a really good reptile tank for my gecko here too!

Absolutely amazing pet store great prices on all of their products and such great people who work there, they have everything from scorpions to giant monitor lizards bigger than most dogs and when I called they were gladly willing to stay open well over closing time just so I could take a look at all of their animals, very nice people.

If you’re knowledgeable about reptiles you’d give them no stars. What a disappointment to see no heat source for them and beardies cramped into a small tank, a 5 inch red ear slider in a 10 gallon(no basking spot and no heat source),and a good 3.5 to 4 feet Savannah cramped in a Maybe 40 gallon tank. Makes me sad to see this...

Been going here for 15 years.

My 16 year old Calico Cat was diagnosed with stage I kidney disease and borderline diabetes. The vet told me that she would pass in 2 weeks. I asked Ray at Pet Palace for advice and we put her on Taste of the Wild Grain free cat food. Immediately she stopped urinating blood after approximately 6 months she had lost 10 pounds. Celebrating her 17th Birthday this June. Her fur is soft and sleek. She struts about the house like a Queen, and purrs with gratefulness. Pet Palace not only saved her life, but significantly improved the quality of her life.

Small shop but they ARE moving...so they are in packages at this time...the people are nice and help with ANY questions you may have.

A great store with a huge variety of pets.They have a lot of parrots lizerds and much more. The people are great and very helpful and the, prices are great from parakeets to monotor lizerds that are seven feet long you will find it all. Great prices on meal worms and crickets they make their own parrot food and my parrot loves it.

Went this afternoon to buy my chickens food and I found bugs and larva and Maggots In the food don’t buy from this place not only was there bugs in the food but they miss treat the animals there confined to small cages and there left with no food or water and bad lighting.❌CAUTION DO NOT BUY FROM THEM❌

They always provide the best advice on reptiles. I always get my frozen mice from this place and trust me it is a lot cheaper than petco and petsmart. I recommend this place for everybody interesteded in reptiles.

This place doesn’t take care of there repltiles right this guy sold me a bearded dragon that doesn’t wanna eat and he sold a pregnant bearded dragon to my friend Without knowing and died because it couldn’t lay the rest of the eggs and didn’t give a refund horriable place a real expert wouldn’t have sold a dragon that’s pregnant

Don’t ever come to this place at noon or even 15min after because they won’t open their damn doors. I called them three times and I can clearly hear the phone ringing, but nothing. I was low on time today and they made me waste my time. Don’t advertise to the public anything if you won’t stick to what say to the public !! Bc I had to leave with no bird food for my little buddy ..
