Flexus Comfort is a small latex manufacturing facility located in the California City of Covina, 22 miles east of Los Angeles. I recently purchased a 10-inch mattress that had three layers of 3-inch latex. The configuration I bought consisted of three inches of firm Dunlop latex on the bottom, 3 inches of medium density Dunlop latex in the middle, and 3 inches of medium Talalay latex layer on top. The three-layer configuration I chose provided me an optimum structural environment for a good nights sleep.Latex is a durable natural rubber material. The production of natural Latex comes from the same overseas producers for virtually all United States manufacturers. If you primarily sleep on your back, you should find a 100% natural latex mattress to provide optimum support for a good nights sleep. Latex is a dense and naturally responsive material. You do not get a sinking feeling sleeping on a latex mattress. Your body feels supported, somewhat akin to the feel of a spring mattress. The Latex mattress configuration I purchased should provide many years of durable comfort. The foam mattress that I slept on previously, and purchased from a major national manufacturer, provided adequate support for four years. The foam content then began to break down, and the mattress no longer felt comfortable to me.If you sleep on your back, then you should be pleased with purchasing an all Latex bed. If you are a combination sleeper or sleep primarily on your side, then my configuration may not be optimum for you. In this case, you might look to purchase a softer latex configuration or a different combination of materials to your liking.I am happy with my purchase of a Latex mattress from Flexus Comfort. If you do some shopping for natural latex mattresses, you may find a significant price discount from other more heavily advertised manufacturers. Being a smaller manufacturer, you may also have to wait 2 or 3 weeks to obtain your customized mattress. The final product, in the end, will hopefully be a good nights sleep.

Posting my 1-month update after purchasing my mattress (10 Queen, all natural latex, one side is soft|firm|firm and the other is soft|medium|firm)!tl;dr: I recommend this mattress. Price is moderately expensive at $1500 but the value is great for latex, bed has been fantastic for a back sleeper that has suffered lower back pain for 6 years now, customer service needs improvement due to lack of responsiveness.I am a 60, 175 lb, male, back sleeper with shorts stints of side sleeping. I was using a 10 Tuft & Needle Original memory foam mattress for 6+ years. I suffered a sports injury in 2015 and now have a bulging disc in my lower back. I do everything in my power to find lower back pain relief. The ugly: When moving from Texas to California, I was in the market for a mattress. I visited a local Dallas natural mattress store selling brand name latex mattresses. I also visited Mattress Firm and Sleep Number because its only fair to give them all a shot. Here are the medium/medium-firm mattresses I tried out in the mattress stores in Texas : Tempurpedic ProAdapt, Tempurpedic LuxeAdapt, Simmons BeautyRest Black Hybrid, Posh+Lavish Relax, Purple 2 Hybrid, Sealy Perfect Sleeper. I fell in love with the all latex Posh+Lavish, but it was priced at $3200 MSRP!! And the other beds ranged around $2200 - $3000 MSRP (after negotiations with salesmen, before in-store cash to spend on accessories)!!A deal: I found Flexus Comfort from exploring forums (ex. The Mattress Underground). I had to decide between SleepEZ and Flexus Comfort, but ultimately went with Flexus since I was moving to Los Angeles and they were local. The price was $1500 MSRP for a 10 all latex mattress that was customizable with 3 latex layers (that are interchangeable and exchangeable with the store for a small fee) and 2 shredded latex pillows. Pretty good deal, lots of flexibility, and no dealing with mattress salesmen. The bad: I confirmed with the owner that my bed would arrive July 2nd or July 3rd before placing my order. I placed my order online on June 14th and he confirmed the date by writing it on my order. Then... it was radio silence until I felt compelled to call him a few days before I jumped on the plane and was informed that it would be delayed to until July 10th/11th! That sucks because now I need to go to Costco and buy a temporary bed and sleep uncomfortably for 1.5 weeks. I call again a few days before the new delivery date and this time Im informed that itll be delivered July 14th between 3-5 PM. Finally, but I wish I wasnt forced to call Flexus to find out if there are delays on my orders. There were no updates over email or phone calls from Flexus. The great: The owner had two of his guys come by and drop off the mattress. They were very professional -- brought it in, opened it up, and made sure the layers were settled and not overlapping. They made sure to wash their hands before touching the bed and they wore masks. At first, I was having a hard time staying asleep. I was either sleeping hot or felt off. I kept waking up. Well, its all been smooth sailing since two weeks in and my sleep has been fantastic. I dont sleep hot anymore (I did upgrade sheets to bamboo sheets), I dont wake up with any sores, I feel supported and the mattress is bouncy. I still sleep with a pillow under my knees for the lower back relief, but the latex mattress supports me well. It definitely took a little while for my body to get used to, but Im glad I committed to it.NOTE: Flexus Comforts problem isnt supply chain. They cant control if their suppliers dont deliver latex; global supply chain has been horrible and they are victims of this. Flexus Comforts problem is a lack of an automated feedback loop when there are delays + automated updates to the website on estimated delivery time. I should not be calling the company and having the owner answer phone calls about when the next estimated delivery date is going to be. Its frustrating.

This is a long overdue, much deserved rating for Flexus mattress. I was in the market for a full size mattress for my son’s platform bed. As a teen, my son didn’t express much by way of what he wanted in firmness, but I knew that if it wasn’t “right” he’d complain about it. Not to worry, I told Henry that I needed a semi firm mattress non-pillow top and he delivered! He told me he would get me something his kids liked and sure enough, my own son loves his mattress. Now that he’s had it for a few years it’s even better. More recently I needed a full size mattress for my mother who was unexpectedly coming to live with me. At 85 years old and with arthritis, I needed a frame, box spring and mattress which could accommodate her petite size and was comfortable, and I needed it delivered fast. Once again, Henry delivered in record time the perfect mattress. His crew had all the Covid safe guards and were in and out with installation quickly. Five stars for quality, price and customer service!! Thank you Henry and Flexus!

I am 6’2 195lbs and athletic build and I have been searching for a supportive mattress for at least a year or more. It has been hard to find a supportive mattresses. After having tried 5+ bed in a box memory foams, I was ready to try latex. All of the beds were of good quality, but unsupportive for me and my lower back and time after time needed to return. Especially with temperature fluctuations (hot vs cold), the feel and support changes with memory foam which is undesirable. Also, sometimes I am a hot sleeper and memory foam is terrible for that.So lets start off with the experience:I had an amazing time here at the Flexus Comfort showroom. I drove from Santa Barbara to Covina and it was worth the effort. James was amazing and took time to help me understand the differences between the full latex and latex hybrid mattresses.Usually mattress showrooms are pushy to get a sale, however James gave me as much time as I needed to really lay on and evaluate the mattress configurations. The showroom isn’t giant, but it provides you exactly what you need to make a decision. I ended up ordering a Quadra-Flex hybrid because of the high quality Leggett and Platt springs. I requested Med (For Me)/Soft (For Girlfriend) since I liked both in the store but wasn’t quite sure what I would decide on, which is nice since they offer a layer exchange if it isn’t right. I received my mattress quickly and the delivery crew was professional.Thoughts on the QuadraFlex:* Bouncy but not too bouncy.* Cannot feel my partner when she moves. (was really worried about this coming from memory foam)* Sleeps cool and comfortable* The latex even though you dont sink in provides a soft and cloud like feeling without all of the heatI highly recommend the mattress.

I did weeks of research and decided I wanted a latex hybrid bed. I eventually chose to buy from Flexus and Im really glad I did. They were very helpful in helping choose options and then they shipped the bed to the East Coast in less than a week. The QUADRA-Flex bed is awesome (for me). The materials are very high quality and I believe I will enjoy it for years to come.Their return policy is good, but not as liberal as many others. I believe this allows them to offer the best pricing available.

Purchased a latex bed here earlier this year. I did some research about mattresses ahead of time. The guys here at Flexus Comfort know their stuff. They dont bother with the fluff/advertising/marketing buzz words to try to make a sale. Not only are they knowledgeable about their product and industry, but they will work to make sure youre satisfied. Im happy with my new bed and their customer service. 5/5 stars. Would buy again. Thank you to both Henry and James!

I found Flexus on MU after hours of extensive research. We went with another big name online company first and hated our experience and our mattress. The decision to go latex with Flexus has been one of the best of our lives! It took work to set-up the mattress and my wife was laughing at me at first... but not anymore. When you lay on the mattress you dont sink in like an ordinary mattress, you kind of float on top of it. My wife says she doesnt consider it cozy but it is the most comfortable mattress weve ever slept on. We no longer toss and turn at night, we wake up refreshed and we look forward to going back to bed! A couple of things I recommend:1. Just buy it.2. If you get the two free latex pillow deal, take about 1/3 of the shredded latex out of each and make a 3rd pillow. (we found the two pillows to be too firm).3. Call the store and theyll set you up over the phone with the right comfort level.Dont spend any more time researching after this. You will not regret your decision, we certainly dont!

Purchased the queen sized Flexus Dual Comfort latex mattress back in August 2019. It was the best priced 100% latex mattress we found that was recommended by TMU. If you want an entry into the premium latex mattress but are concerned with price, then I highly recommend this company and this product.I have never slept better and you really cant put a dollar figure on that. Much much better than all these new bed in a box options, I wouldnt even waste time with those.

There is nothing like buying from a local business and its factory direct. You are not paying for all the distribution, overhead and sales commission, and name brands probably use sub-par materials. I bought three twin size for my kids a few year ago. They are great, comfortable and still looks new. Great people to deal with and I love the local small factory.Update: 2 years later, we bought a Cal King Mattress from Flexus. Family owned, brothers Henry and James are the best. They are knowledgeable about whats on the market and helps you pick out what best fit your need. We went for the Latex Mattress they have, able to customize the softness for both my wife and I. Its like getting the function of a Sleepnumber without paying the high price!!! It was easy to set up. Made with high quality materials, we should be good for the years to come! Thanks again, Henry and James!!

Can’t recommend Flexus Comfort enough! My husband and I finally were able to upgrade from a queen to a Cal King and couldn’t be happier with our latex mattress! I love that’s it’s customizable since my husband and I both prefer different firmness. He’s a big & tall guy, so the Cal King length was perfect for us! The cover unzips so you can move and flip the latex pieces to customize to your liking! How cool is that?!James was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when visiting the showroom! Love his positive attitude and sense of humor! Henry really helped in making our mattress affordable, especially since we have expensive taste and went for their high-end ALL latex mattress! Don’t waste your time & MONEY buying memory foam it WON’T last!Thank you for the great mattress and deal, Henry and James! These Ortiz brothers know the mattress industry so well! GO CHECK OUT THEIR SHOWROOM IN COVINA!My husband’s exact words “I NEVER LOVED A MATTRESS SO MUCH! Totally worth every penny!”

Great customer service and fantastic price! I did a lot of research on mattresses in general and mattress companies nationwide before deciding to purchase from Flexus Comfort. Weve had our king sized mattress for over 4 years now and my husband and I really love it. I since then have sent all my friends there to get their mattresses and they do.

Mattress Undergrounds mattress forum led me to Flexus Comforts mattresses. After some research and looking at other local and national retailers, we chose Flexus Comforts mattresses because they have fantastic mattresses that my body agreed with. When purchasing your mattress, its super important to take your time and to feel out each mattress and be conscious of how youre reacting to it. My family and I never felt rushed in the showroom as we tested out coil cores vs latex cores, hard vs soft comfort layers. Lesser quality mattresses at other retailers were easily double or triple Flexus Comforts beds and they didnt even feel that comfortable. My only complaint is that theyre usually not open on Sundays, which can be difficult when you work Monday - Friday. Overall though, Henry & James are great and easy to work with when coordinating delivery, etc.Id recommend doing some research and giving these guys a visit. If youre like us, after a long process of looking into many options, youll be very happy with your outcome.Ah yes, implied in all of the above: I havent slept this great in years :)

Very tiny showroom here at Flexus Comfort. This also means that you get a very hands-on introduction on the mattresses sold at Flexus. The salesperson was very kind and helped me decide on a bed purchase. I was very confident in my decision because I did a lot of research online before choosing to visit this place. Research all the options available to you when purchasing a bed and I am positive you will enjoy the bed you decide to buy.
