Found these guys online while looking for a good honest shop. Linda in the office was very friendly. They did my brake lines. Called and told me about what needed to be done. Had it in and out in one day. You cant beat the price. Will absolutely use them again. I highly recommend.

Two guys came to the rescue last week. I had dropped my car that was leaking oil out rapidly off to them the night before without any notice, in hopes they could fix the issue. By the next morning they were able to diagnose and fix, they called me with an update by 10 am. They were so responsive, affordable, and reliable. Super great all around, highly recommend. Ive been going to these folks for years and am constantly impressed with them in every regard. They have all the virtues you want in an auto mechanic shop - courtesy, honesty, efficiency, affordability, and great personalities. If you want a refreshingly uncomplicated experience with getting your car serviced, I would highly recommend giving these two guys a try. I do not know of another shop like this one anywhere nearby.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with cars I’ve taken to Two Guys over the past several years. Melissa is always friendly as well as everyone else. They are always fair priced and whatever issues I have are always repaired. They always contact before making repairs and I found they look for ways to save you money. I was told about 2 Guys from my mom. Her car broke down when she was on her way to get a radiation treatment. The owner at the time, stopped everything the mechanics were doing, to get my moms car fixed so she could get to her appointment. It was great to find a mechanic like that, that actually cared for their customers! Now the new owner Danny, who used to work for the old owners, is exactly the same way! I have had repairs done many times by Danny and 2 Guys and always have had wonderful service and in most cases, he has lowered the cost that was first told to me, depending on what needed to be done, and how long it took them to do it. I highly recommend this garage and I will continue to tell my family and friends about them. Honest service!!

Im a senior on a VERY fixed income, so vehicle repairs scare the heebie-jeebies out of me. I heard Danny was good, so I rolled the dice & went to him. Ive had absolutely terrible experiences with mechanics in my life, over-charging, fixing things that really didnt need fixing & charging exorbitant prices for the work. It has always been very discouraging to have to go to a mechanic for any work on my vehicles. My first experience with Danny changed all that!! Not only does he do great work & promptly, his pricing (from my experience) is the fairest in RI. He doesnt gouge people, doesnt take advantage. If he tells you something needs fixing, you can rely on that it really does, isnt just a game to separate you from your cash. I dont say any of this lightly; I wouldnt put a recommendation online that people like me might be influenced by if it wasnt 100% legit & true. You can take your vehicle to Two Guys and rest easy; the work will be professionally done, promptly & fairly. Good, honest mechanic! Got my car in when I needed and fixed only what was needed. What a different shop said needed to be done was actually fine and didnt need to be replaced.

So happy with finally finding a mechanic I can trust that would not break the bank. My car air conditioning just died in the middle of the hot summer. Being a older woman alone it was a scary experience finding a mechanic I could trust and afford. I went to two mechanics for an estimate ….first one was insanely high in price and the second one was just lower in price but still high. I can home so disappointed in not being able to afford getting my air conditioner fixed. I was chatting with a neighbor telling her my frustration. She immediately told me to go to. “Two Guys Auto, Tioque Avenue, Coventry. I called and they immediately took my car in…I was shocked not being a regular customer. Melissa the office manager couldn’t help me enough. I met the mechanic Danny and I immediately felt like I was in good hands. He went over everything that went wrong with the air conditioning showing me all the damaged parts. He then went over the cost for the parts and labor, once again I was shocked. Danny was half the price of the other repair shops I went to. My air conditioner runs beautifully thanks to Danny. I highly recommend two guys as going forward he will do all my car repairs. Two Guys has great service and their receptionist MAK is entertaining while you wait for repairs. They will do a $25 basic oil change or a $46 synthetic oil change when you arrive before 9am!

Came recommended by ppl on the coventry town page i know stuff happens but got my front rotors calipers and pads done the next day i pulled into my fathers house and the passenger side caliper was smoking and sticking couldnt drive it back to 2 guys and it was a saturday they are closed on the weekend guess cars dont break down on the weekends so my friend vinny took the tire off and on the caliper theres a pin thats supposed to be greased up they didnt grease it was pricey to have it not done right and a brand new caliper to smoke and lock up and i had my 5 year old in the car when the caliper failed

My father inlaw brings his vehicle here and says they are great. Great mechanics, good service and good prices. He had his exhaust fixed and it was done in a couple hours at a very reasonable price. There parking lot is very crowded.

I’m new in town and have never tried any local auto repair shop. My car had some major engine problems while I was driving so I pulled over and got a tow, choosing ‘Two Guys’ over a AAA recommended place. Every story has 2 sides to the coin but, in this case, both sides read the same way - EXCELLENT service at the front desk AND in the garage, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient work, very timely and I even got a walk-thru of what happened and why. This was a last minute, sight unseen job for these people and I needed my car ASAP because I’m self-employed and rely heavily on it to get to my jobs. It’s up to a customer to be reasonable and fair, too. Some of the things that were stated in 2 of these old, poor reviews on this site, were proven to be totally unfounded, in my experience. There was no sign of ANYTHING negative or underhanded and I know human behavior and bad mechanics. I need a fast, fair, reliable, competent and reasonably priced, local car repair shop and this one is AWESOME! “Two Guys’, you just got another happy new customer. Outstanding service.

Two Guys really helped us out. On a trip from MA to PA, we had an O2 sensor fall out of the exhaust pipe. The noise was significant, and we wanted to make sure the car was safe to drive. Pulled off the highway and found Two Guys. The gentleman there took a quick look and identified the problem. Then he jacked the car up and temporarily wired the sensor back in place. Ten minutes. With that we were able to continue on our way. And, he didnt even want to accept any payment for this service! Having a car issue in an unfamiliar place is typically a big (and expensive) challenge. To find a service company with smart and honest people in a far away place was a wonderful thing. If we ever have a problem again, I hope we are near Coventry. Three cheers for two guys!

If I could give this repair facility zero stars I would. Took my 2004 Honda CRV in for a check engine light condition. Left it for the day. Paid them when I picked the car up, they said it was all fixed. On the way home the check engine light comes on again. Brought it back, told them what happened. Left the car for the next day. Picked it up that night, drove home. Same thing, next day check engine light is on. Brought it back. They said they needed to keep it for a few days as it was an intermittent problem. I disagree but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Left the car for two days. Picked up the car during a snowstorm and paid them. They said they had found the problem. Next day,,,same thing. I just dont think that they could figure out what was wrong with my car or maybe they just didnt want to work on it. All they kept doing was resetting the computer to make the check engine light go out. I could have done that. Took the car to a Honda dealer and they told me it needed a new timing chain and chain guides. Had these parts installed at another repair shop and no more check engine light. Car is currently running fine. Will never use them again. Paid them twice for absolutely no gain on my part.

These guys do a very good job. Their prices are very fair and honest. They dont try and get you to fix things that you dont need. Almost every time I use them it is fixed within the time frame they state, which is one day. Because of their excellent service, they are very busy so you need to make an appt but, in the event of an emergency, they will do what it takes to get it fixed. Top notch!!! Been their customer for about 10 years.

Bought a truck off a local guy. Check engine light came on local guy said bring it to my mechanic at Two guys he said he will pay for repairs. Got the truck back it was worse! Took truck back local guy said he would pay for repairs again. Two guys have had the truck over 3 weeks! When i call to find out whats going on with the truck the woman says i have no idea whats going on with that truck. Then she says her husband isnt there a the moment. She took my number said she would call back when her husband got back. Never heard from her. 3 weeks and nothing! I just want my truck fixed!

As of 1/2019 Two Guys has a new owner named Danny. I called him to replace a CV axle on my Toyota Camry. My appt was for 1pm and had the car back to me by 2:30. The part was bad, he immediately ordered a new part and fixed it on the spot. His price was 40% less than other in town repair shops. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend Danny and his team.PS. They do oil changes from 8-9 am everyday for 20 cash (non-synthetic)Also, Danny has another Auto Repair shop in Cranston, RI on Reservoir Ave near the Valvoline Quick Oil change

Water pump replacement...Came back worse,Charged twice what parts are at auto part stores. Confronted!Used parts put on,Returned to correct---replaced parts left sections dismantled hanging,Hood latch broken,Radiator fluids not replaced.Had to find someone to repair what was dismantled, broken, and used or empty.Customer beware!

Danny is shady we paid 2000/a year ago for a new motor then in the summer the car died it was still under warranty after he aurged with me that it overheated because it didnt my mom was going to Boston everyday for cancer treatment and thats why it did not last the year then he wanted another 800 to put in new engine and said car needed a brain I had it towed home charged battery and it started right up called him and he said he was working on it call him Friday or call him Monday then he will not get on the phone
