This is an honest repair shop which is hard to find. They will correctly diagnose the issue and will only treat the issues that need to be repaired. Ive been bringing my cars here for 10+ years and have never had a bad experience or doubted the honesty of their diagnosis. When taking my car here there have been times when I have expected to pay thousands and have left paying a a couple hundred dollars. Trust me, take your care here!

Brought my car in cause my phalange came loose in puddle. Told me i needed a new cadalidic converter but never showed me my old part but waited 5hrs for the fix. Fixed 2 tires and an oil change that took 3 hrs where one blew going 70 on highway 2 days later. The other tire is now slowly going flat cause they did a patch job for 50$. All in all, spent 800 there and didnt get quality service. Definitely takes advantage of females here. Never going here again >:(

I have been a customer for 15 years. Jose and crew have taken care of 10+ different vehicles of mine. They try their best, are reasonably priced, and if they dont know something they will tell you that and then they will work to figure out the issue. As far as a small repair shop goes, these folks are trustworthy and a good place to bring a vehicle for repair.

Did a pre inspection for me to let me know what needs to be fixed to pass the inspection. Had them do the work and then had the inspection done. Fantastic. Friendly staff with spacious waiting room for my son to play while we waited.

Upon receiving the vehicle back, the PRIDE magnets on my vehicle were taped over and vandalized. When the manager was questioned about it he said uh idk nothing i can do.If youre the manager, theres clearly something you can do to prevent your workers VANDALIZING property, especially because its extremely anti LGBTQ. I do not advise anyone go there if for no other reason than a negative opinion from one of their workers meant my own stuff was damaged. This should not be a fear for things like bumper stickers and magnets.

CPM is a place I can trust. Jose the owner is a good man to deal with. My two cars have been there quite a lot. Believe me, if I didnt trust then I wouldnt go back. There shuttle service makes it so much easier. Good people, good work and you know you can count on them doing it right.

Amazing mechanics. Very honest. Word of advice, always drop your car off, never wait for it there. I had a 2:30 appointment for an oil change, dropped my car off at 2:17. Didnt get to leave until 4:35. The lady next to me was sitting there for over an hour for a headlight. But they do very good work. Just drop it off so you arent stuck there waiting.

I bring my car and my girlfriends car here for pretty much everything. They have extremely reasonable, if not cheap, pricing. They are also very polite. I have had no issues whatsoever with my car work, but had to bring my girlfriends car back twice after a brake job, but Im still happy overall. I would personally recommend them.

I have been taking my car here for about 6 years now. They have always been very honest and professional in all of my repairs. Today I took my car in because it was low on oil and I didnt know what was happening since I saw no signs of oil leaks. There was a mechanic there named Mark who took the time to inspect my car thoroughly. He was very friendly and quickly located the problem and helped with explaining and repairing everything I needed. They need more mechanics like Mark. Thank you. I like working on my cars myself for the most part, but when i cant get something done CPM is the only place I can truly trust. Ive cycled through many repair shops since moving through RI and have finally found my go to spot for repairs and upkeep. Awesome staff and knowledgeable mechanics, you cant go wrong here. Have been trusting them for the last 2 years or so and dont plan on going any place else. Very honest people, they will tell you if something can wait, if something is going to cost a lot, or if its better to go somewhere else such as a dealership (they have no problem letting you know this, and i truly appreciate that).

My wife and I have been taking our cars to CPM for the past few years and have had a great experience. Weve always received honest and on-time service, which is exactly what you want from your mechanic. Their waiting room is pretty rough, but Id rather have reasonable prices and great service than a nice waiting room.

CPM Auto will be the only mechanics my family will use from this point forward . I had taken my Jeep to a different mechanic that gave me an incomplete listOf issue but it included my rear main seal (about $900 job) . When CPM diagnosed, they found the same issue. When I went to pick up my vehicle, Jose (Owner), came to me and explained that my rearmain seal was just fine that it was just my oil pan that caused the issue . He had all of my paperwork from my prior mechanic and very well could have charged me for a rear main seal and I wouldn’t have questioned anything. They are the most honest and trustworthy mechanics I’ve ever met. Being a single female without knowledge, you can imagine how many times, I’ve had bad experiences. Ive NEVER had a bad experience with CPM. Service has always been excellent.

Never again. The only thing I do at this shop is get my oil changed. Today I was asked if my car was a turbo, while it was already in the shop. If you cant tell its a turbo by looking under the hood you shouldnt be allowed to change my oil. Then of course I was hit with the you need a new air filter my air filter only has 9k miles on it. I brought my car here to change the oil, thats what you do. To top all that off, when I finally thought my car was ready I was notified that my key had exploded into 5 separate pieces. Thank you so much.

They wanted to charge me $800 to fix my oil pan. I towed it to another shop and got it fixed for $160. Outrageous prices and terrible service. Never again

Ive taken my car there 3 times and every time has been a positive experience. Easy to schedule and always ending up costing way less than I would imagine. Great honest guys... I was on my way out and the mechanic who worked on my car ran out to check in on me again and offered more support if needed. Good people.(Also, I never review places, but this place has been great to me. I wanted to share that, because its not was easy to find a welcoming / no pressure good auto shop)

I had a problem with my power steering pump. I brought it in at 3:30 on a Saturday and they squeezed me in for a quick inspection to determine the problem. I got a call by 5 with the situation and another issue with the exhaust was fixed. No charge, have a nice day. Excellent garage, easily the only one I trust and I live in New Hampshire.

I have such a problem bringing my car to be repaired by someone else. My CRV was coughing, and sputtering, and giving me a variety of obd codes. I went through everything systematically looking for bad sensors and vacuum leaks, but couldnt zero in on anything. Thy he mechanic working on my car came in after 20 min with a faulty line under the engine cover that obviously was causing a BAD vacuum leak. I was in and out, and my car is running like new again! Thank you CPM!

Beware they work on commission so it will cost you go in for a oil change and end up spending a 1000 dollars

I know the owner from the work he does volunteering for the RI Naval Sea Cadet program (a great program for youths) where I have actually been volunteering as well the past few months. I had purchased a new car and wanted to make sure it was in good shape while the sale was recent and called CPM ahead of time to see if they could fit me in. Mr. Taboada, the owner, told me to bring it right in, and when I saw 6 other people in the cozy waiting room for coffee and TV I was glad I brought my graduate school entrance exam prep guide so I could get some work done while I waited for what I thought was going to be 2 hours.Every other customer was taken care of in what seemed to be good time and were given all of the technical information about their repairs ahead of billing so the customers had a chance to ask questions and the mechanics seemed to be guiding them towards the best course of action and not just replacing this and that. I heard we may need to replace sensor at some point down the line, but really for now all we need to do is this.My mechanic brought me out under the car and explained what he would normally find on a VW like mine, but was really impressed with how mine drove and the shape that it was in. He shined a light on certain problem areas that seemed to be in good condition and also told about the 2 minor things that may eventually need attention (1 being the rotors, a normal brake job.)I knew the staff didnt take care of me because I knew the owner, as everyone that went ahead of me was treated the exact same way. Fortunately for me I can say I know a good mechanic, but Id recommend you check CPM out next time you need a repair.

I had a 12:00 appt for a state inspection. By 12:01 they had my car in the bay being inspected and I was done and out the door by 12:20! Cant ask for much better than that!

Always took my cars to cpm. I got a 2013 civic ex thats a lease. this time around figure Id bring it to honda to check everything out seeing as it was a lease...#1 it was actually cheaper, #2 there friendlier and seem more knowledgeable, #3, my oil filter was wet! #4 my drain plug bolt was loose! #5 the antifreeze was low, guess cause when its brand new the air bubbles work there way out making the level lower. last time Im taking it to cpm EVER. thats bs. you can bring any car here and print a coupon offline for 10% off the 54$ oil change. thanks cpm lol
