This was my first time in there. They had everything I needed and so much more!!

The employees were nice and offered help which I appreciated. The store was stocked with alot of beauty supply items and it was easy to find what I was looking for. The only downside is that the lighting inside could be brighter. Other than that, I would recommend going.

Had a lot of beauty products, didnt have the kiss black rinse, I was looking for.

The little Asian guy is rude but the store has a lot of useful products. We are the customers so we can decide if we want to spend our money there or else where...due to customer service, this wouldnt be my first choice!

Yesterday, my friend and I tried to exchange the lengths of hair that I bought and the guy at the Cashier yelled at me in front everyone. I was so embarrassed and frustrated. I didn’t do anything wrong to the man! I’m very disappointed with this place and how I was treated!!! Because I defended myself from being yelled at by him, he told me he won’t help me exchange the length to a better one. I had the receipts and everything. Just because you can talk to anyone kind of way, doesn’t mean you can get away with it be cause you work there! I was respectful and calm with him. The way I was treated yesterday was wrong and uncalled for. This incident happened like around 6:30 p.m.!!!! I hate this place and I will never go back again!!!!!!!!!

Awful customer service, from picking up the phone to asking for help at the store, I’m giving 2 stars because they had good selection of hair, just not the one that I needed. They were so rude.

Purchased a wig that I got assistance with from a store worker and it wasn’t the right color and I wanted to exchange it for the correct color and they wouldn’t allow me.. store person was very rude and didn’t offer any other options.. I will definitely contact better business regarding this matter.

Large physical location but the staff is not knowledgeable of stock nor are they helpful. Limited amount of staff might be the Reason the staff not knowing what items are available.A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

And from small city up north where is difficult to get great products at a great price for your hair and body,. Once we enter the store, we had so much fun. We were so excited to find everything we wanted, everything we needed, and everything we didnt know we wanted, had a great time! The stuff was helpful and wonderful too!

Well stocked quick business

They are dishonest and overpriced. I came in to purchase Marley twist hair (sensationnel Jamaican locks 44”). I searched online first to see if I could get it a little cheaper and I found that the hair has been discontinued so anyone that has it in stock is just trying to get rid of it at this point. I came here because I knew they have the natural colors in stock since they only have bright red and pink online.I had purchased this same hair from this store a few months ago and from my last purchase I realized the hair was really poor quality in comparison to other times I’ve bought it. And when I arrived at the store today I noticed that all the hair they have left is just the same. And I know for certain they haven’t restocked it. The hair was very rough and matted.I managed to find 3 packs that looked decent but the rest of the hair was clearly old, you could tell from not even opening the pack up because the plastic is turning cloudy. I really needed to do my hair tho so I was still willing to buy but for the fourth pack I wanted a discount. I showed them the difference between the good and bad hair, I explained how I paid over $100 for packs of this hair 3 months ago and it looks like they still had that same hair on the shelf. They said they restock every week. LIE. How can you restock hair that’s been discontinued? I let it slide. I ask if they’d be willing to give me a discount for ONE pack of hair. They refused so I decided not to buy any hair at all. They didn’t have to lie and they could have at the very least met me half way considering the hair was clearly of poor quality and I was still willing to buy. Mind you, this hair was $14 a pack.I will never return to this store. They don’t seem to care about the quality of the things they sell and they don’t know anything about black hair. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here because they’re probably selling a lot of old products for full price. I’m annoyed that they were so unwilling to accommodate me when I’m probably the only person that was even willing to take that hair off their hands. Their loss. They’ve lost a long time customer.

I visited the store for the first time last month and couldnt be more happy. The staff were so helpful and I left feeling confident. Having donated my hair in July and it being very short now I was getting really sad. Staff helped me pick out a half wig that matched my hair color and omg its fantastic. Ill be returning for more wigs regardless of my hair length because its fun. Thank you so much and keep up the awesome customer service.

I went into this beauty supply around 6pm, and I only needed thread. As I was about to check out the guy rang me up for $1 and some change. I pulled out my debit card, and proceeded to pay. As I did, all of a sudden the guy became really loud with me continuously saying they have a $2 minimum. I however, am aware that companies charge a minimum which is no problem, but at this store it was NOT properly displayed for customers to be aware of it. I think the guy came up with the rule as soon as i stepped up. So i continued to ask him to show me a sign where it says a $2 minimum is required and he refused to do so(because clearly it was a made up thing by him at the moment). I proceeded to ask him his name and he tried to be funny continuously saying “$2 minimum” as if it was a joke.Be mindful, I previously came into the store 2 days prior purchasing nail glue with my debit card and was charged the exact price of $.50. Where was the minimum then?Money was not the problem, the minimum was not the problem, the problem was his disrespect as he informed me of the minimum and them neglecting to have it visable to customers so that they are aware. Anyway, I hate rude businesses and I will NEVER return due to them being rude and trying to jip people out of their money. Get it together, seriously. And there is no need to be rude to customers if they are obviously supporting your business. Never again.

My girlfriend goes to this place quite often, and has never had an issue. Today she goes in there, and when it was her turn to be served the person behind the counter stepped away. Another person comes to the counter, and my girlfriend pays for her items. As she is leaving the store the first person says I wasnt going to sell weave to a white girl so she steal another thing from black people. Needless to say I do not recommend going to this establishment anymore.

My sister bought some Marley braiding hair, got her receipt and walked out of the store. She immediately walked back in when she noticed they charged her for 2 extra items. The woman who had just helped her seconds before acted like she had never seen her before. She asked for her money back and they had to go through the cameras to prove that she wasnt stealing. Seriously a crazy experience. Ill never give my money to these crooks again. Theres a better store on 159th anyway.

Cashier was very rude to my wife. The owners make you feel like a criminal. All African Americans do not steal!

The store itself is okay but their prices are high for the weave .Customer Service - The lady with the nice gray hair (pardon - I do not know her name) is great. She is warm and welcoming..But the other older lady is a nuance. She follows you around the store making your whole shopping experience VERYYYY uncomfortable. She made me want to rush and leave out. She would stand right next to me and just stand there. Very uncomfortable! And when I asked her to give me a price of something she had a bad attitude..With all this I just left and went to Kalis and did not deal with them after that

The young lady who helped me was helpful and concerned. I was irritated though bc when I called and asked if Touch of Beauty carried X-pressions pre-stretched hair the man on the phone said they carry all X-pressions hair...HE LIED. After being not able to find the hair, the black sales associate asked the non- black man (manager? Owner?) in the store about the X-pressions pre-stretched hair, while looking down, he shakes his head No, they dont carry it. The young ladys help along with me standing in the store and going on YOUTUBE for reviews of another brand of hair, salvaged the trip. I needed the hair the next morning, it was 7:30pm and other beauty supply stores were closed or soon closing. I am refraining from stereotyping, but yall know whats up.😒

I will never go here again! The only reason why I gave this review 1 star is because you have to rate at least 1 to make a review. I came into the store to grab a few items. As I walked into the store no one greated me or acknowledge that I was there. There were two co wonders talking as if they were at a family reunion. I asked them for help (after they finally looked over to notice I had been patiently waiting to ask for help) and they pointed me and the wrong direction. After looking all over the store for barrettes for my little girl I asked again. This time it took even longer for them to break their conversation so I said excuse me to get help. Finally the woman decided to help me. Upon checking out the cashier was very unfriendly, never asked if I found everything ok or even stated the total (which was the guy talking with the female). He snatched my card, put it in the machine, and hit credit. I asked him why would you hit credit on MY card on the key pad. He gives me a BS answer saying sometimes their machines dont work if they run it with debit. I was so pissed that he insulted my intelligence with that bs answer that I grabbed my things and walked out. Do not shop here! There are way better stores that will appreciate your money!

Correction bt police r not always there ive been shopping there since they opened n i used to be a Walmart employee the cops r usually at Walnart 9times out of 10....
