We just got ice cream this time. Its SO good! Creamy, rich, no icy bits or anything like some places.I got a scoop of butter brickle, the husband got a butterscotch malt milkshake. The butterscotch definitely plays up the malt flavor, if youre into that.Cozy spot next to a golf course, so the scenery is nice too. Seating available outside on the patio currently; indoor seating is closed for safety. 💛
Delicious housemade ice cream. Creamy, no artificial taste. The Key Lime and the Blueberry were to die for. Some of the best homemade ice cream Ive ever eaten! Too bad we live too far away to stop in for a weekly fix.
I don’t normally leave reviews but today I’m gonna. I started to come to Doozies quite frequently this last month because me and my dog enjoy getting ice cream and driving around the lake. I normally order a chocolate doozie with Reese’s peanut butter cup and “LIGHT” on the gummy bears. Someone thought it would be funny to load it with gummy bears and no Reese’s. Not sure where it came from considering I believe the owner was the one who took my order. Thanks for that guys!
Burgers and shakes yummy!!!! My husband and son had double bacon burgers only complaints a little messy with the sauce and toppings but delicious. I tried the special burger of the day the Greek. It was very fresh tasting with lovely cucumbers feta tomato and tzatziki sauce. Shakes were awesome we had strawberry chocolate mixed and a pineapple which is my hubby’s favorite and he was impressed. Fries were some of the best I have had and the portion was so big we had 1 order we ended up taking home. Worth the drive

Over a weekend we tried 2 ice cream places in Omaha that were over priced for what you got. The last night in town, a friend recommended Doozies for ice cream. Friendly staff, GREAT ICE CREAM. Spent the least amount for it, and by far, the best ice cream we had this weekend.
The shake was the only good thing off the menu. The pork tenderloin was very dry and flavorless it had no seasoning at all nor sauces. The spicy chicken sandwhich was also flavorless it had no spice to it whatsoever just a dry chicken tender on a bun that was very crunchy and no sauce like Sriracha or anything to make it a spicy chicken sandwhich. The fries werent impressive neither. If it wasnt for the shake i would have definitely gave it a 1 star. You can get more flavorful food at mcdonalds for cheaper.

My son and I tried after a baseball game. We both ordered the single cheeseburger combo that came with fries and drink. We had everything on and added bacon and fried egg. Everything was perfect bun, burger, egg, fries and I mean perfect. We still managed to order some of the homemade ice cream, my son ordered the chocolate mocha and I had the birthday cake. The ice cream was amazing as well. I usually don’t like birthday cake but this was everything it should be, my some thought the mocha was awesome as well. The only bad part is, we live in Kansas but we have family in area and will make Doozies part of every visit
The service was good. I have a dairy allergy and specifically asked that the bun not be toasted (they use butter to grill their buns) and no cheese. I got all the way home and the burger had cheese on it and bun had been toasted. Pretty annoyed to have spent quite a bit of money on something I couldn’t even eat.
First time there... my family really enjoyed the food. It was delicious!!! I would recommend to all my friends.
Its a nice small town bar. It is part gas station, kwik shop, bar, The folks are very nice and it appears to be clean. They also have a nice beer garden for smokers.

Went here for ice cream with the wife and my parents. Heard about Doozies from Facebook and decided to try their ice cream specials. We traveled 40 mins give or take with traffic to try this awesome homemade ice cream! Place is off the beaten path which is nice in my eyes. Everyone but me got the three scoops with a waffle cone, I got the two scoops in a cup. Holy smokes the size of the scoops! I was glad I only got the two. Scoops had to be the size of a tennis ball. Staff was friendly. Dinning area was closed due to the Rona, but the patio was open. If you want some really good homemade ice cream we would recommend this place 100 percent. Cant wait to try their burgers next visit.

Suzie your Ice Cream Joint is by far the best in town, but one thing, you need to change the older person taking orders. I think you should have her in the back helping get orders rather than serving customers🙂. I have read a lot of your reviews and they seem to have all the ring about it with her.. I was hoping not to post this. But when you change her position I will remove this immediately!! Still give 5star. I have had many bad experiences but its still not enough for me not to come back! Good place!
This is a great place to go during the spring and summer months! We are always sad when it closes for the season. It is a blessing and a curse to all of the different and unique flavors of ice cream they make. Makes it hard to choose sometimes, and can be a bummer when you find a flavor you love when they dont have it in the current rotation.They have really tasty food as well. The hamburgers are very juicy, as well as the chicken sandwiches. My son loves their patty melts, and my daughter thinks their grilled cheeses are amazing!We highly recommend this place! Especially on nice days when you can find an open table outside!

Hi. The food was amazing! But I had a terrible experience with the employee, Mathew? He was being really rude and I saw him picking his nose with no gloves on!!! And He did not wear his mask. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with him. Maybe someone should talk to him and give him consequences?

We heard about this place & wanted to check it out few days ago. Loaded up my kids & drove about 45 minutes from Blair Nebraska to have lunch (which as totally worth it). Cheeseburger & fries were awesome. Our big, handmade burgers were juicy & tasty. My daughter ordered a hot dog & fried. It came cut down the middle & grilled on a bun. She liked it. Of course we had to squeeze in a scoop of ice cream. Sinful chocolate, cake batter & cookies & cream. I love the flavors choices of scooped ice cream. Currently they have few tables outside with umbrellas, (no inside seating due to Covid). We opted to eat in the car w/ AC. That was not a problem for us. Looking forward to taking the whole family next time.

Our work goes here at least once a week and spend over a $100 there almost every week. When you spend that much and use a bill over a 20 your money is no good there. If you buy $35 worth of food you should be able to use a $50 bill or $125 you should be able to use a $100 bill. And not told sorry we cant take that. I understand policy, but that needs to change. As of right now Justin nor myself or my workers will be eating there. I will go else where.
A year ago I would of given 5 stars and a you have to visit this place review. After my visit today I will not be going back. Last year ice cream was amazing and the service was great. Today the ice cream was just ok, nothing special, and the middle aged lady at the window that took my order was very rude. When the walk up window opened I was greeted with a what do you want. As I started my order she interrupted me with I need a name. I placed my order, she said go wait in the patio as I stand there with my card waiting to pay. As I take a step back wondering when Im supposed to pay she snaps at me with I need $9.41. The young girl that brought out the ice cream was very nice. She said thank you and have a nice day. I will exercise my right to not go back.

Haven’t even received our food yet just giving one star based on the customer service experience. Just like Josh who reviewed this place a week ago the middle-aged woman (I would say more like late 50s) at the window was very rude. I’ve never left a review before, but my 10 year old son was so offended he thought I should warn people about the evil old hag at the window. First thing she said to me was scold me for having a coffee in my hand claiming it to be a beer. Then she gave me attitude about the numbering on the stalls for to go orders. I asked her about the cheeseburgers and she just blankly stared at me. My son had to respond to my questions just to break the awkwardness. Still tipped out the lady just to show her that there is kindness in the world and maybe to see her smile, which never happened of course.Edited to three stars because chicken strips were good and burger was good and maybe lady was having a bad day. Will give a second chance.

This review is strictly based on the customer service that we received this afternoon, first off we ordered our food as normal and after we got our food we went back up the the door ( the business was very close to closing) to get a receipt that we requested prior as well as a sandwich that we ordered and didn’t get. After getting up to the looked door I knocked a few times to grab the attention of the five staff members inside and as they all looked directly back at me the staff members all ignored me and continued to clean up for the night. Frustrated and aggravated at the very poor customer service I went to the window that was blocked off by cups and knocked again trying to get someone’s attention and yet I get the same response. It’s sad to tarnish an great food place because of piss poor attitude and terrible customer service.

First time eating at Doozies, and the family was impressed. the burgers were good and juicy, plenty of toppings on them. fries were very good, and the chili cheese fries were pretty awesome. definitely will go to doozies again!
Food was much better this time around, everything was cooked well, well seasoned, tasted great, and was freshly made. Their ice cream is always top notch, but their hot foods have taken a step up and they seem to have hit their stride.

The food is to die for, the burgers are amazing, the fries, the onion pellets, the hotdogs, its amazing! The homemade cream is really amazing too, new flavors each week! The staff is super friendly and the place is very nicely built and made.
The Pros: This place is absolutely fantastic. IMO, these are the best burgers and chicken sandwiches in the metro area. Everything is home made, hand breaded and hand pattied. Ice cream is made in house and is delicious. Great customer service!!!The Cons: The building is really small. They seem to constantly mess up take out orders. The time before last they forgot to include a whole salad. The next time I went in, I ordered another salad and they didnt give me dressing. (After eating a salad, I would not recommend ordering one anyways.) I would be very hesitant to put in a large lunch order or takeout order and expect it to be correct.
We stumbled upon this place on accident. Never has there ever been a happier accident. The burgers were so good; the fries were home-cut and perfect! I wish we had room for homemade ice cream because everything that walked past us looked incredible. We live 90 miles away, or we would have taken some with us!

The ice cream is so good here. They make it themselves and it’s so high quality. Nice and smooth, and amazing flavors. My 2 favorite: Rocky Road- must be homemade marshmallows, chunks of chocolate and toasted almond in a smooth chocolate (good quality cocoa)base. Toasted coconut- beautiful toasted coconut in a sweet cream base. Simple and perfect.Great burgers too.

Ive been going to this place since I was a kid. The name has changed a few times but the home cooked quality food and ice cream has remained consistent. Ill stop in a few times a summer and Im never disappointed. My favorite dish is cheese balls and they load you up on them.

Great food and ice cream. Burgers and fries and similar fare. Takes a while to get food sometimes, but that it because it is made fresh. Get a single burger- the double is too much and it honestly doesnt taste good compared to the single with all of the burger and griddle juice that soaks the bun.

SOO GOOD AND SO WORTH THE (SMALL AMOUNT OF) MONEY. We accidentally found this place and we are from way out of town. Its clean and the kids running it did a great job. Cute and right next to the country club. We wish we were way closer!
The only thing that I can think ofTo make this place any better would be for it to be open year round and for the community to support this place know if they can add more seating or add on to the building. Ice cream is homemade and it taste amazing! A double cheeseburger is a monster! Everything is fresh and great. The fries even have a really good flavor. The fries even have a really good flavor!
