Freshly made very good icecream and great service. I believe one of the owners is there behind the counter most of the time. Good local Council Bluffs family.

Amazing. Went tonight on a recommendation. Tried several flavors. All delicious. Owner served us and is extremely nice and fun to talk to. We ordered two pints and he threw in a couple other flavors (like honey rosemary, and it was fantastic). I just wish it was in Omaha so we could go more often.

Stepped into the Bennett Ave location, to a beautiful smile. A friendly welcome and explanation of the options was superb. Non dairy, etc. French toast was delightful. Cherry has lovely chunks and tasted good. Strawberry was really really good. Kids and I enjoyed the outdoor picnic tables in this glorious weather. Its another lovely local option to add to our favourites.

Ice cream was good. Poor fishes couldn’t see in the water. There was some bees chilling outside disturbing the neighborhood. Thank you.

If you are a lover of ice cream this is the place to go homemade flavors and very creative I had sour cream raspberry and it was amazing.

Big scoops for a small joint! My family really enjoyed the icecream here. You can tell its homemade. I was surprised there was nondairy options! The raspberry sorbet was great, a twist of lime would help offset some of the sweetness but I cant complain!, its nice to have some nondairy options in a small town! This will definitely be my families go to after the park stop during the summer.

The icecream was amazing most definitely the best in Council Bluffs. Customer service was good. I was put off by 4 dirty (no disrespect just playing outside kind of dirty) kids running back and forth behind the counter while one lady was trying to help Customers.

The icecream is hands down the best in town. However, they never have butter pecan. We go there a couple times a week or call specifically to check and they never have it so we always end up going somewhere else which sucks! Maybe one day they will regularly have it like everywhere else.

Best desert in town, service was great can’t wait for my next visit!

Was here for the first time a couple minutes ago and i tried the ice cream and it was delicious and the cone was freshly made me and my family were mind blown we will definitely come here more we all give it a 10/10

This little hidden gem might be the highlight of our trip to Omaha, its all homemade with exotic flavors and my favorite part.....they serve cookie dough, no not ice cream, actual cookie dough, 5 flavors to choose from and they scoop it out just like the ice cream and stick it on a cone!!! 10 outta 10 recommends it!!! 💚☘

If you have a gluten allergy or anything similar this isn’t the place for you. Ice cream was labeled wrong and they only told me AFTER I tried a bite. So great place if you want a stomach ache or an allergic reaction.

TLDR version: Best peach sorbet Ive ever had. Including all my grandmas homemade stuff. Please nobody tell her that.I never post reviews but made a conscious effort to leave this one. I even took a picture because this was the absolute best peach sorbet Ive ever had. The best sorbet or even ice cream (thats right! I said it!) that Ive ever had.While at Zaltes, I got four different flavors to try because they all sounded so good (and dont get me wrong, they were all delicious), but I was actually sad when that peach sorbet was gone.I think it might have been the owner who helped me with my order, but Im not sure. Whoever he was, he was very passionate about his craft, and the fact that the sorbets could be so colorful and flavorful without additives or dyes is worthy of awards.Since I cant give any awards, Ill have to settle for giving a lengthy review instead. Did I mention Im writing this about 9 hours later? I cant stop thinking about how great it was!

We love zaltes, definitely one of our favorites in the omaha area! We have always had great service and you can tell they care about their customers! We went for our favorite flavor today, CBPB, only to find out they were sold out. We were talking to the owner and mentioned how much we loved CBPB and how we were there to purchase pints. Since they didn’t have it, he offered us a free pint of a Skittles Sherbet they were trying out. We were blown away by the amazing customer service!We will definitely be back for our pints of CBPB when it is available! If you ever find yourself in the Council Bluffs area, check out Zaltes for amazing ice cream!

Met the owner and he is very nice. Personally demonstrated liquid nitrogen to us and it’s really cool! Ice cream’s wonderful and so is the cookie dough! Really recommend this place if you are in town.

Really nice family owned ice cream shop. The shops always very clean and those working are always very nice. They make their ice cream and let me tell you, its hands down the best ice cream in all of Council Bluffs. Their Monster cookie and blueberry cheesecake are out of this world, best ice cream Ive ever had.

I give it a 3 only for the fact I thought it to be quiet expensive. We have lived in Oklahoma for sometime where you can get a double dip waffle cone for 3 dollars and sometimes on sale for 1.99. Five dollars for 2 scoops of ice cream is a lot on top of paying another dollar for a waffle cone.

We love this new place and its little local charm. The homemade icecream and cookie dough flavors we have tried so far are ah-mazing and rich in flavor. The butterbrickle reminds me of my grandmas 😍.
