Fun purchase at the time but now very disappointed with my NEW F250 7.3 gas. It has 3600 miles now and it makes more pops, bangs under the floorboard area and clunking from the transmission. The service department and salesman said that is normal sounds from this type of truck. BS!! Ive only owned nothing but Fords and seriously thinking about changing brands. This is the first time buying a new Ford and now realizing this was a bad decision. McMullen needs to step it up on their customer service. So far just not satisfied!!
I really like my truck and most of staff were very good and helpful. I just have one issue. On drivers side there is something rubbing the paint off under the door. I came back a week after purchasing truck and asked salesman about it. He stated that it was like that before and was caused by foot rubbing while getting in and out of door. I never seen that spot when I purchased truck and the door doesnt shut properly. So not sure if something is loose on door and that caused paint to rub off as well as door to not shut properly. Also there was no jack with truck, but salesman stated that they would order one for me.
I recently bought a vehicle from McMullen and couldnt have been happier with the whole process. I found the car I wanted, test drove it, and then went home. The rest was done quickly and efficiently. I didnt have to spend a whole day buying a car. I found it. I loved it. I bought it. I went back and brought it home a couple hours later. Highly recommend!
Traveled over and hour to look at a truck they had and caught them 1 hour before closing. I ended up buying the truck because I felt on a time crunch. I wish I wouldnt of rushed myself into it. Im mechanically inclined and asked alot of questions about the truck and got very little knowledge on it. So with being put in a bind I went against my gut and bought the truck. We were rushed out only to find the next day the floor mats werent in the back of the truck, I asked where they ended up and the salesman informed there were never floor mats. Weird considering the stock photos had them in the bed of the truck. I was a one time customer and will remain a one time customer

I had the catalytic converter stolen off my truck. Service at McMullen ford, said they do not often work with insurance. The body shop yes, service no. My insurance told me the estimate was not sent, Ford told me they did. The delay resulted in a 3 hour job, taking 5 days. The work is good, the delay cost a star.
Driving cross country from Upper Michigan to Colorado. Engine light came on so we stopped. They were super busy, but fit us in. In and out in about 3 hours. Shout out to Erik, the service advisor, gave our grand dog some treats and kept us updated on the situation, Noah, his trainee and Nate the mechanic that got us back on the road! Plus all the other associates that gave our grand dog pets. GREAT PLACE AND A GREAT CREW! Highly recommend!
Wrong item was fixed... It problem was ID at the time I dropped it off to the service advisor... however when we picked up the F250 he indicated they tighten down the side runners... however when I look the problem was not address..... and he indicate he needed to order the part... it has been a week since I have heard anything from the service advisor on the status...
I stopped here for service for my car. I’m traveling across the country to my new home and my car had some issues. I called around for help and couldn’t get one to look at the car. I call McMullen Ford and spoke to Eric in the service department. He was beyond helpful and went above and beyond in service. He was willing to work with my tight schedule and some special circumstances. Dropped my car off that evening and had it back and repaired before noon the following day. Thank you again. If I was staying in Iowa would definitely be buying my next car from McMullen.
On our way back home to Sioux Falls we had a problem with the electric shift cable on the car. (Just needed a new $1.50 piece snapped in to place) Eric in the service department and James one of the mechanics were able to get us in quick and back on the road in no time. They were both fantastic!! Friendly and great service.

First off: Joseph Phillips is an All-Star!!!I was an out of state buyer with some relatively easy demands, pictures of the chassis and other suspension items to see the level of rust on the vehicle. Couldnt get it on a lift but crawled underneath the vehicle and took plenty of pictures to honestly portray the condition of the vehicle. Even sent a video of a walk around. The ease in which this all took place was refreshing. I flew in to the airport, was met at the security gate by a professionally dressed (Mr. Phillips) and off we went to the dealership. Outside of a wait for the busy finance office, I was in and out within 2.5 hours and driving home. Dealership gets a a great rating because the salesman was top-notch!!

My God.Not a good experience and I was only there for 30 minutes. My buddy and I were walking in the lot wanting to look around before going in. We are immediately approached by a salesman who asks if we need help. No, just looking. He says we are in the employee lot. Ok fine. So he asks what I am looking for. I assume he is going to point us to the correct lot and tell him a small sedan or suv. He goes OKAAY? AAND? I wish I could convey the way that he said it through text. But it immediately left a disgusting taste in my mouth. I am a 26 yr old blonde woman, and I could immediately tell that he felt superior to me. He somehow talked us into coming inside. The sales manager was the same way!I told them 15k. They didnt listen.Immediately try to talk me into 20k. Told me they didnt know who put it into my head that I could find a used car for $15k and under 70 thousand miles.I understand sales men have their tactics and I know thats how they make their money. But there is a right way and a wrong way. And the way they do it literally had me running out of the door.They showed me ONE car. If yall dont have inventory. Just say so. Dont waste my time and yours.Even if they had a killer deal from this point on. I wouldnt go there. NEVER again. I dont line the pockets of those whom cant give common courtesy or respect. Their presence felt pushy and suffocating. And Ive been to enough dealerships to know that isnt the norm.
I bought a car from them quite a few years ago, and the air intake grill on the lower part of the front bumper fell out and broke while I was at the car wash. I took it in and told them about it, and the service guy said that it happens all the time because they put cheap plastic clips to hold it in. They replaced it, then tried to charge me for it. They said that it looked like I ran into something, but I didnt hit anything. I looked, but there was no damage on the underside of the front bumper like they claimed. In the end I had to pay for the new part, even though I only had the car for 2 months. I have never gone back there, and have advised everybody I know whos looking for a car not to go there. They dont stand behind their cars. Once you drive off the lot they dont care anymore.
I had my 2015 Ford Edge serviced at McMullen Ford on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 and received exemplary service. They also completed a recall, helped me with an issue that I was having with pairing my cellphone with the SUVs bluetooth, gave me a ride back home after I dropped it off in the morning and picked me up at home to go back to the dealership when the work was completed, The only thing I was charged for was the oil change and lube. I was very satisfied with their service.
I recently bought a Ford Edge from McMullen Ford. The experience was great. The salesman, Josh, was knowledge, easygoing and not pushy. He worked hard to find the car I wanted. When I made the decision to buy, McMullen offered a the aftermarket things other dealers offer but McMullen did not give me the heavy handed sales pitch most car dealers do. The let me pick what was right fie me. I would buy another Ford from them.

Made a 2 pm appt with Larry, service mgr who explained what needed to be done and time frame.I arrived and was greeted by my salesman Frank. I explained my special requests . He took me to the owners office and I was accommodated with the car to be inspected in the service bay and no one would drive the car. 2020 GT500. Mr McMullen oversaw the procedure with me and had mechanic explain what the borescope showed. Cam chain tensioner had been released and no further work needed.5 Star rating plus.

We took our Ford Escape in originally middle of March to have check engine light looked at, left for 2 days and nothing was done. Took back in, left for 2 more days and within hours of picking up light was back on again. Took us over a month to get another appt, finally after 2 months (June) got the car back in and is now fixed. We had requested a loaner car during that time and assured no problem. I called day before to check, it had notbeen reservered as promised. We are a customer of McMullin and their customer service has always been good so were very surprised and disappointed this time around. The car is now fixed after 2 months of going back and forth,. It has been an unusual year so hoping this is just a fluke in their customer service.

The service on my Ford Flex was very good and completed in good time. I also was let know that there was some regular service coming do and that was also completed in good time. I will continue to use McMullen Ford for all my vehicle service and will recommend them to other people.
My husband and I absolutely loved our experience of buying our car here. Ron, Ronnie, Pete, and Steve were incredibly helpful and made every step as easy as it could be. They all did an amazing job of answering every question we had and making us feel at home. The receptionist (I didn’t get her name) was also as sweet as could be. Their prices were great too! We are so happy with our new (at least to us) Camry.They most definitely earned our business the next time we need to purchase a car.
The price for the work done was fair. The quality of the work done was good. I did not even mind that the work took longer than originally stated. This issue was that the service department did not communicate the new timelines to me, even after I called asking, and requested updates. The job i was told would take a week to a week and a half took over 3 weeks, and they never called me until the job was done.
I did not receive the after service report I usually get. I asked for it and was told in a rather dismissive manner Your car is fine. I felt like I was being rushed out. People were polite, but did not review all that was done to my car.I understand this is a new group of service personnel. I have been a loyal customer of McMullen for over 30 years and expect to get the best in service for my car and customer service for me

We worked with Frank who is a great salesman and an all around great guy, he kept our kids entertained while he walked us through our options, the rest of the staff didnt mind my nosey kid walking around asking questions and trying to touch everything. They all seemed to enjoy talking to him. I will 100% be going back for a work truck in the next year or so based solely on how the treat buyers and kids.

They told me the used car I bought passed inspection and was great. I bought out of state and when I brought it home my mechanic told me the rear breaks were shot and rotors. 400$ fix not even two days after buying the car. They lied to me like any other dealership.

I am from Arkansas and currently working in Council Bluffs. I had a recent recall issue on my 2018 F150, and took it to McMullen for repair. Even though I didnt buy my truck there, I was treated politely and professionally. The work was done in a timely manner, and they even washed my truck while it was there. I am very pleased with the service I received.

While driving through the community from Colorado to pick up our new 5th wheel, my 2019 F350DRW developed a check engine light. I drove up at 8am without an appointment and was helped by Tony Loser. Tony provided me 5 star customer service and got my truck right in for an eval. Why a diesel with only 3200 miles burns up its DPF is frustrating but it was not Tonys fault. Tony provided me timely and helpful advice for the rest of the trip. Tonys help and wisdom provided great comfort for the rest of the 900 mile trip. Tony is the best!!!

Ron Dufek, our salesman, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the truck and was extremely fair with the price and my trade-in. Aaron Winter Cohen, the finance guy, did a great job on all of the final sales documents. It was quick and efficient and he gave us a great deal on the extended warranty. I had a horrible experience with the finance department Bob Faucet last week. I brought my 2013 Ford Taurus in to see about trading it off. Josh was a very friendly sales person prided himself for working at a family oriented business he said Mr McMullen was a great family guy. I said that’s good to know because I had never been there before. Josh found me Ford Escape 19950 after all the rebates he told me they would pay off the three thousand owed on my car. He introduced me to Bob said he was going to do the financing. I told them I have my car loan through Metro Credit Union. So my friend and I are busy cleaning out the car I was in Joshs office waiting to speak to Bob . I’m not sure what happened to go over things with Bob but someone brought me a paper in to sign. I signed it not knowing exactly what I signed because no one broke down the financing with me then I was told I would be talking to Pete. Pete only went over the taxes license plates and interest and payments. It’s getting really late I haven’t been in the best of health so I trusted everyone. I was a little puzzled about the amount but I was very tired after all this I trusted everyone that they were paying three thousand on my car and if it was more than that I would pay the difference. The next day I read my paperwork and saw that Bob only put 500.00 trade in on my car and put the remainder that I owed on my loan. I was mislead I called the next day and asked why i never got the three thousand trade in for my car like was said. Never was five hundred ever mentioned for 2013 Ford Taurus. I would of never traded it in for that it was a limited fully loaded. I told them I wanted my car back they said it’s too bad you signed the paperwork. I learned a valuable lesson never trust anyone from that car dealership. I’m an older woman and I just wanted a fair trade but now I have to pay off my old car and my new car at a higher interest. This whole thing has upset me so bad. I’ve called several times went in there and not one person will make it right. In all car dealerships I’ve dealt with I have never been treated so poorly. They said they were going to pay off my car for three thousand. Crooked people don’t ever do business with them.

I had to get my truck in for a recall on short notice and they were very helpful in that aspect.I also needed a loaner car in which they were also very helpful.While it was there I had them do an oil change also. A couple days after I paid (30% more than my usual Ford dealership) I looked at my receipt a little closer and seen that they charged me $15 for a jug of DEF fluid. I had just filled my DEF tank days before so basically they ripped me off. I have bought 4 new vehicles from this dealership and even brought my father in who also bought a new vehicle. I will never come back to this place again now so I hope the $15 was worth it!!!!
I was not pleased with the way things went. I left there wondering why I spent as much as I did. I had to call to find out about my truck 10 hours after my appointment was supposed to start. I had to call since it was close to closing time and I needed my truck back.. I was told on the phone that there wasnt anything found when they scanned for a code. So there isnt anything can do. However when I picked it up I was charged $156. This was the flat rate for scanning the truck. I questioned it before paying and they told me the technician should have told me over the phone (which he didnt). He told me that recall had been completed. I just dont appreciate being blindsided with a $150 charge. I wont be back to this shop.

I brought my mustang in after setting an appoinment on line at the scheduled time,was told that was just for oil changes,that is not specified on the website.My reason for service was it was misfiring, you had it a week and I was told I had a broken plug and 3 fouled plugs.They change the plugs which I am convinced the broken one happened when they took it out.Picked the car up after a week and was told engine light would stay on because i did not have o2 sensors because of my catted exhaust.3 days later it was doing the same thing.Took it to baxter and within 2 houirs they had it diagnosed with a bad o2 sensor that was sesing the right bank to run lean,so it was over compesating and pumping more fuel then what was needed.This caused the mis fires and fouling out.Now how is it baxter changed the sensor i dont have and cleaned the plugs and the car runs great.Not sure what your mechanisc was looking at but you lost my bussiness.Also this cost me $500.00 to find this out.
I scheduled my vehicle for routine oil change and tire rotation. I used the online service to schedule the appointment at 3:30 on a Monday. I arrived 10-15 minutes early. At 4:05, I went to check on the progress. My vehicle had not moved from the drop off. When I asked about my scheduled appointment, I was given a shortage of technicians. My time is valuable to me. The work was completed closer to home.
