I wish I could say a good thing about this store but my recent experience is not isolated. I have frequented this store over the past two years and while doing a complete home renovation.Tried curbside pickup and ended up having to go inside to pick up order. They shorted me on items that were listed as fulfilled and some of the product was damaged.If online it says an item is in stock, its often inaccurate.Staff are unable to locate inventory. Do not plan on being approached by staff and good luck if you are needing assistance.I have heard from Home Depot staff that they are currently short staffed as excuse. Home Depot, pay your employees better, higher competent people. We all know you have the funds to do so.I will happily be driving the extra distance to Lows and Menards.

First off, I will concede that Home Depot is my top home improvement store. I prefer the brands they carry on tools (Milwaukee and Klein). I have never had an issue in the 4 stores in Omaha. However, the Council Bluffs store has continued to disappoint and frustrate me. Example 1. 3 weeks ago, a co-worker and I left a job site from downtown Omaha to get a few miscellaneous parts to finish a job. While paying at the self checkout, we noticed a group of 5 or 6 employees looking out front window. Minutes later we discovered that they were witnessing my bosss truck being broke into. 1230 PM, in a spot towards the front, someone smashed his rear window in his truck and stole 5k of tools and electrical instruments. The lady who claimed to be manager at the time, vowed to do whatever she could for this inconvenience. As Im writing this, I still dont think they have reached out to the owner of truck with any information.Example 2. I was with the same gentleman, on different occasion, checking out in self checkout. We had several of the same item. I believe it was electrical boxes and roughly 30 of them. He looked on top of scanner gun and tried to see if there was a way to change qty. An elderly woman comes storming up to him and scolds him, You dont know how to do that, and youre not supposed to do that! Her tone and attitude definitely made that trip very uncomfortable.Example 3. Earlier tonight I went in at 730-8 PM to get some electrical material. As you can see in the pictures, this proved to be impossible. The four employees that were sitting and standing on and around pallets that were around the corner clearly seen our frustration. Instead of doing anything, they looked at their phones or in the other direction. When we left the store we happened to notice the gfci underneath pro parking. Not exactly weather resistant.All 3 of these incidents happened in last 30 days and have happened in consecutive trips I believe.

Google wants me to review Home Depot. Ok. Its a Home Depot. It smells like lumber which I actually kind of like. It has tools and I use tools sometimes. I needed storage bins and I found storage bins. Overall a great Home Depot experience. Would recommend Home Depot for anyone who likes the smell of lumber, uses tools or needs storage bins.

This is the Best Home Depot around. The day I was here I had a great experience..I easily found everything I needed & the prices arent too bad.The employees were friendly and helpful& the cashier that checked out my stuff went above and beyond,He took the time to fill out a home Depot credit card application for me right at the register and proceeds to tell me that just for me applying he was going to take $25 dollars off. So the stuff I purchased was cheap as heck. He was so friendly and willing to help..I believe his name wasWilliam; a store manager. Thanks William.Their employees put Omaha to shame,gotta go all the way over the bridge to Council Bluffs to get a customer service person to smile at you...Home Depot Rocks💚

This Home Depot always has what I need and I go there allot. Favorite building supply / Hardware store.

Again this was my first of two visits in 2 weeks. I was out by some of the most curious and personally interested in helping me find what I needed. And after that at the register finding out that it was my fault picking out the wrong purchase return to the same people who still cordially made sure I left with the right item this was in the plumbing department they were exceptional

Bought a table saw a few days, found it in the sore for less a few days later. Came in to the store and a girl name Holly made thing very difficult even with a manager standing next her explaining to her what to do.

As always I was looking for a place that had welding supplies. Home depots got them and thank goodness too and the right price. This is Joe Nader signing off and until next time God bless.

Horrible customer service!!! I talked to 4 different people for an online order I made for Fathers day to have it taken up a few steps, they were suppose to call my mom so she could ask again. They never did of course. I was guaranteed by someone because how late it was especially. On top of my order not getting there for Fathers day under their negligence. Never again will I order from here. Everyone I talked to was very unhelpful. So disappointing, I shouldve canceled when I had the chance.

Found what we wanted right away, cashier was very pleasant and helpful.

I love The Home Depot, the store itself. The employees at this store are the worst!! Curbside pickup, after 30 minutes waiting you have to go in. Today while purchasing a riding mower, we had to push the mower from outside the store to the customer service desk. The customer service desk couldnt figure out how to ring the mower up. We were asked how much it was. Being honest I pulled the mower up on THEIR website to show the employee the freaking mower we were buying. About 20 minutes at the customer service desk, and again, we, the customers had to push the mower some more. Picking this thing up tomorrow, cant wait to see what a disaster that is going to be. This store has really gone down hill the last few years. I almost dread going there anymore.

Ordered 4 rugs and 2 were delivered to my home address. 2 weren’t eligible for anything but store delivery almost 2 hours from my home address. When the rugs arrived at the store I couldn’t get to CB so I called and asked them to hold the order an extra week. The sales associate told me it was no problem and that she would note the account. Then on a Sunday Home depo cancelled my order and without apology told me we’re ‘just following our policy in place’ ...The policy in place has no customer satisfaction factored in. Customer service is a large factor in Product satisfaction for me and Home Depo CB is pushing paper not helping people.

Needed a broom for truck. Found this one easily. Plenty of truck parking. Grocery store just across the lot. Killed 2 birds with one shot....

Fast in a out shopping. Great store.

We needed a new stove and home depot had a nice selection on display. They had to order the one we wanted but still only took a few days to get. It was a Samsung convection oven and so far the wife loves itIt had great reviews. They delivered and set in the kitchen so I could easily hook it up and put in position. Delivery guys were great and polite. Thumbs up homedepot

Customer service really sucked today.... Its really starting to become a trend nationwide i travel all over for work and come to home depot at 6 times a month and im really starting to think we need to start going to lowes

The employee in the electrical department seemed to be greatly bothered by us. She knew her stuff and was very knowledgable but again seemed to be really not wanting to be helping us. Two other employees turned around and ignored me when I was trying to find help. The items were a great value, and quality, but the whole customer service ordeal was not a pleasant experience.

Waited for help with lawnmowers for a good 25 minutes not one employee asked me if I needed help.

The workers are so friendly and ask if help is needed as you walk through the door.

Its great for tools but the workers are always on there phone we keep trying find workers but they are usually on there phones

Alright for a big box store.Prices are tipicaly higher than Menards or dedicated lumber store, but better than Ace or True Value.Selection is not as good as Menards, but better than Ace or True Value.

Ever been told that a store has something and when you get there then they dont? Yeah really nice. My business went elsewhere and I spent about 100 dollars somewhere else. Overall experience was horrible. Only thing people understand is taking your business to the competition

I do not recommend shopping at this particular Home Depot store. They don’t price match their own website’s price. The customer service desk called a manager over when I inquired about how to get the online price, the manager said she didn’t honor the online prices, she told me I was not even on the Home Depot website without looking at my phone. I ended up calling the Home Depot customer service and had an employee verify that it was the right item. Online customer Service representative told me to order online and she would do price adjustment. I ordered online for in store pick up and they told the customer service representative they wouldn’t honor that price and canceled the order. I ended up getting it shipped to home with the discount.Shop online or pick a different store nearby. This one is terrible.

Quit selling your falsified warranties if youre not going to honor them!

How do you guys have all different types of pencils but no notepads???? My boyfriend had to go to another completely different store just to get a NOTEPAD Unbelievable.

Clean and organized. But despite there being numerous employees walking around the store, only 1 asked if I needed help. No human cashiers on duty. Only self checkout, which is a BIG drawback for me. Automation replacing people and taking away jobs.

I used to love shopping at Home Depot, but over the past couple of years this store has really gone down the drain. Employees dont really seem to care anymore. Every time I have asked for assistance, it usually takes a while to find somebody and once I do they act like theyre preoccupied and dont have time to help. The cashiers are always super friendly though.

I was in to pickup an online order, I went inside to also purchase a grill and charcoal after throwing our old one away while moving across states. They were out of the grill I wanted but had many other options and I found one I liked regardless. Tons of employees were on the floor working hard, all friendly and helpful. The curbside pickup was superb and I had no issues picking up my other purchase. All around a fantastic visit to home depot.

The machine broke when we paid 1,900$ for a purchase, still havnt got our item or our money back

I never hace issues here. Found exactly what i wanted without calling for help meaning their signs are giant and very clear. Im sure the employees are more than likely to help, they all seem very friendly.Great place, tons of product to where youll more than likely find what youre looking for.

I’m not a fan of this Home Depot strictly due to their no pet policy. We take our dog to Home Depot back home all the time it’s good for her therapy dog training so I was surprised to see that she was t welcome at this one. We won’t be back unless or until this policy changes.

My husband & I went this afternoon mainly to shop for a new commode, but also needed a couple of other things. It was the first place wed been to, to shop for this specific item, & after going through the inventory, we decided to also look elsewhere for more choices. Before leaving the store, though, I did find a very good buy on an extra large pack of Charmin toilet paper, so I picked it up. It was so good, I shouldve gotten two!

Generally, I was going to Menards for my home improvement needs. I was a Home Depot shopper in the past, and decided to hunt down a garden tools I needed. Though they didnt have the item I needed I was able to find a couple items I might pick up in the future.If you want flat cooking grills, Home Depot has them. Long drill bits that might help with your more in-depth drills, they got those. Unfortunately, they did not have larger rentals, such as Pressure Washers and larger equipment along those lines at the Council Bluffs store. Friendly customer service staff did let me know I could get those at the 72nd street store, though.Store was clean, staff did not stop to ask if I had any questions. Could be the social distancing thing. I was able to get some ideas, however was disappointed by the lack of staff to assist.

No one helped me run computer to order some thing from store that store did not have in stock. Bad place in my book .

Had a few hiccups when ordering are carpet and laminate flooring but all was made well by Tammy Jensen she knew exactly what she was doing and was very friendly . Are flooring is beautiful . Both crews that came for install were great! Couldnt be happier.
