This method is so easy for those who do not want to go INTO the store through the isles. Shopping is easy online from your own home. The pick up is super easy and fast. The associate was very pleasant and helpful

They had VERY LIMITED sizing for clothes. My shopping trip took twice as long just trying to find my size. Unbelievable. I also noticed almost all of the shirts here for women are crop top…as if no-one wears regular length shirts anymore. I wont be shopping here at this location anymore.

Employees are educated in customer service. I really appreciate when a company has great customer service.I was originally going to go to walmart, but they did not have a sophisticated phone application, and they did not have the product I was looking for. Targets phone application made it incredibly easy to find the item I was looking for. More than just an aisle letter and number, the application had a map that you could zoom in on to find exactly where your item is located.The school supplies here are high quality and have a large variety.The bullseye section has some quality products that are only $1-$5 each.

We were at Target in Cottage Grove,Mn yesterday and we bought one of the little seedless watermelons. That was sitting around the other fruit. Last night I decided to cut it open and slice it. I took a little bite and it didn’t taste right, but I put it in the refrigerator hoping it would taste better cold. It didn’t,took out today and it was already getting mushy. Very disappointed.

Always find what I need, staff friendly

Poorly staffed. Waited longer than necessary for assistance in the Electronics Department, also had to find a Team Member from another department to assist me.

Worst Target experience ever, just go down the street to Walmart or pick another location. My shopping that should’ve only taken 15 minutes ended up taking an hour. Management was rude in assisting the cashier with my transaction. This caused the line to back up to the other side of the store. The poor girl was the only one working the registers. Aisles are also messy and inventory is extremely limited.

Went on to get my booster shot and the lady was very rude and crabby in the pharmacy.

Sadly no humans work the registers anymore. All self checkout early mornings and late evenings. Best to boycott for human run jobs!

Ease of ordering and convenience for pickup.

Honestly surprised they havent closed because of the competition from Walmart. Always loved going to target as a kid and still do as an adult. Maybe its just me clinging on to old memories but this Target has always been my number one.

The inventory or lack thereof is extremely frustrating at this particular location (Cottage Grove). Out of all of the Targets my family shops at, this location is constantly running out of stock (this includes food items, clothing, personal needs, etc), and fails to update the Target app to reflect what is actually in store. I understand that things get busy, however it is unacceptable to consistently face this problem repeatedly. Cottage Grove is not even a large city, so Im not sure why the staff here consistently fails to maintain proper inventory. The past 5 drive up orders that I have placed, I receive notifications that multiple items are out of stock. As a result of this I have taken my business to the West St. Paul and Woodbury Target locations, and encourage others to do so as well. This issue needs to seriously be addressed and management needs to do better in this area.

Not enough cashiers working. Better off not wasting your time going here and picking a different target.

They don’t carry brown paper bags at all because they are not a “superstore”…Its 2021 there is no reason to have plastic one time use bags.

You do not carry G2 Gatorade. Pricing on shelves not visible.

Store is clean, well stocked, staff is friendly. Was able to find everything we needed for our trip. Bathroom was large & clean. Made a stop at their Starbucks, unfortunately the espresso machine was down but they were still able to serve iced coffee, they made it how I get my usual espresso drink & it tasted good. The girls were very kind, friendly & welcoming. Will be returning to this location I enjoy the layout and how the lights are not as bright as the newly remodeled stores!

Store is dirty. Only family bathroom is even open, and they can’t even keep that one clean. Carts weren’t being wiped off either. I think it’s funny we’re going to be required to wear a mask again soon in the store, but the cleaning doesn’t matter anymore. I hate the layout of this store. Most employees are nice, but don’t expect anyone to come up to you like at other Targets and ask if you need help finding anything. I drive to Woodbury out of my way usually because I can’t stand this Target.

Loved the school list feature on the online platform. Made school shopping so nice, just put in your zip code, choose your kids school and all the items are instantly put in your cart. You can change items if you dont like the ones suggested real easy. Pay online and either pick it up in store or have it shipped to the house. Loved it.

Bad management services. The drive up service is not ran well and the Manger did not care what I had to say about it. I will continue to shop at other targets where they treat customers better makes me sad I spend a lot of money at target to. I understand there is a virus but the manager can at least be a little caring and say sorry for the inconvenience and we will try to fix the problem instead of being rude and ignoring me. Customer service has gone down the drain in retail and its sad.

Good customer service....not pleased with Black & Decker 5 cup coffee maker. Clogged, loud,takes a 1/2 hr to brew.

Kyle at the front of the store was so nice and professional! I think he was a manager... Either way, he assisted the cashier when my gift card promotions were not working. He did an awesome job and listened to my questions and concerns. My husband was a veteran and we had asked about the discount Target was offering this week. He said, we will make sure you get that discount. He also thanked him for his service and that made my husbands day. Excellent service!

You had ONE checkout open, store employees walking around, and a backlog of over 5 customers in the one line... So much for customer support. I spent way too long waiting in line, just to purchase one item. A gift card. Now the poor sap I bought it for will have to wait in line to use it...

I LOVE TARGET!! They nail it every time I go and wonder if they will have it and they do.

Lately during the late afternoon hours and weekends it seems to take about 15-20 minutes for anyone to bring my order out. I understand how busy they can be, but perhaps go back to just having someone there to bring out the orders

I love Target. Staff is friendly and helpful. They tend to run out in the fresh vegetables and fruits section. Also after the remodel, navigating the baby section is difficult because of narrow isles.

I was able to find almost everything I needed while Christmas shopping--and, for clothes, Target had the sizes available I needed. The checkout person was extremely friendly and yet efficient!

This one star rating is for the experience I had on 5/9/2020. I understand were in the midst of a public health crisis, but every other Target store Ive visited in the last few weeks has had some iota of organization and has felt very smooth and sensible. At this location, they just made one enormous line running half the length of the store to check out, at which there was one(!) cashier on the register. At noon on a Saturday! Im not sure what was going on with the staffing, but Ive never seen this problem at the Eagan, Inver Grove, Woodbury, Burnsville, Lakeville, Red Wing, Oakdale, Savage, Shakopee, Eden Prairie, or any other Target. Get with the program, management!

Twice in a row I have received horrible customer service. The first time the cashier wouldn’t speak to either of us. Dropped one of our items and it spilled every where. No apology and no offer to get another one. Now this time I use the drive up service and I greet her and there is no response! Then she’s starts talking to me like I was an inconvenience to her!

It was easy to order, pay for and pick up. I highly recommend using this service as it was so easy, and a life saver while running errands with my 22 month old son!

Not as convenient as Walmart (you just pull up) but I like that you dont have a time slot and it was done super fast! Its also held for a day. Would be nice to have something telling me where to go in the store on an email or something. Id never done it before so I didnt have a clue.

Target sells the Litter Genie but does not sell the bag inserts. Anybody who buys that will be very disappointed when they quickly run out of bags. Target will sell them to you online if you can wait one week and want to pay shipping. If you cannot wait one week you can get them in four days and pay for expedited shipping. Long story short do not buy a Litter Genie from Target.

The best cashier ever there is Airen, she’s so friendly and welcoming. She helped resolve all my problems at checkout. She’s one of the best.

So much better than the Hastings store! Its worth the extra drive. They have an open market and a great grocery selection for a non-Super Target.

Targets baby registry is by far the worst of any big box store. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile to Wal-Mart.Target claims no hassle returns on items purchased on the registry, every item we have tried to return we are offered only a merchandise credit, which can only be used in store on in stock items. The amount of the credit is not the full price of the purchase either. Multiple items purchased on the registry were lost through Targets electronic system so we were complete unable to return without a receipt....When an item is purchased for the registry the employee tells you no gift receipt is needed because Target tracks it all electronically.When these issues are brought up, the managers just dismiss you and basically tell you too bad, take it or leave it.We are done shopping at Target for anything.

I purchased Pokémon cards for myself and my kids. Upon opening the blister pack, I found that all three boosters were open **and only had 9 cards each**.I fully expected to walk in today and they’d sympathize with the situation, maybe offer up an explanation as to how this could happen, but NOPE! Instead, the lady tells me to go grab another pack, to which I did, and upon returning she says, “were these ones open?” I said, “no”, she says, “well then I don’t see how the other ones could’ve already been open!”.Seriously? It’s a $12.99 pack of cards at a big box store. Literal pocket change was spent on this! Perhaps, had I shaved and dressed up some the retail worker would’ve been less of a *****, but that’s not my prerogative.Target, you can give your store a facelift, but with employees like her, you’ll always be playing catch-up with Amazon.

The ease of shopping and checkout and variety of healthier brands available. Most purchases are cheaper than other stores after cartwheel deals and red card discount.

Friendly staff that will help you through out your experience. The store is lightly stocked with most items to get you through not a full grocery store.

Came here for a bar cart. The employees were very helpful and were able to locate exactly what i was looking for. Got in and out without a problem

Had what I need. Fast in and out.

I found everything I came for, from a load of bread to a compression bandage to a set of bed sheets. Store was in generally good condition. Womens bathroom was clean. The check out was very slow.

I rarely go to this Target, and after having my window smashed and car broken into I will be very hesitant to go back. I realize that had nothing to do with the actual store, inside the lady at the self check out was very nice. We will see how they handle this whole situation.
