This place was fantastic. Ive been to train stores all over the west coast and Las Vegas and this is hands down the best in SoCal if youre looking for N Scale, HO and hard to find kits.Service was awesome. They let me dig around in stacks of N Scale rolling stock and they were far more friendly than most MRR shop owners. I will be going back down there every time Im in the area.

Shop owner was engaged for 20 minutes with a friend about racing cars. Could not get a word in edgewise. Attempted to purchase some parts and a magazine. Patiently waited from 4:29 to 4:53. Then walked out empty handed.He was aware of my presence but seemed unconcerned. Weird vibe in store. Not train enthusiast Seemed bothered when I asked for help on a pinion gear. Never again.

I have been going to this awesome store for at least 30 years! It changed hands 20 years ago and is STILL going strong! How does a small hobby shop stay in business competing with the internet? It is with AWESOME service, products and friendly, knowledgeable staff! The Train Crossing is a family business and the owners all take pride in carrying on the family tradition. This is my go to place for scratch building supplies and tools. If they dont have something in stock, they WILL get it for you. They have a dizzying array of trains, rolling stock and model landscaping supplies. Check em out!

Dont go anywhere else for model railroad and lionel Trains... NO ONE in Orange county Ca. Is better to deal with.
