Jeff is great. Very knowledgeable. I asked him to replace the battery in my laptop because it wouldnt charge fully. He told me to run the battery down to almost zero and then plug back in. Voila! Battery now fully charged. Save me the cost of a repair, and kept me a happy customer.Thanks again Jeff.

My W10 OS totally collapsed at the most inconvenient time. While I know a thing or two about computers, I did not have the hardware to connect a laptop HDD to another computer to back it up. Jeff took my laptop in and was able to back up everything in the HDD after removing it from the wounded machine, and for a very reasonable cost since I had over 400gig of documents in there... less than 24 hours later, I was back in business with a fresh OS from my W10 pro disc. This is the second time I had a problem with my Dell, and Jeff was able to resolve it quite promptly. Jeff is the best IT guy around, trust his good work.

This guy (Jeff) does real repairs - he can fix a bad circuit board with his microscope and soldering equipment instead of just throwing the bad board away and selling you a new one.Skilled people like Jeff are becoming ever more rare, so do yourself a favor and go there, and do the country a favor and keep skilled small businesses alive.

I came to JM-Info Techs to have them take a look at my older Toshiba Laptop that would not turn on. I tried a few things at home and had no luck. I checked google and also a neighbor had recommended JM-Info techs as well. I called and immediately he was very kind and patient with my questions. I decided I would take it in and see what the deal was. I came in and he immediately checked the power cord with a multimeter and low and behold the cord was the problem!!! It wasn’t holding the correct voltage so the charge was all over the place. He had a replacement in stock and tried it out and what do you know! Presto. It worked!! Powered on as normal. He didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need and was completely honest and upfront. He charged me for the cord only and I was on my way in no time. Less than 10 minutes. I am so relieved that the issue was a simple fix and not something astronomical. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here if your having any sort of computer issue!

My Macbook Pro 15 inch Retina (2013) had a broken display (cracked screen + glitching) after taking a fall. At first I was looking for an Apple-centric repair shop, but I decided to give Jeff a try since he was nearby. He got me a price and ordered a display assembly within a few hours. I was worried about leaving my data in a repair shop for several days, so I returned at the end of the day, and Jeff pulled the drive for me and placed it in an anti-static bag. His shop is in the safest part of Costa Mesa, so this wasnt really necessary, but it gave me peace of mind. 4 days later, I got a call that the parts were in on Saturday. Unfortunately my ringer was off, so I didnt see it until 10 minutes before he closed at 2:00 until Monday. I rushed there, and although he was working on another customers repair, he stayed 30 minutes after closing so that I could get my Macbook back 2 days earlier. After all the trouble I gave him, he barely charged me for labor. And with the assembly also costing only $240, I definitely got off easy, and I probably would have paid twice as much for Apple to do it and with a longer turn-around time. As for the screen, it looks brand new and has no bad pixels that I can see. If anything else breaks, I will definitely be taking it to JM-InfoTechs.

Ive been going to Jeff M, JM-InfoTechs, for a little over a year now. Ive been very happy with all sorts of problems Ive had during the time Ive been going to Jeff. Ive had a Dell Inspiron 3847 with 1 TB hard drive and 8 GB of memory. Then I had talked to Jeff regarding buying a new computer with 16 GB or greater memory, as at times, the computer appears to be lagging and slow. However, Jeff had suggested an upgrade of Hard Drive to a Solid State Drove. SSD, and see if I want to upgrade the memory if Im not too happy. Anyway, I did what Jeff had suggested and Im very happy as I had not spend a lot for the upgrade. Thank you Jeff.
