I am in the market for a Porsche and found a listing for a car that fit what I was looking for. Unfortunately its 1800 miles away. I contacted Morgan via email and he promptly replied ready to answer any questions. I am very particular in what I expect in a vehicle and Morgan was more than accommodating in fulfilling all my requests. He sent numerous pictures and showed all the details as if I was in person. He even video called with me to do a walk around and pointed out every flaw inside and outside the vehicle. He also went on a test drive with me aboard on the phone. Morgan is not a salesman, hes a car guy helping buyers find the right car. Nothing was hidden or left for me to find on my own. Other salesman get annoyed at spending the time for a customer to really pick apart a used car, not him. The most amazing part, I told him I was going to pass on the car. He didnt get upset or become rude. The next day he messaged me updates on the reconditioning of some flaws and shared with me upcoming inventory. Im almost certain that the car that I end up purchasing will be from Nuvo and Morgan.

I reviewed Nuvo, and Morgan on Yelp already, but I want to take the opportunity to post another review now that I’ve had the car for a few weeks because frankly, it just gets better!Last month I came across Morgan’s ad for a ‘99 Porsche 996 coupe a few days after I had sold my ‘00 996 cabriolet. I wasn’t sure I wanted to jump right back into another 996, but after talking on the phone with Morgan I just knew in my gut he was someone I could trust. I hung up the phone, changed my plans for the day, and headed 75 miles south of where I was to get to Costa Mesa and see the first year 996 coupe in person before someone else had the chance.Within minutes of arriving at his shop, I was on a test drive in a 22 year old time capsule. The car was solid, well sorted out, and I just knew Morgan acquired this car for good reasons. And as I said before I sensed that I could trust the guy. When I finished the drive I paid him on the spot.A few days later when I came back to pick it up, as I was driving off the sunroof malfunctioned. Of course Morgan stepped up and had it fixed for me within a few days. Whether I keep it for a few years, or I decide I want to get into something else sooner, Morgan will be the first person I call.

Yul and Morgan WERE AWESOME! I had been looking for a very specific build/specd exotic at the right price point for the last two years. Because Nuvo primarily does consignment deals, the price points are often lower than other dealerships. This means you have to act fast and communicate clearly your intent if you want to get the car you are in the market for!I was a little nervous at first given I was buying this car online without seeing it in person, but Yul made the process very seamless and comfortable, sending everything I needed for diligence over text. At no point did I feel like I was being oversold. The first time I saw the car in person was when I flew in from Northern California to pick it up! Spoiler alert, as if the 5 stars hadnt already given it away, I am delighted with my experiences with all of the team over at Nuvo.Over the last 6 months I have bought and sold a car through Nuvo.The first being a purchase. I had been researching and looking for my new car for months and found Nuvo through the many internet searches I had going. They had one of only two cars in the country that I could find in the color/spec that I liked. The problem, I lived 2500 miles away on the complete opposite side of the country and the pandemic removed any possibility of flying out.The thought of buying a car without actually seeing it first was incredibly stressful but Yul and his team went out of their way to engage directly with me, take extensive pictures and videos and over communicated ever step of the way. When the truck arrived and the car was carefully backed off it was everything and more that was promised. It was simply stunning and I was grinning from ear to ear.Even beyond the car being delivered the communications continued ensuring I was completely satisfied and answering every question I had and quickly resolving one minor issue with a speaker.I know it is a cliche to talk about finding people you can trust in the car industry but Nuvos philosophy and culture is to be that trusted partner for your automotive dreams. Cars are complicated beasts, they go wrong sometimes, you need to work with people who will be there for you through all the good and on the rare occasion something needs to be resolved. I found a vehicle online that Nuvo was selling and was a little skeptical due to the fact that this place is not your average dealership. I checked the reviews and it seemed to be a reputable business. I quickly learned this place was anything but and lacked common professionalism. i made an appointment to view one of the vehicles they had in stock. The business is kind of hard to find as they share their business with a construction company. When i arrived there was nobody there for Nuvo. The receptionists had to call someone to come in for my appointment. It was later in the evening and i was able to see the vehicle and let the gentleman know i was interested and requested a final quote so i could fund through my personal bank. This was all done Tuesday Feb 23rd. On Thurs the 25th i reached out and let them know i was interested and had everything squared away with my bank and received no reply back. Friday the 26th i spoke with Yul and was told the car was still available and i told him i had already seen the vehicle and secured funds to purchase and just wanted to do a test drive. i asked if they were available on Sunday and he said they were closed even though their hours online state theyre open on Sundays. I reached out on the 27th to schedule a test drive for Monday and never heard anything from the business. Yul finally called me back on Monday and advised me that the vehicle was sold to someone else on Saturday... Communication with this business was terrible and they clearly had no intentions on selling me this vehicle. I had a completely different experience from all these other reviews... im not sure if its because i dont look like their usual clientele but i was extremely disappointed with my experience. I ended up buying my Porsche at the dealership.

By buying experience with Nuvo Trade was excellent. It was a very low pressure sales process, and I took my time during the process. Because I was purchasing remotely, I was encouraged to do a Pre-purchase inspection. I did one, with no issues. All information was provided in a timely manner. Overall, I would highly recommend Nuvo Trade as such.

In the age of mechanization and automation, most dealerships too, have turned into car selling factories. The car buying experience as we know it fades into the past, hurried along by car sharing, cheap leases, Uber, Lyft, and the rest.Alas, there is always an exception. Nuvo is one of those exceptions. Like those turning back to vinyl records, or refuse to give up driving with three pedals, Nuvo too refuses to get swept into the plastic churn of the tides.Having purchased my 911 from him, I can attest that this was more of a personal experience than a transaction. Every step of the process as if dealing with a close friend. Hes honest, transparent, and easy to work with every step of the way. I bought my 911 from him and shipped it all the way to Chicago, and this was the best car purchasing experience of my life. Thats saying something for dealing across the country.As for the car, Yul surgically selects only the very best cars around. His inventory is the rarest, cream of the crop condition cars. He would never sell something he himself wouldnt drive for a lifetime. Nuvo is almost a collector exclusive destination.There are so many shady, small volume exotic dealers that think they know cars because their lot has vehicles with the right badges on them, but they come riddled with poor maintenance and ownership histories. Dont insult Nuvo by conflating it with one of these places.The owner Yul, is a true enthusiast and a collector first, followed by anything else. Take my word for it: if you have the chance to buy a car from him, do it. You will not be mistaken.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! I recently purchased a very rare and beautiful BMW 5-Series that had sort of been a bucket list car for me and when I saw the listing for this particular car for sale, I inquired about it’s availability and received a reply back almost instantly.
