Correcting my previous review!! While a little bumpy start in the process of looking at a used car I was hesitant to continue to move forward. However, the Cortland team reached out to understand my concerns. With a lengthy list of items, I wanted to discuss ranging from Trade in, Used Vehicle condition and payments we both openly communicated each topic on by one. Working with the Sales Manager Justin he addressed each of my concerns and then some. Justin and the team worked very hard to win my business and make me feel welcome and comfortable with my new investment. Devon wrapped at all up at the end with a very speedy delivery of a use Jeep Cherokee that (after understanding my concerns) is LIKE NEW! This Jeep is so clean its like I’m the first to ever drive it.Great Work done by EVERYONE at Cortland! Its this kind of teamwork that keeps me coming back. This is now my 7th vehicle from this group (including Fayetteville Dodge) and this Jeep is by far my favorite!Well done and thank you!
Purchased a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan brand new from them. Love the vehicle, but about a year in, the paint started to bubble on the hood. I called them and was told there was a defect in the paint, and it would be taken care of. Fast forward to today, and after 2 years, to many phone calls to count, 5 trips to Cortland to have them look at it and take pictures, told I would have to go to Fayettville, and then told they dont do it after 6 months of waiting, told they had to email pictures again to Dodge over a month ago, my van is still not fixed. To say the customer service is terrible when it comes to the Service Dept. is the biggest understatement I can make. Will definitely never purchase another vehicle from here, or possibly Dodge again.
TL;DR: I could have not asked for a better experience with Devon. Highly recommend!I recently had the worst experience at a different dealership. I went in already worn out and feeling of distrust. Though Devon made everything comfortable, asked for my opinion and if I had questions throughout the whole process. When declining certain add on options, he respected my choices and was never that “pushy car salesman”. He was more than willing to run a couple of options through their finance department to work on a deal that worked best for my finances and long term goals with the car. He is very personable and willing to help.Something I really liked which is sad to say, I really appreciated the acknowledgment he gave me. Times when women are in any type of auto setting, the sales/service workers will forget it is the woman’s car and default to communicating to the partner. It happens. Devon though spoke directly to me. He understood, acknowledged that it was my car being traded, my car being purchased, and my name on the contract. Simplest of things that go a long way in women’s eyes. I can not say that I received it at the last dealership I tried bring my business to. I’m glad though I received it here.Also not to mention Ruby! She was excellent with her communication in providing information on their inventory and setting up an appointment with Devon.

We are returning Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram customers with the 2021 Ram 1500 Classic being the second new vehicle and our first lease. This time we utilized the online service to set up a test drive. We were treated professionally online and in-person by Ruby Robinson. Devon Tuttle helped us understand the leasing, and was professional and courteous throughout the process.
I took my 2018 Jeep in for a yearly inspection. It failed and I was told it needed new rear brakes which would cost me $618 plus tax. I just recently got all new brakes, rotors and calipers at a local place for $583. My Jeep only has 12k miles on it so the fact that it would need new brakes twice in its lifetime is almost statistically impossible.I just told them to fail the inspection and I brought it to 2 different local mechanics Ive known 15 years. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the brakes or rotors. I dont appreciate being lied to and having someone try to take advantage of me.I would have given one star but I gave 2 simply because I have bought 2 Jeeps from here and the sales department who sold them to me were always very nice and helpful. In the future I may buy another Jeep from Cortland Jeep but I will NEVER bring it back for service.

Callum and Justin were great to work with. Was in the market for a very specific truck, and they gave me a fair price.Slight issue with securing financing but to their credit, they followed up with their lender AFTER I signed and bought the truck. They ended up getting me a much better APR, after I had already inked the contract at a higher APR.This is a testament to their integrity and dedication to serving their customers.

Giving one star due to Brandy and her attitude. Everything else was great but she’s snappy and impulsive kinda throws off the whole energy and makes it uncomfortable. Also reading all the other comments and seeing how any negative is flagged and considered slander by the owner should be enough proof of how good their business is.

I went here to purchase my first car and the entire process was seamless. We had visited other car dealerships prior to Cortland and I was not very pleased with the service provided at other dealerships. We could never get straight up answers and communication was not great. Darin was absolutely amazing. He answered all of our questions with detail in a timely matter, was factual, and didn’t play games with us. I would recommend him to anyone and I am so happy we ended up at Cortland! Both my boyfriend and I had a great experience with Laura and Matt at Cortland Chrysler! We both ended up in our dream cars--me a 2019 Wrangler sahara and him a 2021 Ram bighorn 1500 :) My tire tread ended up being super low and uneven on my used car and they replaced all 4 tires, and they even put in a bedliner for free for my boyfriend. The service department (especially Sam) was so kind and even took me to show me all the under parts of my jeep and explain what they were!! They definitely got life customers in us!!!
Horrible place. Do not go through Devon tuttle. Cant recommend NOT going through them enough. Save your Monday and go to another dealership locally, they dont rip you off like this one does.

I came into service last week with my brother and as we both approached service desk we were not greeted by the gentlemen sitting there busy dealing with the phone lines which is understandable but a young slim cheerful lady behind the service desk greeted us and spoke to us until someone was available. I didn’t catch her name but I would like for her to be recognized as it is uncommon to see that type of customer service in this century thank u Cortland Chrysler she made our day
I’ve only had one experience there when I bought my Renegade a few days ago, but the customer service was fantastic. Mike was my salesman and he genuinely seemed like a nice guy. Not at all like the typical car salesman, being overly fake nice and in your face about deals and stuff like that. Like I said, I have no experience with the repair team, other than being introduced to a few people by Mike. Everyone seems great. Definitely try to get Mike though if you’re looking for a car there
Horrible service department. My van sat at this dealer for 5 weeks before they decided to send it to their Syracuse dealer. Once it got to Syracuse dealer it was fixed in three days. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place
This is our second vehicle from this dealer. They handled everything in a very professional manner. We were given great deals and great service. We would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. We will be doing so again when it is time.It is incredible how easy technology has made the purchasing process. A while back I wrote a long, unhappy review about this dealer, which was completely ignored. In talking with a friend, I have discovered she is getting the wool pulled over her eyes just like they tried to do with me. Not everyone comes from a car family and is familiar with the different aspects of car repair. She also went in for warranty repairs and not only did they not have any parts, the one thing they did fix, isnt. Her windshield washer hose continues to pop off when she uses it, to top it off, the washer system is frozen, she has never added anything to it and just recently purchased this from a dealer in Pennsylvania. She is a single parent and works in Cortland so she would prefer to use this dealer for repairs. She has no garage to put it in or anyway to thaw the tank out and put new liquid in. The service counter man told her it was from condensation. Total bullcrap. The cheapest fluid is good to -20 degrees F. Why do these guys seem to continue to take advantage of women assuming they wont know any better? I am having an audio system problem with my Jeep Renegade (which is the third vehicle I have purchased there) and dread the thoughts of going there after what happened the last time. And I purchased the bumper-to-bumper warranty. I cant be driving all over the countryside and working 40 hours a week either. So, just what is Cortland Chrysler going to do about this. The older gentleman that used to be there a couple of years ago was great. Id give no stars if it would let me. Just checking some other reviews, alot of service department issues, I left mine, with an appointment, at 7:30 am came back at 4:30 pm (they knew I would be coming then) just to see it racing into the garage at top speed.
Ive bought many cars from several different dealerships over my lifetime but this out-shined them all. Everyone was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and work together. They did ALL the paperwork in such a timely matter that after driving my old car in that morning I was able to drive off with my new car that afternoon. After the purchase was finalized, my salesman (Matt) proceeded to introduce me to the people in the service, parts and billing departments. Darin was able to pull off the payment I was shooting for and got me extended warranties while doing it. My sister has used this dealership for years after buying her Jeep Liberty there and has always thought them great. Now I know why.
Treatment was horrible, and gave a beyond low ball offer for my vehicleEdit: My jeep has had ZERO accidents and i have a impeccable Carfax to prove that, just another lie from Cortland Jeep. Fun fact when you trade in your vehicle with them they dont even look it over they drive it in a circle around their lot. Then they check the dealers auction to see how much your car sold for then they offer you less money than that. Its a shady tatic. Heed my warnings these guys are boarder line criminal,and will use any shady tactic to rip you off
I wasnt able to buy but Vic in sales was helpful. We checked a used caravan to see if 2 rear facing baby seats would fit in middle row. Unfortunately its tight and leaves no way for others to to get into 3rd row. Bummer because the current Grand Caravan is much nicer than other minivans on the market
My Avenger Dreams, Not the super-hero team but the CAR : )Its not everyday you can lay your head down at the end of the long day and say to yourself while falling to sleep, Someone bent over backwards to make my dream come true today....but that is totally what happened for me at Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram! I walked in with high hopes and left there feeling pampered, well taken care of and pleased. Realistically....I didnt think what I was attempting was possible. I wanted....no dreamed of owning a 2014 Dodge Avenger! But the kicker was I had equal desire for a very low car payment with no money down and a super crappy, old trade-in! It wasnt looking very promising....But Chris, Darin... everyone... worked their magic and before I knew it is I was driving away in my Dream Car!!!!!!!!! The best part of the whole thing is....my payment is actually without a doubt unbelievable!!! It is something I can totally afford and not have to feed my family of 4 ( plus 1 dog, 1 cat and 3 fish) hot dogs and Kraft mac-n-cheese for life! I am and will always be amazed that this worked out for me!!! So if you need to get a new car and you are thinking that it is not gonna be possible....go the Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and you may have your car dreams come true just like me! : )
Im an old guy, so I have purchased several vehicles over the years from several different dealerships. Cortland Chrysler is by far the best Ive ever dealt with. LOW pressure sales department--the opposite of the circling sharks you will find in Syracuse. The service department is the most efficient and friendliest Ive ever experienced. Sorry it took me so many years to find these guys!

Bought my first Jeep in 2008 with CCDJ. The service team did 99% of the maintenance on it for the 8 years that I owned it, 2008 to 20016. I traded the 2008 in for a 2017 model, an upgrade. I pledge to continue to work with them until they get rid of me.The service team is second to none. Dan and Ron have been so helpful to me over the years, I cannot express how much it means to me to be able to work with these guys so easily.Everyone at Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep is a family. And they all treat you as if you are a part of it.

Well I have never until today been so annoyed with Cortland Chrysler. My a/c on my 2019 Jeep will not work and I tried 3 times to get to talk to someone.only music not even an option to leave a message. So I called back again and talked to a young lady who was very very very rude she informed me that it was lunch time for Erin and someone else was on the phone and another person was out. It wasn’t that everyone was busy or whatever it was the way she spoke to me. I have never had this experience before there. Terrible customer service.
Charging for parts and labor and not actually replacing parts. Went in for swaybar link knockin and heater not working in rear . Was ok for less than an hour so today I did a break job and inspected the links oh suprise never replaced. Thank for not calling back after I called too tell service something wasnt right .
Bought a Jeep Wrangler off them. a week later it has a parasitic draw take it in for service they tell me nothings wrong 90 minutes after picking it up is dead in my driveway I will never go back

Cannot say enough about the service center. I was visiting family in a nearby town, when I went to unlock my jeep outside a hotel at 7:45 am and set off the alarm. I was using the key as the fob was not working. I decided to make a trip to the local dealer. It was a Saturday morning. They tested the remote and said it was good. Within minutes they had the jeep in their garage and reprogrammed the remote to the vehicle. They brought me my keys and said I am all set. Not only did they help me in a pinch, they refused to charge me. Who does that these days?
I came into the shop with a limited budget and specific vehicle requests. Ken and his sales team treated me with dignity and like family as soon as I walked through the door. They presented me with several options and displayed a great deal of patience when I needed time to think about it. In the end I chose leasing a brand new car - yes, me in a brand new car. The payment fit my budget perfectly and I walked out of there feeling like I got a good deal. It seemed to me that the Sales team focused more on the quality of a sale rather than their quantity of sales - which made the experience more personal to me. They just earned a recurring customer.
Service department is a joke. Took my new truck there 4 times for exhaust issues, their technician put on the wrong sensor. Same check engine light came on the very next day. Contacted them immediately but they wouldnt get me in until a week after. They never have parts in stock so I have to always come back because they also never have any loaners. One Saturday morning while I was in the waiting room there were not enough seats and they didnt even have coffee out. Another time one of their guys gave me my keys and left without telling me where my truck was. Had to wonder around in the parking lot. Very disappointed in the customer care this dealership provides. Would use someone else in an instant if they were closer or if I didnt have 4 years left on my warranty.
Got a new truck in August. Had to trade our car in as it was in bad shape. They got me into a beautiful dodge challenger. JP was great to work with both times.
Im glad lots of people had a good experience here, but I didnt. My sales guy was nice, but all he cared about was making a deal. I said I couldnt afford the monthly payment, he said let me go talk to such and such. Leaves for a minute and comes back with the same price. Said they had lots of interests on the vehicle so I better decide ASAP. Its been months and not only is that car still on the lot, but he just texted me the other day wanting to help me. Wish they wouldnt have kept my number. Im glad I didnt fall for buying the jeep I really didnt want because he wouldnt let me explore other options based on my price specifications. I got a renegade from another dealer and love my car. They actually worked hard to get me the best price for the car I wanted.
I take my Jeep in to get a sort of undercarriage inspection after it was noticed there were holes from corrosion. I was told some other parts were going bad but they could give me a price list and fix another time. After 6 hours go by I find out I HAVE to pay $168(Which I dobt have) for some part or they cant put it vack together. So in other words; I drove a perfectly fine running Jeep in and now the wheels are removed and its being held ransom for the $168. Not even a loaner even though it went in for something under a manufacturer warranty. Unsatisfactory*UPDATE* I did receive a phone call the following day on Sat and he sounded as if we would figure something out and he would call me on Monday. Well, its 4pm on Monday and as expected no call. I even attempted to reach the gentleman at 3pm, but he was in a conference call and he would return my call. NO CALL
Wife and I came in to dealership a few weeks ago talk about trading her 2017 Jeep wrangler in for a new one..Did have what she was looking for..Was told they would check other dealerships to get what she wants.Told us they would call her on Monday to let her know what they found..Never got a call.To this day havent gotten a call..Their customer service is horrible. Brought her 2017 Jeep in for service never fixed what needed. At time had under 20 thousand miles and was told not covered under warranty...Never again...
Had a very easy experience with Mason. This is my first non-GM truck Ive ever owned. Mason was patient and answered numerous questions. I told him what I wanted for my trade in and what I wanted in a new truck and it took about 10 minutes to make a sale. Very professional and easy to work with, Ill be talking with Mason on my next purchase!

It never stops to amaze me the great service I receive at Cortland Jeep. Ron and Mike go above and beyond taking care of my Jeep. They know I live almost an hour away and always work around my schedule to get me in. My next new Jeep will definitely be bought from them.

I went there to inquire about a new vehicle and what would they give me for my trade-in. Just to be honest, I did mention that I would compare prices with other dealers and go with the best deal. Once that happened, the sales guy lost interest in the conversation as if he knew that other dealers offer better prices. I was told to come back when I have the prices from other dealers. Well, that is not gonna happen after such experience and they just lost a potential customer. The sales guy needs to work on his attitude.

Laura Morehouse was my sales person. She did a great job answering all of my questions and making sure I was comfortable with my decision. I appreciated the no pressure sales pitch...which is what made me return for a second look at a Jeep.
Terrible experience. They had my car for 48 hours without a call. I then called and asked for a phone call if it was going to be another day. The next day I show up at 530, not knowing that they already closed. Once again, no phone call! At that point I was very agitated. I ended up going inside the sales floor and asked for my keys to get it out of there if they werent going to do anything. Mind you my wife took days off for work and its the only car that can carry my wife and kids. The only positive point of this was when a kind, Mr Shaffer called the service manager and they gave me a loaner. Said he would work close wit him on this. So, finally they called me the next day saying itll be there for the weekend. Monday they call and the bill was 3500. N. I ended up going up there to see the invoice and asked for 24 hours to figure out what to do. The next day I went to work but fell very ill, fell asleep tIll my wife got home. Wake up to 3 voicemails with them threatening to bring back the car or they were going to charge me and they were gonna stick my engine back together and bill me for it.They had my car for a week with no calls, nothing. Then, they want to threaten me when I asked for 24 hours. I just had them put the engine parts in my trunk and I got it towed out of there. Got it fixed for almost half the price. I feel like because I complained, the service manager tried to jack the price up. Never will I go there, or buy a car there.Thank you Mr. Shaffer for the help, that was really good customer service. Yu could show the service department a thing or two.....
My boyfriend of 11 years returned home on Friday afternoon I had never seen him as excited as he was that day he expressed that he was introduced and trained on a new invention application called Moxi we are super excited to start using this application it saves us so much time and we can do it on our own convenience every dealership should have this option what a life changer we love thank u cortland Chrysler service desk men are all helpful and patient and the young lady who trained my boyfriend is sophisticated thanks for being patient with him also we love cortland Chrysler Moxi fans

I came in after a car accident that totaled my car. I specifically said, I just moved back to NY this last summer and worked sales at a motorcycle dealership. Please do not use the sales process on me.Wasnt sure if I wanted new or used. Was my first day browsing, still up in the air. Showed me -one- pre-owned Jeep when I stated I was more interested in pick ups. Was more interested in getting contact information. Would not discuss price - insisted that I give him a monthly payment I wanted then ran off to his manager to haggle price and tell me we can do that and rushed to try to get me to do a credit application.Mind you, I told him Id be looking to do cash or finance, wasnt sure yet. I had the means to pay cash for a new truck and wasnt looking to finance ultimately. I was an angry little chick in pain, with a totalled car and a wealthy family that wanted to see me get a new truck over used anyway.Anyway, he ended it with call me when you do the online credit app and didnt contact me for almost 2 weeks.Needless to say I bought a truck elsewhere 2 days later. Your sales process sucked. Your attitude sucked. Just because Im a stereotypically blonde female doesnt mean you should crap on me. Happened to be a very successful sales manager before moving back up here, and I know the game! You could have easily sold me a 2016 pickup. Not emailed me 2 weeks later to check up on me - I TOLD YOU I was buying in the next few days!!!That was insane.
