Called them regarding a strange noise I was hearing from my car… they took me in the next morning and looked over my car totally free! He even lubricated some components at no cost. Friendly environment, cool guy at the front desk.

The crew at Jax was so professional and courteous in helping me out when my car’s cooling fan broke, leaving me stranded, as I was traveling from out of town. They were able to get me in without an appointment and troubleshoot the issue. I am very pleased with their services. Thank you!!!

I would give them zero stars if I could. They did the wrong work on my car. Admitted it too. They still wanted to charge me. They used zip ties to hold the bottom of my car together because they messed it up so badly. My car ended up dying in an intersection after seeing them. None of the issues I brought the car in for were resolved and it was worse than when I dropped it off. They threatened me with calling the police if I didn’t pay them. My car needed an additional $4000 worth of work after. It was a nightmare. I could have been killed. I would not recommend them under any circumstances. They are dishonest and incompetent.

I dont usually write reviews, actually I never do. My girlfriend had her catalytic converter replaced recently, and the treatment she received at Jaxs is worthy of my praise and time to write this. I live out of town so Connie was left with the unenviable task of getting her 2010 KIA Sedona fixed without my help. The van needed a catalytic converter, which unfortunately is very expensive part. She took it to a few places in Syracuse and the prices and treatment she was receiving was less than stellar. She then took the van to Jaxs. They quoted a very fair price for the part, and not only that, made every effort to locate her a part that would have been alot less expensive. Even though the where unable to find the elusive after market part and had to go with one from the dealership, the fact that they would go the extra mile speaks volumes. They installed the part at a extremely fair price for labor. I want to thank everyone at Jaxs for the quality work, their professionalism, and treating my girlfriend with respect and not tyring to take advantage of someone. In this day and age, those are very rare qualities, and I wanted to take the time to pass on the very high praise your service center has earned. Thank you very much!!!

Highly recommend! My family and I were stranded in Cortland for the night after having some car issues while passing through on our way home from a trip. We did a quick Google search for local mechanics while standing on the side of the highway waiting for the tow truck and decided to call Jax based on their ratings. We are so thankful we did! They had our car ready to go quickly the next day. We were definitely nervous about getting taken for a ride on price due to our desperate situation but pricing was definitely honest and fair, and we are so appreciative of that. Thank you to Angel and the rest of the team for all of your help and getting us on the road back home so quickly!

I dont recommend these people they overcharge on parts and labor they changed me $84 for one gas tank strap and additional $80 for labor its literally one bolt thats over charging at its finest !!!!! DONT GO !!!!!!
