I just love this place... Not to many places to shop for clothes here in Cortez so this place is wonderful with their sales and coupons.. Staff is oh so helpful to.. Home away from home.

My grandson had his heart set on a pair of Nikes, but I didnt want to spend $60 plus on shoes hed grow out of in a few months. Michael looked and looked for us, found the perfect pair of Nikes, on sale! Thanks, Michael!

The older lady at the check out was very rude. She didnt give me my reciept and her customer service skills are horrible. Personally I would never staff someone so rude to be in customer service. Worst shopping experience ever.

Staff was very helpful finding running shoes to satisfy a picky child. Also very knowledgeable, knew she had a certain style we liked online in her store so we didnt have to order them.

They open to late...people like to shop early they should open at 8am.

Bealls is a wonderful department store that has clothes and variety of other items for all the family at great prices in fact this week and having a 40% off clearance as well as online discounts it truly is a great place to buy clothes items are well-made they stay together and hold their coloring.

Im a Portland, OR resident & I found the selection great with a nice cosmetics section and perfumes/colognes like eternity etc. But the cashier ladies were busy gabbing with other customers (annoying) so didnt notice me when I was waiting with a question.

So far so goodNot much of a choice on little boys clothing bt mayb. Next time.

Nobody at this store, at least while I was there, is even remotely interested in customer service. As a male shopping for clothes for my better half, it goes without saying that I wanted some help tracking some items down. I even intentionally looked extra lost in the womens area to try and get somebody to help me and still, no one so much as greeted me. I was in there for 30 minutes looking for certain apparel items and not so much as one employee greeted me, or even acknowledged me through eye contact. There was one male employee in particular that was folding clothes on top of a register right by the womens section that made it painfully obvious, by not so much as even lifting his head to look at me as I wandered around him, that he had no interest in helping me find what I was looking for. Ive worked in retail and sales for over 5 years, and when I visited this store, I saw a PERFECT example of what to NEVER behave like in my own work. The only way this store has possibly survived is because its the only other clothing/shoe store in Cortez besides Walmart. Im all for supporting local business, but after this I guess Im just going to have to go to Durango whenever I want clothes. Since apparently there are no actual professionals here that care about excellent customer service.

Bad customer service, Extremely rude, no class, sales ladies. They looked at you like what is she wearing. over heard them talking about other costumers that were in the store earlier. I would just imagine what they said about me after I left. I like bealls but not this store.

Theyve got a bit of everything you may need from name brand clothing to perfumes and colognes. Along with name brand saddles, shoes and boots.
