As we were leaving, I stopped to tell the staff, I dont know how yall did it, but *everything* we ordered was incredible. The coffee drinks, the breakfast toast (avocado for me, caprese for her) -- everything was so dang good -- made to order and must have had some sort of extra magic to make it unreal. The atmosphere here is something much needed in our city too -- comfy yet modern, and completely unlike those other coffee chains that are carbon copies of each other.Please check out Coral Bean. I cant imagine your being anything other than impressed and satisfied.

Hands down the BEST coffee in Corpus Christi!!First day here and it won’t be my last!I ordered a egg, chorizo, and Gouda taco. Let’s just say they did not disappoint. This was probably the best chorizo I had in awhile. The spice and seasoning of the chorizo was on point, not too salty and I like how they did not scramble it into the egg. So the taco had a nice balance to it.I completely forgot what drink he made for me, but it was the best coffee I had ever tasted. It was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness without blocking the natural flavor of their coffee.Forget Starbucks and Bien Merite, Coral Bean Cafe is the place to go for amazing coffee, great tacos, and delicious pastries and toast!!The best part about it, are the prices!The owners/baristas are super friendly, which is always a plus!I’m excited to explore more of their menu!

Their product is absolutely amazing. True to their word on the radio ads about quality -- went there and had the matcha latte and it was delicious. My biggest complaint is the environment and the service. Im 100% for supporting local, but you feel totally unwelcome there. They dont greet you as you walk in, they arent friendly at the register (they give a what do you want kind of attitude), they dont say thank you after ordering or getting your drink. I say thank you in a peppy manner to coax them, but only get silence. I see they spend more time criticizing other businesses tacos that evaluating their business. Its just a very unfriendly/awkward environment to be in. Again, their product is great so if you dont care about customer service, then this place is great. They have such a great product on hand that their environment absolutely kills any want of wanting to return - even my partner didnt want to come back. I came 2 other times to see if my first visit was a fluke. Nope! A very unwelcoming environment the other times. Hopefully they can adjust this because I want to see them grow, but its so hard to go there when it feels like your business isnt wanted.

Amazing place. Came for the coffee, stayed for the vibes. Chill music with some tasty drinks made this the place to be. Coming in on a rainy day made this a perfect date spot with the girlfriend.

I am not from Corpus but I am always looking for good coffee spots. I ordered a hot chai latte and it was magnificent. Im not sure when I will back I town but I will definitely be back to this spot.

Was so excited to go here after hearing the ads, but the person working the counter between 4-5pm really made for a poor introduction. The coffee was great, but the person taking the orders was very patronizing for no reason at all. Wasn’t worth the drive over.

Hands down the best coffee shop Ive gone to!! Went just to try it out and have been going back ever since. I try getting something different each time I go and each time my drink and food tastes amazing!! Customer service is quick and friendly!

The place Its self was so beautiful just it took like 30 to 40 minutes just to make me a coffe and from what i could see there was 3 to 2 people there one person not doing anything and the other doing everything buy i the coffe was pretty good in the end

This was my 3rd visit, and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried here. The first visit it was the nitro cold brew, the 2nd it was the latte with house made vanilla, and today I had the latte with house made caramel. I usually avoid caramel lattes at coffee shops due to how sweet they are, but I’m glad I tried it here as it was buttery and delicious, and I could actually taste the caramel! I also had the chorizo, egg, & Gouda cheese taco, and it was amazing. Service was excellent, and both items came quickly.

We walked in for a quick coffee my husband had to get back to work, we ordered a coffee and tea and oh my goodness it’s the best tasting coffee we have ever had. The chorizo taco and raspberry flip were out of this world. These guys are the real deal! Stop what your doing Go check them out!!!

Kinda bummed that our experience was sub par. Had high hopes based on the reviews. Service was great. However, don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Wanted a quick coffee and breakfast and it took about 15 minutes for a basic espresso and just about an hour for a couple of breakfast tacos. This was at 9am and they weren’t busy.

Vibe is on point. The best breakfast tacos. Love the chai, everything is on point. Wish I could give this place 10 stars ⭐️

Went to treat myself to a coffee not from Starbucks. The only disappointment here was that they don’t open earlier so I can’t pick their coffee up on the way to work in the morning. Seriously everything here is so much better that Starbucks.

Extremely friendly owners who know what they’re doing when it comes to crafting an AMAZING cup of coffee! Everything is made in the store, they even make their own vanilla and use REAL, yes real Belgian chocolate in their drinks. You can’t find this kind of attention to detail at your local Starbucks. If you’re in the area give this place a try. Their Iced Lavender Matcha Latte, Dirty Chia Latte and White Mocha Latte are bomb! They have a bunch of drinks and food items to choose from so there’s something for everyone. Go check them out you won’t be disappointed. 😁

Excellent place. Owner is a great guy. Need to go to Coral Bean and support this locally owned coffee shop. And Im positive that they will have whatever coffee drink you enjoy.

First, the product and prices are right on. If they run out of coffee, they sell you an Americana at the same price, unlike others who just try selling you a much more expensive drink. Second, the 2 guys I see working most have great costumer service skills, which is getting hard to find these days. And to top it off, they are staying open late as a warming place during the unusual frigid temps., and giving out free hot chocolate. Things like this is why we should all support Ma n Pa bussiness, and avoid greedy corporate chains of any type.

Nice quiet little place, but needs a little renovating to make it more cozy. The hot chocolate wasnt bad, but not my favorite, and the coffee was just ok.

O.M.G. We just stopped by for an afternoon treat and I tried a caramel iced almond milk latte. SO GOOD! Their caramel is house made and the difference is incredible. If you are in Corpus and want coffee made by craftsmen, it’s a must stop. And they do awesome house made teas too. They have such a sweet customer service mentality and it’s clear they love what they do!

Coral bean has an awesome atmosphere where you can study/relax while sipping on your favorite cafe drinks. I ordered the iced matcha green tea latte and it was delicious. I would definitely return and recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a respite in their day or a quiet place to study.

Came upon this place by random adventuring! Atmosphere was chill and beautiful. The barista was shaking a mysterious beverage like a cocktail and found out it was for their Craft-tea specials. Decided to order the Lavender Matcha and the Night Breeze Craft-tea, OMG SO GOOOD! Wonderfully balanced, sweet, and bursting with flavor. So refreshing! The barista was super friendly and the green velvet chairs super comfortable and luxurious. Highly recommend this place!

Best coffee and small eats in town!I ordered a cold brew and a bacon and egg taco..The cold brew was perfect with a balanced acidity and forward toasted cocoa notes.You can definitely tell they know how to brew coffee..The taco was out of this world! They get the bacon from a local specialty meat market and slice it themselves.. the bacon was perfectly crispy and the eggs light and fluffy.. also the tortillas are made from scratch!This is a hidden gem.. if you havent been here.. give it a try you wont regret it AND you are supporting the local community.. its a win win..

Cool coffee shop on the deep south side. Baristas were super helpful and made a great cup of joe. Purchased a 48 hour chocolate chip cookie which was worth every second, so delicious. Will definitely be coming back for more! Go see these guys!

Wow! I haven’t had coffee for approximately 7 years and what a way to be reintroduced into caffeinated beverages. My wife asked to be surprised and they prepared her a pumpkin spice Latte for her. This was the most delightful seasonal coffee I have ever had. We just relocated back to Corpus Christi from Austin and my wife was missing the true barista coffee experience. My wife decided to try Coral Bean Cafe and was not disappointed. Everyone do yourself a favor and skip the big box coffee store and pick yourself up a Coral Bean Coffee seasonal coffee today! Great local cafe! Amazing baristas, delicious variety of food, and beverages! I love all of the toast options! And the tacos are just as delicious, if you love chorizo and egg, you must try the coral bean cafe chorizo and egg with gouda taco!! I love the tea and coffee options, my favorites are the jolly rancher tea, and the lattes!! Wonderful atmosphere, youll leave smiling! I highly recommend!

Just went in for coffee for myself and my friend, and when I say this is the best mocha Ive had in years, Im not kidding. The staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere was very inviting and cool. Definitely a new favorite.

Almost a 40 minute wait for two drinks and three tacos. Unapologetic and rude. I would expect this to be one of many ambitious hip restaurants that go out of business soon enough.

BY FAR best coffee in town. Their food is also to die for. It’s simple but made with love and it taste amazing!

Had the breve latte for the first time from here and WOW. I now stop by at least 4 times a week just to get great coffee from the friendly staff.Best of all you don’t have to wait for 30min in line just for a mediocre coffee. If you stop by here the only thing your waiting for is fresh great feasting coffee!!!

So far it is THE best place in Corpus for coffee. Great coffee! Great atmosphere! And they have a nice list of munchies if you are hungry. :)

Theyve improved. After the transition from Green Light to Coral Bean they went through a rough patch where their espresso was weak and the coffee was even worse. The management seemed oblivious. Now theyre doing better.

This is my favorite Cafe/coffee shop in the coastal bend. The ambiance is on point, perfect for casual conversations with friends, studying, or working. Its quiet, so you arent having to shout over people, and the food and drink selection is fantastic. Also, try the matcha lemonade. Its not on the menu but its delectably refreshing.

Everything is high in quality; food and drinks are a perfect balance between cozy cafe and gourmet eatery. One of a kind drink specialties, good vibes and kind people!
