I finally got to visit Corpus Christi Camera. I rate this place a four just because I have not dealt with them with camera or ordering services yet. Vic was a very friendly sales associate. Victor answered all my questions and than some. Very knowledgeable staff seemed to be working there. They sale new and used photography equipment, Lab services, rentals, education, cleaning & Repair and studio. I will be definitely be going back. They offer more specialized accessories and equipment than your regular electronic chain store. The have a variety of ND filters, polarized filters and UV filters. I would highly recommend this place.

First of all, I cant say how exciting and convenient it is to have a local camera store back in business after so many years without one! The staff at CC Camera is always welcoming and helpful in meeting your needs. If they dont have what you want they are happy to order it. Ive had several photos printed there and the quality of the prints is breathtaking. I highly recommend using their printing services. I recently purchased a vertical battery grip for my Canon 7D MKII and the price was comparable to the big name stores I usually order from. If youre a local photographer, I recommend you check them out and support our only real local camera retailer!

In a world where retail is challenged by online sales, the good retailers step up and provide the service, support and expertise that adds the extra value. Corpus Christi Camera is one of the better retailers where I know I can always be treated as a guest, get help making camera gear purchasing decisions and I know they will be there for me. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I bought a used Rebel Ti3 from them and it has worked like a dream. I love that they will rent lenses! I was able to rent a great zoom for an event and it was really reasonable. They also are very patient and answer all my questions.

Corpus Christi Camera is a great place for all camera and photography needs. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you’re looking to buy lenses but want to try them out first, you can rent one to see if it fits your needs before buying. I have had nothing but great help and experiences with this store.

Great family owned shop. Nice selection in lenses. I was really happy to find cost effective options with backdrops and accessories. I go in every other week just to see whats come in. Shop owner is very personable and his staff is knowledgeable.

This is by far the BEST specialized camera shop in Corpus. The staff there know what they are talking about and are not pushy salespeople.The first time I had a Promaster tripod break within 6 months and they just swapped it out. No questions or anything. The second time I purchased a WANDRD backpack and it was the wrong size. They swapped it out for the bigger one. No questions. (I paid the difference.)Great customer service and I highly recommend if you are a beginner or pro, go see these guys. Thank you!

Sure, you can probably buy a camera online for a little less, but does that come with years of knowlege and experience? This place not only got me the camera I needed for my purpose but made sure I knew how to work it! The ProMaster camera bag is perfect. My gear fits great, plus a little extra room. It is very comfortable to sling over my shoulder or wear as a crossbody. It makes me want to go take some photos! I’m new to photography and these guys have been so helpful. I’ve taken a class there, learned about and purchased some equipment and rented a zoom lens to try. Each experience has been fun and educational.

I took two Nikon DSLR bodies in for cleaning prior to selling; CC Camera did an excellent job on both bodies, completed the work on time, and charged a very reasonable fee. As a pro shooter, Im happy to know there is a great local resource for competent service on my gear - I highly recommend this business to photographers of all levels!

I highly recommend this business for your camera needs, whether it be an actual camera or a lense. They have a big selection to choose from and you can either rent or buy their products. They have good prices for new, used, and rental cameras and lenses and they are very knowledgeable about their products. Thank goodness CC has such a great camera store. I needed a battery for my Nikon D5000 camera and it took me 10 min. to drive over and have a battery in 5 minutes later. Omg......I took a pic to get restored, and was so happy & totally grateful for JKarens help. Although it was short notice they really did a great job.

I called to ask if they could fix a video camera and was told yes. When I arrived they said they couldnt fix it because it was too professional. (The camera is a pro consumer Panasonic DVX-200 which I told them about) I live 45 min. away in a rural area with no video or photography stores. It would have been nice to talk to someone that actually knows about video cameras before making the drive.

They made my trade in process relatively painless. They always take the time to check up on their customers to make sure they are well taken care of. Traded in my Fuji kit and they gave me a relatively fair price for a small store. Always appreciate the local events the store host as well, brings the community together a little better.

Expected to have to go online to buy what I needed. Luckily I went by and the team was very helpful and knowledgeable for what I was looking for. Unfortunately they had more than what I was looking for and I ended up walking out of there with items that I did not even realize I needed. Loved the selection and knowledge and will go back if I need accessories or gear.

If you need film, odds are that they have it. Ive gotten 120 film here and have had it developed through here aswell. They do a good job. Not just a film camera store but great if youre into film photography.

Sharing a personal experience: Advantage of a Local Camera ShopLast September 2017 I bought a portable light stand at amazon, one of the columns broke and needed a spare part, in my attempt to repair it myself, I contacted the manufacturer and asked for that specific part, after less than a day the manufacturer referred me to CORPUS CHRISTI CAMERA, Karen emailed me and told me to bring the broken light stand to the shop and they will replace it since it is still covered by warranty. Kudos CORPUS CHRISTI CAMERA.

I met with Charlie, the owner, and we talked for a good while about what Im looking for in new camera equipment. Currently, Im a wildlife and portrait photographer in Corpus. I was amazed at the selection available at this store. I was looking for the Sony a7III, but Charlie sells them as soon as they come in. I went ahead and put in an order for one.

The owner is very arrogant! Showed interest in a lens, and couple other things,only for the owner to walk off on me as I went to buy it (guess it was lunch time).Started talking to the employees and he was giving me false info on lenses.(yes they do make sigma art wide angles & 30 mm btw).Then started saying, to rent a lens is $30 then owner bust out of the back room & says no its $40, ok? Actually, went in for something they didnt have, after calling gave ot a chance (manfrotto 454 plate).end up trying to give him a free window cleaning estimate and would even take it?Im not desperate i was mearly being friendly, i know he had someone i respect that. Trying to build a relationship with an arrogant reply? No sir Ill take my business else where.
