I HATE visiting THIS STORE!EVERY time I go, they sell EVERYTHING I WANT! When the employees approach me with such courtesy, knowledge and helpfulness, I WISH I WOULD NOT HAVE TO GO TO OTHER STORES to make purchases when not buying tools. Those places are so large that their employees do not even have enough time to look at me. I HATE that THEIR PRICES ARE SO MUCH LOWER than what I paid for them before I started shopping their. I HATE to think of having to use them for my future purchases, because I know Im going to have that same old feeling all over again!

Waited 20 mins in line and another 20 mins for employees to find the tool to remove security attachment on my 2 wrenches. Disappointed!!

I have never gone to Northern Tools and been able to find everything I need, not that they dont carry it, they just dont carry enough stock. and it seems unreasonable. LIke I just went looking for 2 discharge hose adapters. they had 2 female adapters and no male adapters,... they just never seem to have what is actually needed. They need to stock better.

This place has the best products at the best price. I go to this location pretty often, the employees never let me down. Keep up the great work y’all!

This place has gotten better over the years. Lots of name brand power tools and friendly staff. Its been 2 years since I been here.

I had been to the store in San Antonio, Texas several times before. Living 150 miles south of San Antonio going there was not a daily/weekly/monthly trip. When the Store opened in Corpus Christi, Texas it was nice to be able to go more often. The People there have been very helpful and friendly on all of our trips there. It is a Great Store with Very Helpful, Friendly People that go out of their way to help you...

HF would be the best IF they ever got serious about checking people out. Most crowded spot in the store is ALWAYS at checkout. Instead of collecting phone numbers, trying to get people to join their club, helping old people with their smart phones for savings they don’t understand.... just take my money and let me go !

Sierra was very helpful & great customer service. She went above and beyond for me when she was helping me find a item I really needed. Sierra called others store to see if they had the item in stock. She was able to located at a different store. So Sierra had me paid for it here and picked up over there. She made it super easy for me. I really appreciate that from her.

Bought a honda water pump to pump a sinking boat it never pumped, it was defective it was almost 500 dollars went to try and replace it or get a bigger one they wouldnt replace it refund it or anything and they even took the 2 other pumps off the shelf, not that Im ever spending a dime here again . It cost me over 20 k in damages for the bocacatamaran that sunk because I relied on this honda pump from here that was defective from the factory they said once you put gas in it your stuck with it

He was very nice, polite, answered all my questions, and helped me with what I was looking for. The cashiers at the front are very nice and have great customer service. Would definitely visit again!

Always awesome and quality products. The people working here have always been friendly AND knowledgeable. Just tried the same day/next day flat fee delivery for an engine hoist. A little confusing on adding that, but for the discount on getting something that heavy delivered, way worth it if it works out.

This is a top notch tool store. The same high quality merchandise that I can find at my favorite Ace Hardware Store. The difference is that this place has a wider selection of the same high quality brands, like Stihl and Milwaukee. Unfortunately they closed early. So, I didnt get a chance to see the whole store. I hope that they go back to their longer hours soon. I would love to see more of the store, next time.

I went to northern recently to buy a gift for My husband and i wasnt to sure on what to get, when noe saw i was lost he helped me right away. I described the tool to him and he knew right away what i wanted, very fast and friendly service i would recommend this place and noe to all my friends.

Great place. Super helpfull staff

Very disappointed. Bought two Powerhorse generators so I can run together. Bought the warranty but 3 months after it expired told by the Tech the rings are gone and no compression. No issues up until then. I religiously power both up every month to keep in running order. These things are not cheap. Very disappointed.

Pools whats not to like I will say however I think the repair shop relax a little bit I took the Husqvarna chainsaw which they kept for almost 6 months and still never fixed it because they could not find the problem so Im going to have to look up a Husqvarna dealer and travel over 2 hours to go to him there somewhere in San Antonio but other than that I do have to say I enjoy going to Northern Tool

The store is very clean and inviting, the employees are super helpful as well. We were greeted once we walked in and after browsing for a little the employees made sure to check on us and see if we needed anything. Our item that we were looking for was in stock, and they have coupons that get mailed out. So it was definitely a deal. But be sure to do your research, some of the items are the exact same as Harbor Freight but for 3 times the cost. There are other items that are a super deal here though and with the coupon it is even better.

Long waits with lazy employees mostly standing around socializing with each other (yes, could overhear that they were NOT talking about work) -- even picking up an online order took longer than if I had walked the aisles at Harbor Freight or Walmart....Their national HQ also screwed up 2 out of 2 orders ...total SH!@T compared to Harbor Freight. I spend HUNDREDS each month at HrbrFt, and wanted to give Northern a try when I saw 6 or 7 items on-sale for less than Harbor Freight charges, but in return for the WORSE SERVICE, you also get (on MOST items...>90% of items) worse prices. Not worth the time to scrounge through Northerns ads to find the VERY FEW things they have a slightly better price on.

Always find what I need and staff is friendly.

Every time I come in with a $20 off card something happens from not able to use it. Either they drop the price or they put it on sale. Starting to get really annoying.

Visited this location with friends that were purchasing air hoses. While I was window shopping I noticed a special price on a scaffolding. The price was attractive enough that I wanted to purchase on the spot. Although I didnt drive nor was I prepared to take the scaffolding home at that time of purchase, I continued to buy since I was informed I could pay now and pick up later. Eight hours later I returned to the store and presented my receipt to the cashier at front named NOE who reviewed my receipt .He later read out loud what it was and called me Louis despite that I just told him my name LUIS how it is pronounced and not louis, he then proceeded to tell me his policy of when someone pays today that they must pick up today. I thought, thats fine but your staff DID NOT mention that. He then proceeded to point out where it is handwritten on a piece of paper that the previous cashier from the day before wrote will pick up later. NOE was adamant about me knowing his rules and regulations on pay not pick up later meant the same day. I again reiterated that I was not informed but he was not interested in that but repeated that his staff is aware . I said that he should tell his staff to inform customers and not just say pick up later. Again NOE wasnt hearing anything I had to say until I told him Look we can argue about this all day but the fact is no one told me your rule he responded by saying plus if you pay for something and dont pick it up at end of day then we will credit your card for the amount purchased. After shaking my head with the confusion from NOE, i wondered since I didnt pick it up on same day then where is my credit? Its all about the words you choose to use and your presentation. This could have been handled in a more efficient, professional manner but NOE chose to argue with me because he knows his rules better than I do. This was my 2nd visit to your store and doubtful I would return or recommend anyone to this location unless they are ok with Rules of NOE.

After I got home with my stihl chainsaw I put it on choke before starting it only to find that I was flooding it because they had it running already at the store (I didnt know at the time), when I took it back and found out they then couldnt take the spark plug so I simply ask for a refund

This place has racist white employees. I am the last person to complain about color. BUT I went here with my dad today (we are well tanned Mexicans)and roamed the isles for a certain product we could not find. So we asked for assistance, and were told in less than 2min. Was not in stock. We didnt think much of it just that it was very rude. We proceeded to search all tool and autoparts suppliers in search of this product. No one had it in store, we needed to have it shipped. Which was not an option as we needed it that day. ORileys called around for us and said Northern tools had 5 instock. We got there and everyone said they didnt know what we were talking about and they didnt have it. My white twin sister then came in and told everyone the name of the guy she spoke with (he was helping us) and said she hung up with him 5min. Ago and she needs this now. The little Mexican stocker boy ran to get it quickly, and even checked us out and carried it to the car.

Very poor service at the counter, twice.Very, very rude. I was not even acknowledged when it was my turn to pay. No please, no thank you, no smile. I asked for a price on an item and was told, I dont know about those.Yikes. Not worth returning.

Went in to get some replacement pressure washer gun fittings, had everything I needed except the gun to wand fitting. Had to buy 2 additional fittings to make it work, needless to say the associates are very helpful. Store was very clean and organized.

Pretty decent prices for the quality. Just keep in mind that its NOT Home Depot or Lowes, but its better than Harbor Freight.
