For our second visit to the store we arranged a private tasting event and it was superb. Mike, his wife and assistant were super helpful, entertaining and informative. The range of oils and balsamic vinegars is just out of this world, and when you pair that with the added health benefits of olive oils, you cant go wrong. My favorite part was seeing how sparkling water could be transformed with the flavored balsamics - just amazing. Its the perfect family event if you have grown children or teens who are real foodies. Highly recommend.

We were welcomed by Mike, the owner, who gave a phenomenal tasting experience! His products were one of a kind and he gave a beautiful presentation for each item. He even served ice cream after the tasting and topped our bags with bows. He clearly has pride in his work and we will absolutely return next time we visit!

I stopped by this place with my girlfriend earlier this afternoon and was immediately greeted by the store owner. He invited us to try out an incredibly varied selection of olive oils, truffle olive oils, vinaigrettes, paired with bread, Prosecco, and water. All listed above was complimentary for tasting purposes. The storeowner Mike made a couple suggestions for us to try and helped us navigate our way throughout the store. I received 1oil and 1 balsamic vinegar as a gift a year ago and I have never forgotten how wonderful these products are Since then I decided to order some for the holidays one shipment arrived wrong and the owner took care of it ASAP.. I just made my first visit to your oil shop. It was fantastic! The products were very reasonably priced. My son loved the blueberry balsamic vinegars over vanilla ice cream and we got a big jar of sweet garlic for Hubby. What a great shop for Christmas gifts. Love, love, love, Coronado Taste of Oils. I live out of state now but go to Coronado Island at least 5 times year. I gets oils here because theyre the best. The owners Mike and Ruthanne are amazing people. Very knowledgeable with the whole process. I took a group there for a private party friday night and they were so impressed they left with many bottles and alot of knowledge. Literally the best olives and olive oil Ive ever had! My favorite is the garlic stuffed olives and the garlic olive oil! You can also try all the oils before you make your desicion. They also have cooking classes monthly. Also very nice and friendly staff! My go to place for olives and olive oil.
