I’m impressed.I contacted a few patio cover companies, through Yelp, and Southern California Patios were the quickest to respond, quickest to give an accurate quote, and quickest to schedule my project in, even during summer months.Received a quote, same day as my message request.Javier (sales) called me to meet, same day, to get measurements. Then worked with me about pricing. He was professional, reliable, & honest when I talked to him.Javier told me he can get the material dropped off in 2 days and begin work first thing Monday morning. From beginning to end, total 6 days. It probably could’ve been done faster if I had an open schedule.Major shout out to builders, Edgar & Carlos! Young cats work hard! From 8am to 5pm, I can’t pin point a time they put down a tool to take a break. They finished the patio cover, 4 lights, fan, and outlet in 1 day! Wow!I’ll be passing on the word about this company to friends, family, & neighbors

I have gotten an estimate for this other company that took almost 4 mos of waiting and no outcome. To no surprise I had to canceled that other company.After several phone calls, Then came SoCal Patio. Javier gave me the Estimate. The 2 installers (Bray & assistant) did a great job! They finished the patio in 3 days including the ledger installation on the first day with the city inspection in between. They were on time, professional and courteous. I’d recommend them 100%.

Javier gave us an estimate on Tuesday and Edgar and Carlos ( I think) stared the Installation on Friday, returned Saturday and stayed late to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. Really impressed with their work ethic and professionalism. Kept me informed every step of the way and checked with frequently to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. Great work ethic.

COVID delays aside, the team at So. Cal Patios kept in touch and made us aware of any delays. Notifications of material drop off and install dates were timely. The only delay, we encountered, to our original install date was due to rain. This was understandable.On install date, we received a message notifying us that our installer, Bray, was on his way. The message included a photo and brief introduction of Bray.Upon arrival, he asked if I had any questions and got to work right away. Throughout the install, Bray made sure to touch base with me if he had any questions/concerns. In the end, he went over his work and took care of cleaning up and touching up any scuffs.Bray and his assistant were very professional and the type of employees I would like representing my company. The pre installation work was high-tech with computer aided designing your Patio. Then the techs arriving for final measurements and prop demonstration placement of beams, lights, power, ceiling fans and other recommendations. The installation by Southern California Patios took 1-day to complete and was amazingly fast with high quality craftsmanship. Fantastic work!!!

Bray Ramirez and his coworker were amazing! Bray confirmed placement on all the lights and fans. Stayed late, wanting to make sure the job was complete. He went through how everything worked before he left as well as making a point to make sure we cleaned the gutters every once in a while to avoid blockage. We had our patio cover put up a few days ago. We got the white gable with built in LEDs, a ceiling fan and a gfi outlet. We love it and it has completely transformed our back yard. Leo helped us plan it and set it up. The team arrived less than a week later. Johnny, Eric and Mark did an amazing job building it and they only took a few hours building and installing it. The whole team was great and I would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

Abominable company! Their business model is to sweet talk clients with promises of stellar customer service and workmanship. Don’t believe it! During my patio cover build they deviated from the agreed-upon structure, and they then caused a dangerous, but relatively easy-to-fix electrical short problem at my home. Their response to my many requests for help was first to make a number of appointments at my home--all of which were no-shows on their part. They then denied my request to speak to the owner, Kyle Kelly, and went on to ignore my further attempts to contact them by phone, text, or email. I finally sent a certified demands letter to the company that was also ignored. Meanwhile, I still have a dangerous structure that violates the contract on my property! It has dangerous electrical problems while sitting adjacent to my pool. Don’t believe their claims of exceptional BBB and online reviews--it only means they have deleted mine at the very least.

Very happy with Southern California patios. Had them install an alumawood patio cover. Company was very responsive and provided great customer service. Edgar and Carlos came out to install and did a wonderful job. They were very friendly and hard working. Did a great job on the cover.

Solid alumawood patio installation looks great! We are very happy with the results. Installers were friendly and efficient.

Im very pleased with our new patio cover installation. Workers were on time, professional, and very polite. We bought the foam insulated cover because we have boys who like to kick soccer balls through the yard. I didnt think the un-insulated covering could withstand any impacts from a soccer ball.We had the patio cover installed on top of our roof-line. This raised the patio an additional 2-3 feet. I love this option because I dont feel like I need to duck when I walk under the cover.The 6 LED lights are perfect and we really dont need the light that came with the ceiling fan we installed.We are still waiting for the rain gutter leaf guards to be installed but Jeff promised he would take care of it.The only reason I did not provide a 4 star rating: I keep finding cigarette butts in my yard. Its been 3 weeks since the install and I keep finding butts in the planters and grass. Ive always had a dislike for people who discard their butts in anything other than a trashcan.

Upon paying my deposit, the company was helpful and stayed in touch with me on estimated timelines and scheduled things with ease. The installers, Hector and Edgar were kind, professional and left the job site cleaner than it was when they arrived. The final product looked amazing and I am thrilled with my results!

We had our new patio cover put on a couple weeks ago and we absolutely love it. We had a great experience with Jamie who came out and took measurements, photos, and provided us with the BEST estimate we got. We got multiple other estimates from other companies but no one beat Southern California Patios. We had a bit of a unique job with a half gable half lattice roof-mounted cover and our installer, Troy, did an excellent job! There was one post that we decided to move after the fact and Troy did not hesitate to do so and had it moved quickly. Jamie went above and beyond helping us to install a special dimmer switch for the lighting which works perfectly. We have enjoying our new patio and cant recommend Southern California Patios enough!

So California Patio replaced our old patio cover with a Alumawood cover. From start to finish it was a great experience. Javier was the initial person we dealt with he came and measured, explained the process and gave us the estimate. He was great very informative knew what he was talking about. Once the plans were approved we set a date for the demo with the following day to be the build. The date for the demo comes, team was on time very friendly. Once the demo is done it was discovered our facia was not strong enough to attach the patio cover so this delayed the build. We had the repairs done and build was scheduled. Edgar and Carlos were great they were on time and eager to get started. Unfortunately there was a big wild fire in the area, between the smoke and 95 plus temperature they were unable to complete the build in one day. The following day Jamie arrived to finish the trim work and the electrical. All three we’re exceptional, I can’t tell you how happy my husband and I are with the final build. The workmanship the attention to detail is phenomenal. So if you’re on the fence about purchasing a Alumawood patio cover I can assure you that you will be very pleased. Thank you Edgar, Carlos, Javier and Jamie it was a pleasure working with you.

I had a patio cover installed about a year ago. Leo was my salesman and did a great job in selling and taking my money and thats where the great job stops. There were delays and a change in crews because the original crew took another job because they were double booked. I called Leo numerous times until he finally sent me over some less than professional electrician who used youtube instructional videos to wire and install my lights on the cover. I had to help him because it literally took him 7 hours to install three lights. Immediately I noticed that a cover to one of the legs was bent and dented and the top beam covers were not installed correctly. I told Leo and he said he would have someone come repair it and nothing. I planned on getting an extension to the patio so figured Id just bring it up then. So a few weeks back, I called to get a quote for the extension, and I noticed leaking, and was told Leo no longer works for the company. I was told by Caitlyn that she would personally meet with the GM about my complaints and have him call me the next day. This was on a Tuesday. Wednesday nothing. Thursday nothing. I finally emailed her Friday and she said she was just going into the meeting with him and would call me. Nothing. The weekend came and went and I received an email from Caitlyn on Monday, saying the GM (I think it stands for general maintenance man) would be at my house to repair the items and give me a quote on Tuesday. Nothing. I emailed Caitlyn again and was told late in the day another excuse that he didnt have cell phone reception where he was and had another job he had to do. (Again because I didnt give them a check they dont care, and its 2021, stop with the cellphone reception excuse). So Caitlyn told me that Jamie would be at my house the following day. He was late and told me that the original installers did not seal the top of the cover correctly and thats why it was leaking. He said he would be back with some roofing tape. He changed out the leg cover and fixed the beam covers and said he would come back. Nothing since. That was two weeks ago. I went outside and found that one of my lights which was on the cover Jamie replaced, was hanging just by the wires. The screws were obviously not fastened properly and pulled themselves out. I tried screwing them in myself and realized that there is no backing plate that he put inside of the cover and its hollow, causing the screws to just spin. I emailed Caitlyn again with these problems and cant wait for the excuses to roll in. And I was supposed to get a quote from Jamie about extending the cover the same day when he got back in the office and nothing. It was a week and half later and it was 70% of the cost of my original cover. Youd think for all these problems and lack of confidence in the company itself there would be a discount of some sort, nope. They dont care. They want your money so they will do their best to sell but once it comes to backing their product, they do not care. Now Im stuck with a patio cover that leaks, a light that wont screw in and extensions that wont be done.And of course still nothing has been done. I was told by Jamie, things will be fixed and he talk to the owner on Monday during their Monday meeting and it’s Wednesday and nothing. Caitlyn continues to ignore my emails, I can’t really believe this company is still in business if he treats his customers this way. It doesn’t make any sense I spent a bunch of money a year ago and this is how they treat their customers that have supposed warranties on the patio covers. They don’t want to do service without some sort of profit coming in. But I’ve even offered to spend more money on an extension and this is continuously how they treat me. Bunch of lies missed appointments no-shows And no communication.

So we got our patio cover installed about a year and a half ago. Leo was our designer and it was very quickly understood that he was a salesman and promised some things that just could not be delivered. My cover was not built timely, infact the workers were given another job halfway through my build and I had to call Leo everyday, multiple times, to get him to send me someone. He sent me a second rate electrician that was watching youtube videos on how to install my lights on the patio and asked that I paid him directly instead of the company because the company does not pay him. All he did was complain and I had to help him install everything. I asked for other items to be fixed and it never happened. So my wife wanted an extension to the existing cover so I called recently and was told Leo no longer worked for the company. Which is probably a good thing. So I figured maybe the problems went away. Nope. They continue. I was told by Caitlyn that she would meet with the General Manager the next day about some concerns that I have and the extension quote and that I would be certain to hear from her. Nothing again. (there is a pattern here). It took three days and three emails later to finally hear that Caitlyn did not do what she said she did when she said she was going to do it and was going to now meet with this GM on Friday and guaranteed me that I would receive a call from her. Nothing again. I emailed her again and was now put on a schedule for Tuesday 06/22 between 0800-1000. No one showed. Finally at 1230 I emailed Caitlyn again and advised her no one showed. I received another email later in the afternoon, full of excuses about no cell service, and on another job but said Jamie would come to my house on Wednesday. Jamie did show up and fixed some portions that needed to be fixed and said he did not have roofing tape to seal the top of the cover properly, which was not sealed to begin with, allowing water and dirt to drain down.Jamie also said he would text me his number and to contact him directly and that I would have a quote by end of business day on Wednesday. Nothing again. It is now Friday 06/25 at 8pm, which means businesses are closed and nothing.This is a pattern for this company. Of course if you are giving them money they want their money right then and communicate that to you constantly. But obviously this company does not care about its customers, customer service, or being honest and truthful.Its absolutely ridiculous the experience I have had with Southern California Patios. And all I get from them is excuses. If I were you I would steer clear of this company and find a different patio company that atleast communicates properly as a business.

We had an excellent experience with So.Cal. Patios from our first point of contact with Kyle, to request an estimate, through completion of our patio. Kyles estimate was lower than the other estimates we received, but beyond that his commitment to providing his customers with excellent service cant be beat. The installation crew is also to be commended for their professionalism and workmanship.

Warranty is Null. Buyer beware. We had our patio installed in 2013. Over time, the vertical beams have corroded through. When we contacted the company for a resolution or repair, we got the “run-around.” They were so nice when we were purchasing our 10 x 40 patio cover with added fans and lights. Eventually, I got a call back, and at the initial response, the woman stated it was definitely a warranty issue and a defect in the product that they rarely see. After a few more days, she sent me to Amerimax, where “Heath Morgan” asked for pictures; which I sent. Heath Morgan immediately emailed me back stating that dog urine is very corrosive, and therefore not covered by the warranty. First off, we don’t have a dog urinating on All 5 of our patio beams! Secondly, when I sent the pictures, I responded to Heath’s email with that & that the beams were just sprayed off so as to show the rusted through holes. It has been over a month, and not one word! What a crooked company to not honor their warranty. I would never recommend Amerimax Alumawood patron covers or So. cal Patio covers to any family member or friend. They will take your money, and then leave you high and dry if there is an issue. Also, there is no mention of anything (including dog urine) having any ability to corrode their “amazing” product. Oh, and my neighbors patio cover was also done by them & is doing the exact same thing...oh, and they also have no dogs!See for yourself.

Been looking at aluminum patios for a while and finally had the work done by Southern California Patios. They did an OUTSTANDING job and would recommend them to anyone considering.

Excellent design work and great pricing by SCP however very poor install. 24 unnecessary holes drilled into the side of my house and patched with silicone. Crooked beams, aluminum parts damaged due to attachment being installed too tight, electrical wiring left exposed to rain, strongly encouraged to skip having project inspected County, suggested that we partially refill footing holes with dirt after inspection; lacking ethical standards. Follow-up care wasnt much better. Repairman came with a very poor attitude. Boss said hed come out and take a look - no show. Leah was most helpful !!

These guys were amazing. They were prompt and they cleaned up so good. The workmanship was incredible and they installed 3 ceiling fans. They beat four other bids by 600.00$ and Javier was not a high pressure salesmen and I so appreciated that. My patio took two days just like they said and I will use them again if need be.

My Husband and I have been working on getting a patio cover in our back yard, we have a BIG patio and wanted it all covered, so we had Southern California Patios came out and give us a estimate, the outside sales (LEO) he was very good and very professional. We were very excited to finely get this up and doing this before the summer heat hit. Then we had to slow our roll down a bit, because we are now in a pandemic so we waited a few weeks then decided to call to see if they were still opened and taking orders. Sure enough they were, we had Leo put our order in. Billing dept. was very nice and professional as well. Within one week we were watching our patio being built. We had two guys here BRAY R and ROBERT R. WOW these two guys knew exactly what to do to get this job done. They had this patio up in 1 1/2 days they were very professional and very nice. They left NO mess to clean up, they cleaned very thing up. 11-2020 ALUM WOOD INSTALLED at my home. On 12-28-2020, heavy rain for 1 day. It leaks where attached to my home. I have called 4 times to your office, left message.NO BODY CALLS ME back. I cant take pictures its not raining. the WHOLE SECTION HAS to be SEALED AGAIN. PLEASE CALL ME, I NEED THIS TAKEN CARE OF.

I agreed with 2 of the recent reviews. We tried to understand during hard times, Covid, but communications could be better. There were few missteps along the way, but we let it go. After almost 4 long months of waiting, we were very excited on our installation day. After waiting that morning, I called Caitlin, the manager who set up the appointment, to confirm if someone is coming. She texted me back and said she moved my date to tomorrow and that she’ll be in a meeting all day. So RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! She didn’t even have the decency to inform me in advance or call to explain or apologize, STUCKUP. She is the worst manager I ever dealt with. No one is in a meeting all day. Fast forward, my patio also leaked on 12/28/20. I called, no answer. Again she texted me back, said she’s on the phone, what can she help. I said, sent pictures of the leaks, and to let me know what happens next. No reply, I waited and called many more times. When she finally picked up the phone after 1 week, I asked “Did you get my pictures”. She said “Ohh..Yeahh, yes, I did”, but failed to let me know. She waisted my time and energy. She’s dodging and stalling me. When the installers didn’t do something right, it’s their responsibility to fix. We didn’t have to invest so much efforts. When she wants payment, she emailed everyday. After 1 month, she scheduled my repair on a rainy day. Unbelievable, so UNETHICAL! Sure enough the installer couldn’t come due to the rain. He came two days after that, did the repair and it rained hard few hours after that. I don’t know if the sealers didn’t have enough time to dry, but it leaked again. FRUSTRATED and FEDUP, I asked to speak to the owner, but CAN’T and was told to write an email. When someone has an issue, I think it’s better to discuss in person. I can’t deal with the manager and now I can’t talk to the owner. After the email, a technician was sent out to assess the leaks. He said it was normal bc of the L shaped patio, but he will try to recaulk again to see if it would help. He said to let it dry for few days, then he will let me know when he can return based on his schedule. I followed up after 3 weeks and got a reply saying “OK, I can do”, but he failed to give me a date. Now it’s been 1.5 month and he has not return. If he said he’s busy and to give him some more time, I would understand. The company is known for their customer service, but now I’m not so sure.

I have only good things to say about my experience. I love my patio. It turned out great. Very professional treatment from Leo, who gave me lots of options with my estimate. And Ed and Edgar were pleasant and helpful in getting my patio up even in 100 degree weather. Thank you.

Have waited 8 months with little to show for our patio cover project. The limited communication we have had has come only from our continued inquires into when the cover will be completed. The delays started like everything else in 2020, COVID related as everybody was performing work on their homes. After a couple months, the delays shifted to the manufacturer not having available product and then escalated from a bad part on the machine (which makes our IRP Insulated Roof Panel) to the machine going completely offline. Now, 8 months later, we have 3 columns installed with no cover and a BBQ island and pool we cannot finish due to the cover and related projects needing to be completed. Worst of all, SoCal cannot even provide us an estimate as to when the project will be complete, its the maybe in a couple weeks speech over and over, months and months later. I understand reasonable delays and business going awry from time to time, but I fail to accept the lack of communication regarding a project so far past due. Failing to want to engage with a customer due to having to address a serious problem is simply poor customer service. Ive been told on several occasions somebody would look into our project and get back with us with some real answers only to be met with zero contact thereafter. After all our research and the multiple high mark reviews, SoCal was hyped as the best around, not the case on this project. Its easy to throw the blame on the manufacturer which is all weve heard to date, its another thing to make something happen and I fail to believe that all options have been exhausted in this case. Who knows, maybe Santa will bring us a patio cover....

Everyone from the sales person to the office staff to the install crew were very professional and made me feel like I was the most important customer they had. The covers came out great and it really transformed my backyard into an outdoor living area. Having shade on a hot summer day helped me and my family enjoy more time outside. Southern California Patio installation.

Called these guys because of their reviews they were very professional and nice. They cleaned up good. When the job was done I noticed some things I didnt like, hope I wouldve known before they finished. I found out I had to fix the wood that is on the inside of the patio which doesnt look good with a new patio. The outlet they ran power from was all loose because the inside was broken.Texted the salesman Javier who said someone would fix it but then didnt answer me again...

New to Cali and we want to take every opportunity to enjoy this weather. We found out about them from neighbor. They worked with us to plan out everything we needed to create a complete new living space. Crew was on time, curteous and professional.

After receiving several unaffordable quotes we got a referral from a friend to contact Southern California Patios, which we did. That was the beginning of one of the most pleasant experiences we have had with a home improvement company. The first contact was with the scheduler who was very professional and arranged an appointment with Jamie. Jamie came out on a rainy day and took all the measurements while getting soaking wet. He didnt seem to mind. Just wanted to take care of the customer. The quote was unbelievably competitive and we immediately felt we were going down the right road. Prior to making our final visit we went to see the displays in Corona. Great show room and we were guided through by owner Kyle who impressed us so much that our final decision was now a no brainier. We contacted Jamie and gave him the go ahead. Our experience was even better when we met installers Bryan and Albert, also super impressive. Throughout the entire installation process they were fantastic, and cleanup every night was better than the way they found it. They were very patient with the numerous questions we had for them. We cant give them a high enough rating. Anyone would be well served to use SoCal Patios.

We absolutely love our new patio. We had an odd roof decline and Sergio our salesman and Troy the patio builder did an amazing job of incorporating the different slopes of the roof into an amazing patio. We added 2 fans and recesssed lighting adding 400 square feet of living space outdoors.They were able to schedule us within 2 weeks of when we booked. The price was amazing. We got several quotes and they beat everyone hands down with all the extras!!!Our home provided many challenges that Troy did an amazing job of adapting as he installed. I have been told Troy is one of their best installers. I don’t doubt it for a second!!!This company was so amazingly professional. They were very accommodating with any requests I made while they were installing.Call and ask for Caesar and request Troy for your build. I promise you will not regret it!!!

Made appointment for September 16 at 10 AM & at 10:30 I called and left a voicemail & mention that nobody’s here however they never call me back never respond back what a terrible customer service they have I’m glad that I didn’t do business with them stay away from these scam. They wasted my time waiting two hours keep calling them but nobody answer the damn phone

After talking to a few different companies and looking at a few different options,real lumber/framed and stucco/retractable shade I decided to go with a alumawood patio cover. I have seen a few Southern California Patios trucks around.( I Drive a few hundred miles a day) So I gave them a call. From the 1st conversation they where very knowledgeable,professional, and punctual. I met with Kyle and decided to go with him. From start to finish his crew performed beyond my expectations. About a month ago I was shopping around for a new patio installation and I settled on Southern California Patios (SCP). SCP was very highly recommended by its previous customers and my experience was no different. Kyle was very easy to contact and the material and labor was very reasonably priced.Travis was the installer on my job site and apart from being incredibly skilled in his trade, he was also very meticulous and professional.
