Ive been here for over 3 years now... Overall it is a VERY fast paced work environment with always a lot going on... If you enjoy fast paced work this is the place for you!Personally think there are many long term opportunities here to learn and grow alongside the company. The owners are present and listen to their employees which I can appreciate. If youre up for the challenge theyll give you the time of day. I came from a completely different line of work and wouldnt be where I am today without the knowledge shared by everyone here at the company.

I worked with Tamshell for less than a year, despite accepting a job year here in the hopes of a long-term position. I left voluntarily for the following reasons. The despicable actions by some of the employees went unresolved by the company even though I made multiple attempts to have these issues resolved. These particular employees bullied other employees and even their customers. Some of their actions included repeatedly calling a customer a condescending name, laughing at another customer and going so far as to put him on speakerphone so they may laugh (unbeknown to him) at his Nigerian accent. They work in close proximity to the restrooms and make up names for other employees bathroom habits and laugh at them when they walk by. The same immature, un-educated employees mock the Vietnamese accent of the Production Scheduling Manager, call the Human Resources Manager another condescending name behind her back and talk badly about the owners the second they leave the room. None of the people they have bullied and made fun deserve that treatment, even if it is behind their back. I noticed this behavior early on and notified the company but nothing was done. When these despicable people later decided to turn their efforts me, I notified the company and again, my efforts were in vain and they did nothing to resolve this awful atmosphere. The owners are very nice people and do know how to run a business, I wish them the best. As far as these specific people, I strongly believe the company should do something about it. They should not be employing and continuing to back people of this caliber up, especially a Quality Assurance Manager who is in a lot cases the face of the company. It is sad that these people feel so awful about their own lives that they have to call others names and make fun of them to feel good bout themselves, very sad.As for the rest of the company, they have an outstanding Production Manager who pushes the team but also takes care of them. The leads on the shop floor are also very knowledgeable and open to sharing their knowledge (which is rare in this business). The Quality Control team is amazing, they care about the work, theyre knowledgeable and open to helping others.My hope for Tamshell is that they will finally open their eyes to the toxic people on their Quality Assurance Team before more people have to endure the sort of everyday toxic, harmful and immature environment that I and others have endured. Tamshell, you have a policy against bullying and harassing people, please dont include that in your policies if you are not willing to stand up to it and do something about. You dont have to put up with these kind of people in your business. There really are people out there that want to have a good, productive, uplifting work environment and to grow with your business.

I’ve never worked for a company that has made me feel as welcomed as Tamshell. Management cares about their employees, they organize fun activities (were cash prizes are awarded), luncheons, holiday gift cards, and even celebrate the employee’s birthdays (with cupcakes/donuts). If you ask me, it’s a great work environment!

Another terrible place to work for in corona alongside its competitor hoosier machine shop. Both places are undesirable for beginner machinists and experienced alike. Nobody give these guys your business please, theyre better served to not get any of it. Both of them need to reevaluate how they run things.

Horrible work experience, very unprofessional. The owners want you to be like robots while they are having the time if they’re lives chatting it up the whole time . Very disappointing. & must I add they are always micromanaging employees they watch the camera like hawks.
