I’m really glad I came here. My transmission was giving me so many problems. I have already went to two places and they couldn’t get the job done for some reason. I was starting to get worried but I seen AAMCO on my way home lol I walked in and already I had a good vibe. GEO made sure that I was taken care of and provided me with good service. He made sure I understand why my transmission was giving me issues and to have a better idea of why it was so difficult to fix. But I’m doing this review now and waited a little to make sure they did the job right. It’s been months and I am super happy I have no more issues and my car is running smooth. Thanks Geo for making my life better and also acting super professional and working with his team to get this done! Super satisfied!

I appreciate the professionalism and timely repair for my vehicle. I went to 3 other shops and everyone told me something different. The interaction with the General Manager Giovanny was pleasant and he kept me informed on the progress along the way. Not only did the AAMCO team fix my vehicle, they treated me like family. I received a brief education about transmissions and how the function and specifically where my problem was. when they told me I needed to leave my car overnight, I cringed but Giovanny was quick to assist and he understand my concern. He offered their car rates and introduced me to the partnership with Enterprise to get a rental. The Enterprise experience was just as pleasurable. Two companies working today made my day, it was great. Great Job!

Made appointment first thing in the morning 7:30 am, to check transmission/engine mount, he said no rack avail, need to wait for couple hours, it should have inspection done and have estimated cost by noon. No phone call by noon, I called in, he said will call back 30 minutes, still no call back, I called again, nothing done, by 2:30 pm, he called and had half of estimate $1,900, only top engine mounts, but he could NOT check the bottom of transmission mount, because the rack NOT avail, what is the point for me to have half bake cost estimate.... and made the appointment up front...... if so busy, not avail then just let customer know, why I left the car almost all day and only get half bake cost estimate.... Never come back again, if there was zero star, I will give it to this store.

I had the absolute longest day today. But without Geovanny it wouldve been a lot longer. Im sitting in my bed rn recounting the crazy life experience I had and just how bad it couldve been and the repercussions of a bunch of life stuff that has nothing to do with aamco but bringing my car here was the absolute best decision i made all day by far and bar none!Mr Duenas and his servive was the greatest highlight in what will come to be one of my worst car experiences in my life. He went above and beyond his normal duties and he got my car serviced upon. I was in AND out! Not only did my master cylinder go bad but coincidentally, my alternator fried out just before a very important trip. Sudden car repairs happening all at once can devastate any bank account if you arent prepared but after calling and referencing prices aamco came out on top in each situation. My brakes are tight now my battery is new and my alternator is clean af. And I got it all done for $660! SAME DAYI made it to my job interviewI made it to my moms birthdayand most importantly I made it to this old fashioned I poured for myself.Thank you aamco and thank you Geo! This ones for you!

Great Service! Honest and reputable. Brought my car in due to sudden hard steering and power steering fluid leak. Earlier last week my car had an oil change at a quick lube place. AAMCO technicians found the power steering fluid cap removed which caused power steering fluid to leak. They topped off the power steering fluid and put the cap on. They did not charge me a single cent for their service! I highly recommend them. Thank You AAMCO for being so honest.

I had transmission problems and I had gone to other places and was dissatisfied however, since I have a Suzuki and those cars are no longer made, they told me there wasnt any parts here in the US. They couldnt find any parts. I saw the commercial about AAMCO and saw they were transmission experts, so I decided to check them out. Im glad I made that decision. Giovanni was very helpful and explained everything to me the process and estimated cost. As a single parent, it was hard for me to make such an expense, but I really needed my car. They found the parts needed, and they did it in a good amount of time. It was really fast, and although transmission work is not cheap, I feel like I got a good deal. Especially with the 18 month warranty, its a wonderful feeling, peace of mind that its guaranteed. I totally recommend AAMCO of Corona. Ask for Giovanni, I can assure you that you wont regret it. Its a nice little place everybodys friendly I know the rest of the staff are nice too I just dont remember their names. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. Im so happy that my car is fixed and I waited a couple of weeks before I did the review so that I could test it, and my car feels great everything is running smoothly! Thank you AAMCO! I wanted to wait before I posted my review on this transmission shop. And I am glad to report that the job was done well and properly. Geo gave me the run down on the wait time and job description. He also communicated with me well. The tech, while doing his inspection actually noticed one of my rims was bent ever so slightly in the rear and told me. Good stuff considering I only went in for transmission work. I am overall impressed by this shop and the exceptional employees. I would recommend this shop for people needing transmission work done.They also do work on german transmissions, my 300 srt8 has a Mercedes trans and they were able to work on it for a very reasonable price.

Dont go to ammco. I took my vehicle in at the end of August for hard shifting and the repair wasnt made correctly until after new years. I had to take my vehicle back 5 times over the course of 5 months before a decent repair was made. If I could leave zero stars I would. This company does not value its clients time. If time is as valuable to you as it is to me, I would choose another place to receive your service.

I am so glad I found this Aamco location. The staff here are very helpful and Geovanny actually took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and explained all the parts I needed without making me feel like I was being scammed. He even kept me up to date while my car was in the shop, I’d recommend him since he’s very knowledgeable from what I saw. Everyone is very helpful and friendly...they explain whats going on.. they will keep you informed every step of your repair.. The only downside is that they are very busy so repairs often take longer than one or two days but Ive never had to go back for the same thing twice.

I took my 2011 Chevy pickup for transmission fluid change & oil change. The service was good, but they do not go the extra mike & top the off windshield fluid or point out my brake fluid was low. As a female customer, these small items make a big difference. So as long as you know what’s needed, they are good.

As far as my transmission they did a good job on that, but I must say after picking the vehicle up it was still leaking motor oil under the impression it may be the rear main seal they replace my truck kept leaking motor oil so I took it back thinking the rear main seal was leaking, they try,d to take advantage of the hole situation by trying to charge me $1200 to replace the upper oil pan gasket, I realized they are trying to charge me another $900 just to drop the transmission even though they said they drop the transmission anyways so it just did make any sense, so be careful dealing with this place i will never go there again.

I took my car in for AC work. Turned out it needed a recharge and one of the fans stopped working. I told them to go ahead and fix it and not even 24 hours later, they called me and said it was finished and ready to be picked up. It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had dealing with an automotive repair shop. Their staff was very polite and professional. I didnt have to wait for anything. I totally recommend coming to this place for your AC/Transmission needs. I wont go anywhere else! Geovanny was the one who took care of everything. Thank you!

I had a great experience here, which is hard to come by when dealing with car trouble. They ran the check engine light diagnostic and solved the few issues it had. I cross-checked two other shops to see if they were giving me a fair price and surely enough they were. The man that helped me out was Geovanny. Ill be bringing my Toyota back until it dies, its currently at 180,000 and he made it feel like she can give me 100k more.

I called this repair shop to get some answers regarding a transmission that needed to be rebuilt on one of my vehicles. When I ask them what is the warranty on an automatic transmission rebuild they told me it was 18 months and then when I ask them what does it cost for the extended warranty and how long It would be covered for they told me they would have to see the car first which did not make any sense at all to me and I felt like they were just trying to get the car in there first . They could not give me any type of ballpark price either, they wanted the car there they wanted to take the car apart and then they were going to let me know what the extended warranty would cost and how long it was good for. So then I called a competitor or two in the general area and they were able to answer all my questions over the phone and give me a ballpark dollar amount and how much it would cost to repair my car before I even had it towed in there. My advice to anybody out there shopping for service on an automatic transmission is to call the competitors in the general area before you go with Aamco transmissions and see how they treat you before you make a decision on taking your car into AAMCO transmissions Corona.

Aamco corona, the reason Im giving aamco 4 stars is do to the time it took to get the parts in to fix my transmission, and I get it its not there fault!!!! Other than that they totally worked with me as far as getting me a rental car and I was not left without transportation,, and Im so happy they got a new G.M Geovanny Duenas he is the best, he keeps you informed with whats going on with your vehicle, the last Manager did not!!! nor did it matter to him!!! When my check engine light came on in my Jeep I begrudgingly took it in thinking that I was going to be spending an arm and a leg. Luckily I found this AAMCO and the office manager Adrian! Not only did they look at my transmission for free but Adrian called me many times to keep me updated on the progress of my car. He was kind, honest and it was the best experience I have ever had bar none! If my car ever breaks down again I would have it towed to this location because I know they are honest and going to give me the best price possible.

I had the most helpful and honest experience from the moment I called. The level of customer service with them is not one you find much more nowadays. Adrian is super helpful. I know he had to explain to me more then twice the situation with my Acura, which by the way had me way stressed and did not want to get charged an arm and a leg. Receiving Desk guy forgets what you want to get done. I ask to do a transmission oil change and transfer case oil change and they only did a transmission oil change. I ask and he responded I forgot. Haaaaa i couldn’t believe it. I wonder if they also forgot to put a screw in my truck. Save your self a headache I won’t come back.

Horrible experience. John charged me $125 diagnostic fee, said 3rd gear was gone, at which point he would need an additional $895, where he would open the transmission, then charge for any additional parts and labor, could have been up to $3500. I couldnt afford to do the work, then he offered financing which I would not accept. He then belittled me for not accepting his offer. I took the car elsewhere to find all it needed was service $185. He never even offered service as an option, what a crook. I thought I would trust the aamco name, but no longer.

I am very disappointed because their customer service is terrible. Years ago I got work done with this AAMCO and it is truly sad that they are not able to pull records passed a year. Unfortunately when I called today they told me they only keep records on file for 1 year on the computer. I later called again and they told me they would call me and to wait. Hours went by and no phone call. I then went into the shop and the guy was sitting on his chair obviously doing nothing. He told me that they legally dont have to keep them for more than a few years and that he had my number and to wait for his call. I asked what time they closed and should expect a call and I obviously got no call. Hope AAMCO finds good customer service because they lost me as a customer.

I was very disappointed by how my mom was treated at this location. Customer service is an important attribute, especially when dealing with any type of business or organization.My mom took her van to this location because it was the closest when her van was having issues. They supposedly repaired the vans transmission and talked my mom into buying a warranty. I wish I had been with her when this happened.She bought the warranty which was not cheap. A word about warranties, theyre wonderful but only if the company actually backs the warranty. So when the van started having issues once again with the transmission, she was required to take it directly to this location.My mom lives about 40 some miles from them. She drives back just for them to tell her they found nothing. She drives off and yet, the same issue a few days later. She then calls once again. Because she is not close by, they allow her to take it to the AAMCO by her home. This location found the problem right away and let her know what it was, however, they could not repair it since the warranty was not with them. She then takes the van back to this location, they check and then tell her they found nothing once again. Huh? She reminds them she took it to the AAMCO by her home and they found the problem which she relayed to them. This then causes the manager to come out from his office and question her! He is wondering why she took it to another location and feels there is no trust. Really? Why would there be any trust if she has to keep taking it back just to be told nothing was found? And they are the ones who told her she could take it to the AAMCO by her home. So this apparently causes some unhappiness from this location which is just petty and unprofessional.They kept her van for almost a week. I then go back with her this time because of the way she was treated last time. She has been nothing but nice to them and yet, they treat her like she committed some kind of crime. Get over it!! Their customer service is terrible and it needs some major work. The attitude from John was very disappointing. If I were a new customer walking in and saw how he acted, I would walk right back out! My mom is their customer. Regardless of how unhappy they are with the situation at hand, take responsibility and own it! A mistake was made and another AAMCO found it, end of story!!If we could move the warranty to the AAMCO by her home, I would do it in a heartbeat. This location needs some serious customer service skills and a much better attitude towards their customers. I hope she has no other issues with her van because I do not want her to ever go back to this location for help. They owe her an apology. And I will not be referring anyone I know to this location, ever!!!!

Talked to john twice about a transmission rebuilt by them 6 months ago with the same issue again, transmission temp high, worst customer service ever, horrible phone skills, talked to me as if he was doing me a favor, did not explain the extent of their work, i had to ask, explained it in the laziest way, very evasive about the repair job, hope no one ever has to talk to john. Note to john if you dont like your job you should quit before they fire you.

I had my Chrysler Van at the dealer for a shifting problem and they told me that I needed a new transmission ----- and it would be over $4000 ---- I was going to do it, but I called AAMCO at the last minute to see what they would cost ---- I ended up there and they told me I only needed solenoids changed. I went in not exactly knowing what was wrong with my car. It shakes when I accelerate and sometime when I slow down. I thought it was my transmission slipping. They diagnose and found it was the U-joint. Fixed it the same day, at a fair price. I was happy with the service, would recommend them to anyone who has problems with their car.

BEWARE OF AAMCO 539 West Rincon Street, Corona, CA 92880We were referred to this location to inspect our work truck which began leaking transmission fluid. From the beginning we told the manager Adrian twice that we want any old parts back. Aamco called us with an estimate for $2300, which we approved being at their mercy and reiterated we want the old parts saved and put in the back of the truck at time of pickup. We received a call earlier in the week stating the truck was done and the total is $3198.00 I inquired about the price increase over the estimate and was told the torque converter was bad too.. We asked for the exact total so we could have a check ready at time of pickup. Adrian said they only accept credit card or cash. I said, ok, let me call you back with a debit card. My office manager called back today, Friday December 9, 2016 to provide the debit card in which Adrian said he couldnt accept over the phone but could fax an authorization. My office manager reminded Adrian to please give the old parts to our employee with he comes in today to pick up the vehicle and once again to put the old parts in the back of the truck. Adrian claimed we never told him we wanted the old parts and they no longer have them. We reminded him he was personally told separately by the owner and his father to save the parts! We told Adrian if you do not have the parts we will go ahead and pay for it but we will seek legal action, sue them, and file a complaint with BAR at which time he said in that case we want cash now. We are in business and do not pay anyone in cash, ever! I know the IRS will be interested in reading our complaint about their business practices of demanding cash only. Aamco is holding our truck hostage with their strong arm tactics, so today, the same day we filed a lawsuit in small claims. Aamco violated directly CA Law provisions for automotive repair act, they did not obtain a signature for a work order, they did not obtain a single signature for anything, they failed to provide a written estimate required under the law, they failed to save the old parts required under the law when asked they must save and return. Under the law they cannot collect a penny because they didnt follow protocol, we had no problem paying provided our parts were returned as requested. . CROOKS! Trying to strong arm my boss into bringing cash! We specifically requested TWICE to have the old parts returned, under California law they have violated CA consumer affairs requirements and will not release our work truck. We offered to pay with a debit card and if they cannot furnish the old parts we would sue them. We are suing them, I recommend going anywhere but here!!! They also violated the law in refusing to provide a written estimate or require a signature. Update: I sued them and prevailed. I expect to have my refund in hand within 30 days or I will be left no choice but to file a creditor- debtor hearing and stand in front of their location with a sign and let each and every person know my experience with this outfit. Perfidious auto mechanics who prey on the ignorance of the average consumer do this because the consumer allows it. I recommend always asking for your old parts back, it keeps them honest and affords a better understanding of what was done. We asked twice for return of our old parts and told no problem when it came time to pay for the repair it suddenly was $1,000 more than quoted and we were told no one asked for the parts; we dont have them. I filed a lawsuit and miraculously overnight, the very next day our old parts appeared. After inspecting the deplete box of parts It was evident that these likely were not my old parts. I ordered a rebuild kit online to compare and there are 93 parts missing from the box they gave back to me, the torque converter was half dry and full of rust, theres no way this came off our work truck. I sought a second opinion of another mechanic who ascertained most of the work, IF performed, was done incorrectly...
