1st time I have ever used them. And will be the last. I assumed my product was in-stock. Invoice back order 0. After 2 weeks and nothing I called and they said. You need to read your Invoice it says that we are having product issues. No it does not and why would that be on an invoice and not on the website. We are waiting on a powder finish. It will be 5- 7 business days. Befor it ships. Emailed them 2 weeks later and they told me it was going to ship today 10/25 might get lucky and them send it out today 10/23. 10/25 no shipping slip. Call 10/26 the man say idk why they would say that your product is waiting for a powder finish. And we dont even have any in. We did get a few in today but we have orders ahead of you. Its going to be 5-7 business days. Thats is what yall told me 2 weeks ago. Well we cant control when we get them. Then why give me a time frame. I mean you have my $1200 and I have nothing. Worst company ever. If I dont have a shipping slip by 10/29 I will be contacting my bank to cancel this. Almost 30 days and nothing.

You won’t find more knowledgeable and helpful people but man they lack so much on the customer service and communication side. 10-20 minutes on hold every time to speak to someone is wild. Lack of response to emails as well.Good company and wouldn’t take much for them to be great.

Buyer beware! They shipped me half of a suspension kit and now want me to pay both the original shipping and the shipping back to them ($86.48) get a refund.I ordered a kit (SBK6372) from their website that was supposed to include both a front and rear sway bar for my 1965 C10. AFTER I received a tracking number for shipping, they emailed me to inform me that the rear sway bar was on back order, estimated back in stock in over 30 days (translation: they have no idea when it will be back in stock) and that they shipped only the front sway bar. When I asked for a refund because half a kit does me no good, they refused and are now insisting I pay to ship the half order back before they will refund my money, minus the original shipping. So, they sent me half of a suspension kit, which does me no good, and are expecting me to pay shipping twice to get some of my my money back. Highly unethical company and I would NOT recommend doing business with them.

Worst company Ive ever dealt with on ordering parts. I ordered a full lowering kit and after months of waiting and calling I finally received everything except my rear springs with a paper saying they would be in within 10 days. Nothing on the website or the rep who i ordered through on the phone stated they were on back order. After the 10 days I finally got ahold of the sales rep I ordered the kit through and he stated the company they get the springs from had dropped the ball and it would be another 6 weeks at least. Either that or I could pay extra for getting customs springs made even though I had already paid for a full kit. After explaining that it wasnt my fault that theyre company had the flopped so bad he told me they would not pay for the custom springs. I decided to be patient and now after another six weeks Im still here with no springs. To anyone who is thinking of buying from this company I would tell them not to. This is the worst customer service of anyone I have ever dealt with in my time in business. They wont call or email you back and have no business ethics for taking care of theyre customers. After several months I have boxes of parts sitting in my shop being absolutely useless till I receive the final parts. Its a shame because they have a good selection, but I cant recommend them to a few of my buddies who are buildings trucks also.

Knew something was wrong when I never received my shipping email 4 days after purchase. I called spoke with someone claiming it was on backorder? Nothing on the website said so. He claimed 2 weeks was as fast as anyone could get my my prothane motor mounts. I will have it next week via Amazon. I will probably have to call again because guy claimed I would receive email confirming order cancel and I never did. Horrible experience.Actually I will have them Monday via Amazon prime. You need to put on the website that it is backordered. No one plans on buying auto parts it kinda just happens when you need them. 🙃

Picked up a pair of rear shocks for my 54 belair with a 3 block drop. Mike helped me out with the bushing size issue from 1/2 to a 5/8 bushing and the shocks went on perfect.. thank you and your crew for the help.. hope to be back soon to pick up the front coil lowering kit!!Update 9/18/2020.. I have to give it up to Fred as well.. thanks for the quick service and friendly talk brother!!.. picked up a set of 2 lowering coils for 54 belair.. installed today and looking great on the street...thanks again Fred!!!

Purchased and paid in full for a 4/6 drop kit for my 68 C10, few days later received only half the order, missing shocks and brackets, apparently some parts have been in powder coat for days.But after a few calls Brandon step to the plate and took care of things, got the rest of my order next day. Dont order from this place youll never see it. Ordered a simple part which was in stock I was told, paid for 2nd day FedEx and Im only 1 state over from this place, the truck was supposed to be in for an alignment on Monday, was told I would have these parts on Saturday, ordered on a Wednesday, nothing came in on that Saturday, zero communication from this place, called back again the following Wednesday to inquire about the parts ordered and was told for some reason they werent pulled from the warehouse and that the rep who sold me the parts would be in contact, never had a call back, an email, zero, nada.Worst communication from a company Ive dealt with in 30 years of ordering parts, either this place is going out of business or they are crooks, or both. Save the frustration and purchase elsewhere.In response to the owners message, what email would you like it sent to.

Nope... so placed an online international order on 21st May and then a second one on 27th May, received email confirmation of the orders and that they are processing. Wait a while, no shipping notification. Emailed on 30th May and received a response that the items will be ready for shipping within days. Wait 2 weeks, nothing... Emailed to ask for an update, still no response. International call today, on hold for 35 mins, to be told that their manager is not in at the moment, not sure where the parts are, probably another month. Terrible service, terrible communication, and you cant keep blaming covid... Have asked for a refund so well see how long this takes.... Simple out of stock on the website is all you need to do...

Bought a set of 73-87 C10 stock height spindles for my 1975 C10. The hole for the upper ball joint is not reamed correctly and will not accept a ball joint for a 1975 (sits ~3-4mm too high, cannot insert pin through nut). Support ticket submitted, so will update if/when this is resolved.Edit: Called within 2 days of submitting support ticket. Currently working on resolving the issue. Looks like they sent me 1972 spindles.Edit 2: They did indeed send me 72 spindles (slight ball joint rock). Theyre shipping the correct ones and a return label for the incorrect ones.Edit 3: They attempted to correct this. Thus far theyve sent me correct year drop spindles when I ordered stock height. And now to correct that, they sent me stock height... for a 1972... again.Edit 4: Finally talked to a tech. They did send 73-87 spindles. They just dont ream the upper ball joint hole to OE depth. So a shorter castle nut solved the issue. To add more confusion, the drop spindles are reamed to OE, so ball joints just drop in without issue.

EDIT: Their way of resolving this is by having me pay return shipping for their error. They shipped me the wrong items. Quote from their page “ Our special care AFTER the sale is how we define great customer service. ” :/CAREFUL - ALL other reviews are accurate. This company DOESN’T care about customers service or the hassle they put one through. I ordered a full drop kit, after a couple of weeks of waiting and not hearing anything from them I called. I was told some items were out of stock, I decided to wait. The new ship day came but I never received a shipping confirmation. I called again and was told a different item in my order was out of stock. After ALOT of calls to customer service I was able to convince them to let me speak with a manager. He somehow found a secret stash of the out of stock item and promised to ship my order. Several days later I received my order - however 4 of the items were for the WRONG vehicle - it amazes me they got my order wrong even after speaking with them over 8 times, including speaking with the general manager. This goes to show the amount of detail put into your order. I called again and was told that even though the box sticker says it’s for a different vehicle they would still fit my vehicle. VERY strange as all the other parts I received have the correct sticker and vehicle information. I shouldn’t have to pay a mechanic to try and install parts not made for my vehicle just to be told they are WRONG. After wasting a month on this order I ask for a return label. That didn’t set well with them and the managers attitude changed. So much they expect me to pay for return shipping because the parts SHOULD fit. So after a month of dealing with this, I’m stuck with 2 heavy boxes, hung ups from WC, and no one from WC willing to return my call. This is EXACTLY what other reviews say and EXACTLY what you will go through with this lovely company. Don’t waste your hard earned money on a company that doesn’t care at ALLEDIT: order #11037

Update on my review.....Fred from the company reached out to my husband I called him back and we had a nice long talk today. He did some research and found out that my credit card company did credit the original shipping which was $35.03 and then fred credited the $50 that we spent out of pocket to send the product back and he also explain to me exactly what happened with an outside company that they get the original parts from.Fred absolutely made good on our complaints so I am editing this review to reflect that fred did absolutely take care of Customer Service though it was a long haul once it got across his desk he absolutely took care of it and made it right with us. Thank you fred!!!!!Mike and Betsy richards.I would absolutely give them a zero star if I could. I ordered mono springs for my husbands classic truck from this company it was $628.18 we were sent the springs and not the assembly kit which came with said mono springs. I contacted the company which took several attempts and many hours to finally get through to them their customer service is the worst. I was on hold for hours and hours trying to get through tried emailing and that was impossible also. Finally got a hold of a customer service rep for the company he checked the weight realized that we were correct we did not get the assembly kit (duh) and that he would send that right out. 12 days later we never got the assembly kit we then had to with our own money send back the springs because we didn’t have the assembly kit which cost us $50. When we asked for a full refund the company told me that they would not refund they’re shipping which was $35.03 or the $50 that it cost us to send it back because of their error. shipping though it was their fault for not sending the entire item that we ordered. So we’re out $86 of our hard earned money because this company sucks and didn’t follow through with their mistake and fix it.So as a consumer I implore you do not order anything from this company it cost us $86 to find out what a Terrible company it is. Oh and when they say it’s two day shipping that’s actually two days from the day they decide to mail it out we waited for weeks to get our product when it was promised “two day shipping“ now had they refunded my entire purchase price I would not be writing this review but I feel people need to know how awful this company actually is. (just for clarification I used the wrong wording for the parts reviewed (my bad) that has been fixed. fred from the company reached out to me to try to fix my issue.

I read the reviews that have been posted....unfortunately after placing an order and having the EXACT same issues with Communication! The absolute ONLY reason I am giving two stars is because Fred saved the day! If you had more employees like Fred you would have TOP reviews. Unfortunately, that is NOT the case. NEVER SELECT OPTION 3 FOR ORDER TRACKING. First call - spoke with receptionist, explained I only got part of my order, no paper work stating the rest was on backorder, nothing on my account page stating it was on backorder. She supposedly checked and stated someone would call me back, they were all in meetings. Second call - I had to call them back 6 hours later. She supposedly went to get the girl in the order department to talk with me. After holding 10 min, someone picked up the phone, when I said hello, they hung up on me. Third call - on hold on hold 1st in Queue, 1st in Queue, receptionist would not pick up. I then hung up my cell phone and called off a land line. She picked up on the first ring....hmmmmm...i explained I was not happy and that I wanted to talk to a manager. On hold 15 minutes. Hung up. Called Back 4th time...1st in Queue for 15 min. No answer. Finally called back and picked Sales. I did have to wait for about 15 min, but there were others in the queue in front of me. I then got Fred! Thank the Lord! Fred went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me! If I ever HAVE to order from Western Chassis again, I will go to Fred directly!!!! ORDER TRACKING SUCKS! They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! THANKS FOR SAVING THE DAY FRED! You get 5 stars!!!

**DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE** This is one of the most unprofessional parts stores I have ever had to deal with. I ordered a full drop kit front and back for my c10. I only received the parts for the back. My truck has been stuck at a shop half way done hogging space for a 4hr job. After calling 3x and being hung up on I finally got a guy telling me that there was a note in one of the boxes stating they would send the front springs a few days later. I called the day later to follow up and then told by another agent that she knew nothing about any parts being shipped! I paid in full! If they knew they couldnt send the whole kit they should have never taken my money. I still havent received my parts 2 weeks later. They just told me that the front springs will not be shipped out the following Tuesday and that if I wanted them faster I would need to pay for expedited shipping for a problem I didnt cause! They have no sense of transactional ethics when dealing with customers and/or their problems with the service. There are so many other places to shop. I would suggest one other than this unless you want the run around!!

HIGHLY IMPRESSED. Please read.Below is my original post, within 30 minutes I received a call from Brandon. With great concern he asked a few questions about the product and stated he would send out new bracket and lines.I was amazed! In less than a week my new parts arrived. Excellent fit, new lines. A company with integrity and made in the USA. I will most definitely will continue to do business with a company with these high standards and integrity.With much thanksDarryl M. DworakPurchased rack and pinion for my 1976 PU recently, supposed to bolt into existing bolt holes and it did. Unfortunately it was 3/4 of inch lower on one side and the hydraulic lines on the unit had been kinked and bent. Spay painted over old paint. Will not do business with Western Chassis again. Please dont suggest my frame was bent as the frame is straight and leveled.Regards

Only reason why I’m giving one star is because I’m forced other than that I would rate this place ZERO! Customer service is trash for one, it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone and when you do they can never give a straight answer they always claim someone’s looking in the warehouse for parts, they never return phone calls. And when I finally did get my “kit” in I dropped it off and half of the kit was missing and the parts I did have wasn’t even for my truck! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Ill start off by saying parts worked decent, that the only reason Im rating 2 stars. Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced. Calls and emails are never answered or returned, waited over a month for parts to ship but never did. Called multiple times on hold just to find out parts are backordered but never an email to say so. Promised a call back several time that never happened. Finally got first bach of parts after 2 months then after several calls got second shipment later. I was originally told that shocks were back ordered but they could send me a different brand I said yes but they never arrived, then got shocks 2 months later. I understand covid has had an impact on businesses and shipping but the lack of communication just felt like they didnt even care.

Went down to Western Chassis today to pick up another 6 inch front drop and 8 inch rear drop kit for my 2nd c30 project. i came across the review of the spindles on here, so i decide to take some time and post this review. I have gone to western chassis on more than 1 occasion, being that i am a hobby mechanic the guy behind the counter have been more than helpful all the way through my build, so naturally when i decided to build a 2nd truck i went down to see them. i have attached a picture of the spindle that i purchased today for my 1978 c30, i am using all moog front end suspension parts so i included the box for the original replacement moog outer tie rod end in the picture part number ES409RT. Thanks again for all the help with my project, i will be back again too see you for the next one.

Received a pair of #13600 drop spindles advertised as fitting 73-91 c30s. Tie rod arms were not properly reamed, and my factory c30 tie rod ends did not even come close to fitting. I emailed them several pictures, measurements and even a 2 minute video. Called over half a dozen times, despite being #1 on the call wait list, sat on hold forever, no one ever answered the phone or emailed me back or even returned my calls.Absolute garbage customer service. Thank god I ordered from Summit or I might have been stuck with these parts, cant imagine having to return an item to a company that wont even respond. Purchased Belltech drop spindles and sending these things back to Summit.Small businesses wonder why large corporations like Amazon, Jegs, Summit etc are taking all their business. Its because I can pick up the phone (or get online), get a hold of a customer service rep in a matter of minutes who will remedy the problem immediately and even pay the shipping back. You would think small businesses would be bending over backwards to keep what little customers they have.EDIT:What the owner (or whoever is responding to this) and the tech supports cant seem to fathom despite me telling them over and over is that my 65 c30 has a complete 73-87 c30 front end on it (you cant do a disc brake conversion without doing this as no one makes a tie rod adapter for the c30 stuff like the early c10s that Im aware of, and the only reason I would be ordering a disc brake drop spindle would be to....do a disc brake conversion). The factory ES409 tie rod end did not even come close to fitting in their spindle. The fact that my truck is a 65 is completely irrelevant because all the steering is 73-87. The exact same c30 tie rod end dropped right into the Belltechs that I just received. Funny huh?So in short. Not only did I send them pictures, pictures of measurements (their tie rod arm taper didnt even measure 1/2 at the narrowest part, the ES409 tie rod end is 5/8 at its narrowest part), and a video of the ES409 tie rod not fitting their spindle, the exact same tie rod fit my new spindle perfectly. I literally have pictures proving their spindle was not machined correctly.Rather than take care of their customers, they blew me off for 3 days despite probably half a dozen emails, and just as many calls. I never heard back from them. I sent their spindles back on day 4 . They ONLY reached out to me after I wrote this review. I do not make bad reviews on a whim, but this company doesnt even deserve 1 star. Even now they are refusing to admit to QC issues and essentially calling me a liar. Save yourself a lot of time and headache and just shop somewhere else (Belltechs were $30 cheaper too).

Where should I start? Back ordered parts which I was never notified about or says online... lost money on a project. Shipping both ways because of their error not telling me about back ordered parts until 2 weeks later. Call for a refund that took another week in a half just to open the boxes after notification they received the parts. Then proceed to add a restocking fee to brand new parts.. I should have stuck with CCP from the start. Dont buy their stuff. And their staff usually just throws you on hold and passes you around. California go figure. Also the parts are not lighter than other parts. They actually weigh more than stock parts.

Buyers beware. Staff has no knowledge of parts they sell. Ordered lowering kit for my pick up, only ro find out that customer service is not number 1. Had to wait on parts, then when received parts, wrong parts. You would think a company that sell the product should have some knowledge of what they are selling. Horrible experience.
