Had a great experience today ordering a particular part for one of my cars. I dealt with Fred who went above and beyond to make sure my order would be correct.

Update to my previous review. I was exceptionally displeased with the customer service and that narrative has changed. A certain customer service representative refused to elevate my concerns and once management learned of the issue were quick to step in and take care of the issues. These are a group of good natured gear heads that like me want to keep the classics on the road. After reconciliation I would purchase from them again.

Called and spoke with a Mike about trying to track down a particular part, he called me back and got it shipped out to me with no hesitation!! Top notch customer service, appreciate it Mike

We had a problem with Fedex losing part of our shipment and while we got no help from Fedex our hero Fred came to our rescue. He tracked down our missing box and part and handled it all in a mater of less than ten minutes including finding the box calling me back and processing it to ship again the next day.I am impressed with the service and the solution oriented approach that Fred took.

So I called Performance Online on the Saturday morning of the Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately they did not carry the part I was looking for but the person that was helping me looked for three different places that would possibly be open on this holiday weekend and would possibly carry the part that I needed. Awesome customer service! You guys have my vote. Customer for life.

I ordered brake lines for a 1957chevy. They have no instructions on how they are designed to be installed. In fact they buy them from ss tubes and that company has no instructions either. Be better off to buy tubing and make your own lines. Very dissatisfied. What a farce.

Hi POL,I have recently purchased some big brakes and other cool parts for my 87 R10/ C10 truck, I had the pleasure of working out the parts that I needed for my truck with Mike Johnson, he is awsome and went above and beyond to ensure that as I am across the pond that the parts I have ordered where correct for my truck. I could not have had better customer service and value for money, I will for sure be shopping with you guys again, Amazing!

Ordered a front drop spindle and disc brake conversion for a 1970 C10 Chevy truck. Along with some drop springs. Took 4 months to get all the parts. Tie Rod ends didn’t fit the spindles. They supplied new tires rod ends. Old tie rod ends didn’t fit either. Had to have them drilled out at a machine shop. Power brake booster was wrong as well. The pivot pin sleeve was about. 1/4” too wide and was wedged in the frame. Put the brakes on and they never come completely off because of the tight clearance. Boiled my brake fluid first run out. The master cylinder has an issue with the seals. Fluid passing by the internal seals. Really soft pedal after bleeding 5 times. Master cylinder didn’t seem to relieve all the pressure when you let off brakes. Pads dragged continuously. I fixed the power booster by trimming the pivot pin sleeve. Threw away the master cylinder and the proportioning valve. Put the old original back on.Customer service phone doesn’t answer anymore. Have to contact by email. They said they would take back all the bad parts with a 15% restocking fee and I have to pay shipping. The garbage can was cheaper. Cheap Chinese garbage that just kind of fits. Total disappointment after waiting 4 months.Buyer beware.

Placed and order with Austin over the phone I believe it was Tuesday, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He went beyond expectation and took measurements off a car they had in there shop that matched mine to make sure I got the right part. Got an invoice emailed less then a day and half later that my order already shipped and will be here before the weekend. The shocks are still being prepped but Fred is on top of that getting me an e.t.a on when those should arrive. I wanna give these guys a hand for the awesome customer service. I’m definitely looking forward to doing business with them again for more parts needs!

Called Performance Online for some much needed help with my 72 Chevelle SS suspension. Fred was great! He answered all of my questions and gave me recommendations along the way. He mentioned that some parts were backordered but went out of his way to arrange for me to pick up the rest of my parts ASAP while the others came in. This is my first time working with POL and it definitely wont be my last! Thanks Fred and thanks POL!

In July 2021 I ordered a stage 3 kit with big block springs and asked for stock height. I received the kit packed loosely in a box and the coil springs were wrapped in styrofoam with no part number. The springs were smaller in diameter but taller than the original ones. I installed the kit and found that I had lost 1 inch in height so I had spacers installed which brought it up 1/2 inch. I contacted Mike Johnson, sales manager at Performance Online. He asked what box they came in (they were not in a box) and said it was possible they sent springs for a small block instead of a big block and asked me to send photos - which I did. Then he asked me to take measurements of the installed springs but you can only do that by removing them from the car. Performance Online said they would replace the springs if they sent me the wrong ones, but would NOT pay to have them reinstalled. I paid $975 for the kit and this was extremely poor customer service. I wont be doing business with them again. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I must have placed 2 or 3 orders from other vendors for the parts I needed for me 1969 GMC short bed when I actually should have just ordered them from Performance Online FIRST. As they say, intelligence allows for a change in mind. Well, there ya go. After speaking with Fred on the phone for a short while, I knew this gentleman knew what he was talking about. Not only did he find the parts I was looking for, he also was knowledgeable enough to ask if a few ancillary parts were needed. All in all, Fred did a fantastic job on getting me all lined up on the parts I knew I needed and a few that I didnt know I was going to need. In regards to shipment, the Performance Online time frame is MUCH shorter than any of those other guys. I look forward to doing business with Performance Online, and Fred, in the very near future. Performance Online, specifically DEVON B are terrific to deal with!I had a slight inside tire clearance on the right front POL upper control arm at full lock. Talked to Devon and sent pictures so he could see the problem. He asked all the right questions regarding my specific car. Following a few emails back and forth we concluded I needed a replacement set of arms. I shipped the old set back and he shipped the replacement set to me. Today I installed the new set and my tire clearance issues are solved!Outstanding customer service and support. These folks stand behind their products. I did not expect this level of attention to my relatively small issue.Going forward I will be making good use of POL products on this an my other vehiclesThanks POL!

If your looking for overpriced, cheap, Chinese parts that won’t last then this is the place for you……. It never ceases to amaze me how every time I get parts from this company the parts turn out to be terrible, don’t fit or wear out prematurely. Never again!!

I manage large independent auto repair and bodyshop in San Jose, I purchased a lowering kit for 1956 ford F100 about 2 months in advance to complete a project for a customer whos Truck, originally belonging to his dad was to appear in his wedding in place of his late father who passed recently. we ordered the kit, no mention of it being out of stock or any delays in shipping. one week, two weeks,four weeks go by then a incomplete kit arrives with no explanation of when the rest will come, no install paperwork. after a few emails all I get is basically we are sorry, its everyone elses fault ( production, shipping, buying manager Covid-19) I am amazed today to see my last email checking on status has gone 6 days without a reply! I get the supply chain issues! I am in the business! We all have problems, its what we do to resolve them that defines us! I can assure you I will not be purchasing from POL Performance in the future, I can not afford to treat my customers as they have treated me. P.s we were able to make the deadline for the vehicle, we thrashed, borrowed parts, modified parts and got it done! if the rest of my order ever shows up we will install it but we will see, I dont have a lot of confidence...

I ordered the merc front disc conversion kit from their Ebay store and they were beyond amazing! Everything came professionally wrapped and unable to be damaged even though the shipping company seemed to try to. I was missing a piece from the kit but they were very fast to get back to me and help me find the piece I needed so I can get my restoration on the way. Thank you so much Performance online!Couple weeks late but an update none the less! Got both sides on and they look and work amazing! They take forever, the kits are never complete, and they never call you back. Ive had to make several stops at this place all for one order. I ordered some brake lines and was told they would call me in 3-5 days, well 2 weeks later and nothing. So i showed up and there they had them. I take them home and sure enough it was not what I had ordered. My invoice also said I was receiving a 30 dollar discount and when I asked about it, they brushed it off. Called them to let them know about the situation and went to voicemail. I left a message and still nothing. Never going back. The longer drive to CPP in Placentia was worth it.

Called rather than ordering online and was helped by Mike. He was extremely helpful and made shopping a breeze. Its hard to find people who take the time to help and answer your questions without being pushy. I am very happy and cant wait to receive my c10 suspension rebuild kit!

I ordered a Mustage II suspension and had to wait 3 weeks to get it. It took me 4 months to get a person to start the welding. When we got to installing the rack in pinion, they sent me the wrong parts. Thank goodness to Heidi Bird who worked through lack of training and end of year inventory and new computer application, was able to get My parts.

I ordered a new Power Steering Gear box for my 65 Impala SS. It didnt initially fit, but after calling POL and speaking with someone, I learned that I also required a rag joint to make it work. Although the hold time was a bit long (25 minutes), it was worth the wait, as the person I spoke with was super knowledgeable and helpful. The steering box also vastly improved my cars steering. Big time props to these guys - I will shop here again.

Alright Long story short I ordered a front disc brake conversion kit. Once I finally got around to installing it, 3 months later I notice kit was missing Brake hoses. I cant really say enough about this company. They sell great parts, packaged well, and for competitive prices. There were issues with my order, some that I didnt find until long after I received the parts. The team at POL; Kyle, Rick, Fred, all quickly worked to find a resolution and provide replacement parts or send me something for free that would make the install easier. This is definitely a go-to company for my C10/C15 parts.

I purchased a power steering conversion kit for my C10 on September 22nd. FedEx damaged the package and will not deliver to me, so I contacted POL. There were some communication issues with them failing to call back as they promised at first. My initial review was 1 star due to these issues.However I have revised to 4 stars because once I got to the right person, POL committed to remedy the situation promptly. I’m happy to report that I received a tracking number for the replacement part the same day, as well as a courtesy call to make sure I was happy. They even offered to expedite shipping, which I declined because they seemed genuine in their apology for the issues. No sense making things harder out of spite.

I bought a power brake conversion kit from Performance on Line. Cant say enough good things about them.Had problems with the pedal going too far down to the floor. They talked me thru how to adjust the push rod between the booster & m/c. After everything was installed i discovered a vacuum leak in the booster. the front seal at the pedal push rod wasnt installed correctly. So they asked me to send it back, saying they would send me a replacement. So I sent it UPS, but it got lost / couldnt be delivered some how. They sent me a replacement anyway. It arrived last night & i got it in and drove the truck. It stops great.So thanks to Devon B. hes the greatest.

This is not a good company ! I bought a four link rear suspension kit for my 51 Chevy truck in December 2019. There was an issue with the length of the links. I spoke with Brandon and he promised get me the size I needed. I waited several weeks with no response even though I tried with email and phone calls. Finally a response from Brandon saying they. were swamped from the holidays and they would work on getting my my links made up. Never heard from him again! There are to many good companies out there to take a chance with this company. Tech support and customer service are not what they do here!Update;I heard From Brandon and I guess my shortened 4 links were ready to send to me but they never got sent out. They are on the way now. Not sure how this happened but I was pleased when they originally said they would make these up for me and am very happy now. Most companies probably would have said just send everything back. Performance Online went above and beyond to help a customer and that is pretty special.

Be prepared to wait on the phone for atleast an hour every time, then have to wait for weeks for your parts to come in. These guys are so disorganized I can’t believe they are still in business. I think they need to restructure their management team. I’ve been waiting on my mopar 8 3/4 rear end disc brake conversion kit for over a month now. They keep telling me it’s on the way and yet it never shows up. Terrible customer service

I placed an order for MII suspension kit on June 30. I waited a week to receive an email or notice of proof of shipping as the email I recieved when i placed the order indicated I would. After I didnt hear from POl after the first week I started to make calls to them to get an update or tracking number. Every time I called I recieved excuse after excuse as to way the order hadnt ship, from we cant find your original order, to we were waiting for one part but we just got a shipment in and it will ship today. I was always told that they would send me tracking info but I would never get such an email. Today I had enough and finally asked for a refund. I was told I should have my PayPal account refunded in after the weekend. But I have a feeling that its going to be another series of excuses as to why my refund hasnt been processed. Ive been in the automotive parts business for 30 plus years so I understand about back orders and such but want I dont understand is this companys lack of communication and honesty towards its customers. From other reviews I have read, unfortunately after I placed my order, this seems to be business as usual f for this company. My warning to others, take your business elsewhere.

Very disappointed with my last two purchases, they haven’t had the parts on the day they promised. I waited on the phone today for a long time down to number #2 just to get hung up on. I called back to ask for an update on my order and got a voicemail to leave a message, the voicemail mail was full! Called back and got in line again and waited, got to number two, again and got placed on hold for another 5 minutes. Finally, I got an update on my parts, (parts were due today). I was informed that the parts will not be in until Tuesday.👎

I ordered parts on a Monday and need them by the weekend. Picked the ground shipping because it says (2 days). I live four hours away from corona California. Well its Wednesday and still no shipping confirmation even after I called and they said they would make sure to get it out asap. I ordered some parts from summit last night and they shipped this morning and will be in my hand tomorrow. If you have the parts in stock, why are you so slow on processing and shipping? You have my money and I have nothing yet. I sure hope the parts are worth the hassle. If your website says 2 days and you know it takes a week, maybe you should change that. Im only giving the extra star because the product seems well thought out. Its a shame when companies like performance online offer cool stuff but fail at customer service and timely processing. Some people arent just tinkering on their ride. Sometimes we have deadlines and rely on what is said and pictured on a website. Please do better.

Worst auto parts company I have ever had to deal with. I purchased a disc brake conversion kit for my 1967 c10 pickup from this company as well as an adjustable pan hard bar which I paid for an overnight delivery. I paid to have the items shipped over night so I can have them by the weekend since I had requested the weekend off from work to get it installed. Placed the order on Wednesday April 15th, never received a call from customer service to let me know that some of the parts I had ordered were not in stock. Called thursday afternoon since I hadnt received any tracking info only to find out order still hadnt been processed yet. Was told the issue was due to a new employee taking the order. Called a few times to try to get a tracking number was told they didnt have one since my order still hadnt been processed, Was told the best they can do was refund me half the cost of the overnight shipping I had paid for which I believe shouldve been fully refunded due to the fact that I placed the order on April 15th for overnight delivery and my order didnt get shipped out till April 20th none of which was my fault. Customer service shouldve reached out to let me know of the issue before charging my debit card not once did I get a call from them, Here I am April 29th still waiting for my refund that they were supposed to have processed last week, was told It should get taken care of today which i hope it does so i dont have to keep calling them for things they should be taking care of already. I dont think i will ever do business with this company again and i wouldnt recommend it to any one i know.

Had some tech problems on a drop kit and left a bad review. Management called me immediately the following day and has addressed every issue I had. They have restored my faith with them. Im now ordering more parts for my 72 C10 today.

I ordered a 60-66 c10 Front and Rear brake conversion kit from them and they had my order processed within a 2 to 3 days and had my parts sitting at my door with in 8 days. They were a lot quicker than i thought with the whole process and there was no broken or missing parts in the order.. i am very happy with the company and will be a returning customer!

I ordered a disc brake conversion kit (stock spindles) and brake booster/master cylinder for my 67 C10. Both items arrived nicely packaged and when they were supposed to. Would definitely purchase from them again.

They sent the wrong parts and then never refunded my credit card after I returned them. After following up with them, they continued to say that they would take care of it, but never did. I tried speaking to other people in the company to resolve the situation but was still unable to find someone that would follow through with taking care of me. My experience was poor customer service and the seem to lack knowledge or the proper training of the products they sell. On a side note, most of their inventory seems to be drop-ship and can probably be purchased directly from the manufacturer allowing you to receive it faster and cheaper.

I bought over 2 thousand in parts to fix my Chevy Nova to find out the parts they swore would fit didnt having to buy new rims because of those parts not fitting now Im getting to the point where Im putting on the brakes and the kids didnt have all the parts to them highly advise seeking other place to buy your supplies

Never again. I bought rear rotors for my 61 Impala from their page for 58-64 Chevys. Well the center opening is too small and they simply said, you can have this done at any machine shop, it should only run you about $20.00, due to the axle variations we do not open the hats up here so that it will fit multiple applications. How stupid is that. They should fit all 58-64 chevys. Never again.Update: thanks for the apology, however whomever you buy your product from produces a bad casting. Not only did I have to enlarge the center opening, the inside hat line needed grinding to fit as well. See picture. That is way to much modifying! BTW, for the record, the first set I bought didnt need any modifications. Lastly, my machine shop quoted $150, not $20.
