I am a daily customer. The people here are great. They have everything you need for a convenient store.
Just like the people there always friendly.
I needed to occupy my 5 year old for a half hour and I had a buy one sunday coupon so I stopped in.After some hemming and hawing they said the soft serve was broken so they couldnt make sundays. Then they said they could substitute a scoop of ice cream with a topping, that was fine.So I paid my money (they charged me for 1 scoop + topping $3.54)and after serving up a scoop they refused to honor my free one coupon. They said they would allow a substition then refused the coupon AFTER TAKING MY MONEY.I can get a scoop of wildy overpriced ice cream anywhere. On top of all that the ice cream was awful. Clearly it was old and gummy.First and last stop at a Byrne Dairy!!
My only suggestion for my favorite deli is that they lock the dumpsters behind their store. I was walking late last night with my wife and our dog Muffin when we noticed a large hairy pigman rummaging through their dumpsters. I confronted it because at first I thought it was a human but my wife and I were horrified to see it was a local pigman named Jason Doughty. It let out an oinkish squeal and we saw it had a beard and was almost passable as a human. Apparently this pigman they pass off as a human named Jason runs a local car shop that enjoys firing fathers of young kids and babies in the ICU. I thought that his wife had kept him locked up in their homestead but I was wrong. To be honest, as a local Corning man I would appreciate it if the authorities looked into whether or not a pigman was allowed to not be confined to an enclosure. Perhaps we can vote at the next town meeting whether or not we want a pigman running a car shop and rummaging through dumpsters behind our favorite delis and disrupting our daily lives. He also abused his previous employee Chris Holley. I mentored Chris Holley for a short time and advised him against working for a pigman but obviously its hard to tell whether or not he is a pigman or human. I thought it was obvious and our dog Muffin certainly was offended by the stench but somehow I guess in this day and age even pigmen can get away with abusing people and eating trash.
Good deli grab a Rueben melt on your next visit it’s awsome well managed store friendly and clean
Nice clean place....workers are friendly. But there pizza is a bit off.....ordered extra cheese and extra pepperoni.....and got a doughy regular cheese pepperoni pizza that I could have gotten elsewhere for about 6 bucks cheaper...had there subs before and there really good..maybe it was just an off day...
Very clean and tidy. Aside from the select products that are expensive but normal price for a convenient store, the food is priced well and is good. Manager is great.
THE RUDEST STAFF IVE EVER MET! We spend well over $200 A WEEK here and I dread going here but the ONLY reason we do is because of the convenience! I’m DISGUSTED!
The subs are delicious. This place is really busy tho! Plan when youre going to come in around that!
I love all the Byrne Dairys!
